- @TornadoLGS, Balthazarduju, and Daniel Case: There was some vandalism a week ago and the block is correct due to the personal attacks, but this is probably a content dispute at the end of the day because while some of the information in the edits are already in the article, they're currently unsourced and the IP edits are adding those sources. There's probably a better way to address this than just fully reverting everything ... Sdrqaz (talk) 23:54, 20 February 2025 (UTC)

- this should be the otherway. the article clearly states that what he spread was false. if what he spread was false then he did spread misinformation about debanking. Jtbobwaysf has made persist changes that ofisgate the reality of it . first they tried to remove the entire reference to the events in question. they changed it to "shared his own experiences of " which also is not what the article says.The article says the information he said on debanking wasnt connected to reality and thats worth being mentioned.
- I can understand why it can be precieved to be a violation of neutral point of view but further evaluation will prove that that not to be the case. Marc Andreeseen went on joe rogan and claimed that the CFPB was involved in and responsible for debanking and under the personal unilateral perview of Senator Elizabeth warren. the CFPB has not be involved in debanking and Senator Elizabeth Warren does have unilateral control of the Consumer Finnance Protection Bureu. his claims are therefor just false. a neutral prespective would point out the flaws in his claims just like any other conspircy theory.
- if you were to say that "spread misinformation about debanking" is a non neutral prespective due to verbage there are other examples of wikiapedia entries in which that verbage is used for living people. take for example Nick Fuentes in his wikiapedia it says "Fuentes has frequently spread conspiracy theories and misinformation surrounding the FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccines" and proves a article from Salon. so its clear that this verbage is neutral by wikipedias standards. so if it stands for the Nick Fuentes wikiapedia what is difference from the Marc Andresen one. both have a repubable source, both state that the claims made were misinformation. the only difference to me seems to be that is Jtbobwaysf has a personal interest in Cryptospace related people and Marc Andreesen is a big proponent of Cyrptospace. which points to the crux of the issue a personal bias by that edtior to scrub the falsehoods of Marc Andreesens claims while keeping the reference to the joe rogan experience so that a curious mind might be inclined to watch it and believe the claims made by Andreesen.

Current requests for reduction in protection level
Before posting, first discuss with the protecting admin on their talk page. Post below only if you receive no reply.
- To find out the username of the admin who protected the page, click on "history" at the top of the page, then click on "View logs for this page," which is under the title of the page. The protecting admin is the username in blue before the words "protected", "changed protection level" or "pending changes". If there are a number of entries on the log page, you might find it easier to select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" from the dropdown menu in the blue box.
- Requests to downgrade full protection to template protection on templates and modules can be directed straight here; you do not need to ask the protecting admin first.
- Requests for removing create protection on redlinked articles are generally assisted by having a draft version of the intended article prepared beforehand.
- If you want to make spelling corrections or add uncontroversial information to a protected page, please add {{Edit fully-protected}} to the article's talk page, along with an explanation of what you want to add to the page. If the talk page is protected, please use the section below.

All mass blankings have been reverted within a minute, and protection does help keep the page stable, however, there is a very clear SOCK-behavior going on it since August 2024. Brief protections do not work. I'm honestly requesting unprotection to help catch more of this LTA's accounts. The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 21:51, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
- This is just one of many many honeypots for this LTA; I wouldn't have protected it otherwise. Also, you're supposed to ask the protecting admin before making a request here (which is highlighted in bright yellow on this page).-- Ponyobons mots 22:01, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
Declined per above. Daniel Case (talk) 02:42, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
Reason: The protection is no longer necessary because it is being used to hide true and undeniable information about Harry Sisson’s history that is easily proven such as his Irish Citizenship, and that he grew up in Ireland ....... . UkrainianMerc (talk) 11:08, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
Current requests for edits to a protected page
Please request an edit directly on the protected page's talk page before posting here
Ideally, requests should be made on the article talk page rather than here.
- Unless the talk page itself is protected, you may instead add the appropriate template among
{{Edit protected}}
,{{Edit template-protected}}
,{{Edit extended-protected}}
, or{{Edit semi-protected}}
to the article's talk page if you would like to make a change rather than requesting it here. Doing so will automatically place the page in the appropriate category for the request to be reviewed. - Where requests are made due to the editor having a conflict of interest (COI; see Wikipedia:Suggestions for COI compliance), the
{{Edit COI}}
template should be used. - Requests to move move-protected pages should be made at Wikipedia:Requested moves, not here.
- If the discussion page and the article are both protected preventing you from making an edit request, this page is the right place to make that request. Please see the top of this page for instructions on how to post requests.
- This page is not for continuing or starting discussions regarding content should both an article and its discussion page be protected. Please make a request only if you have a specific edit you wish to make.
I would like to request if my son's page could be restored. I just learned that since his passing in 2018 that the page he created prior to is no longer found. I am his father and would like to update it and protect it for all time. Please let me know if you are able to assist or where I should look for such.

Autopatrolled
Hello, I have created 75+ articles, since I got autopatrolled mostly focusing on television series. For transparency, I'm still working on the feedback received from @Schwede66 in my last request. And I intent to keep doing the good work. Thanks for your consideration. Wishing the community a prosperous new year. C1K98V (💬 ✒️ 📂) 06:56, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
Concise, well-written and sufficiently articles, mostly with a royal or Church of England focus. I looked at an articles of theirs as part of NPP, and found it to be up to standard without editing. Others look reasonable too. Klbrain (talk) 12:15, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
It is my 8th year of editing (4th with this account). I have written a number of articles of various types and none have been permanently deleted. I have made mistakes, but understand what they were and how to avoid them. About to publish many geography stubs (manually written, differing in content, not violating MASSCREATE - see Ledenice and Zapeć for examples). Articles like Cirsium greimleri, First Vrbnik Breviary, Petər Klepəc and Veternica are more representative of my work, though. Ivan (talk) 17:48, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
91 main space articles, 45 rated above stub, no deletions. I mostly create articles for albums or BLPs of musicians. GanzKnusper (talk) 09:26, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
I know my first articles are... bad, but my recent pages, Yumeshima Station, Meitetsu KiHa 10 series, Meitetsu 3400 series, and Resignation services should be good without being patrolled. ABG (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 03:11, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
The user has created 189 articles, and only two have ever been deleted—with one later restored. They have a strong understanding of reliable sources (WP:RS) and are well-versed in BLP policies (WP:BLP). I've reviewed one or two of their articles, and I believe they truly deserve the rights. I would like to use AWB for repetitive editing tasks. I do these a lot for the projects I am a part of, and they have become very tedious. Edit: one of the projects I am a part of for a Church, does not have very many active contributors but a very large backlog. The effort to maintain the articles we have would be largely simplified by using AWB. Peace, Thorn6130✝ (talk, ask questions, dispute) 21:49, 17 February 2025 (UTC) |

This is a (new) alt account of User:RedactedHumanoid, and has been created with the sole purpose to edit articles that I do not want to edit on my main account (NSFW articles, etc). Most of these articles are semi-protected, so I am requesting confirmed rights so I can edit those pages. RedactedHumanoid66 (talk) 23:05, 16 February 2025 (UTC)

Arcticocean requested that, "If [I] wish to gain [ECR] again, the onus would be on [me] to prove that trust has been regained." To address this challenge, I would like to respond to the two concerns raised:

New page reviewer
I would like to be a new page reviewer, I continuously contribute to New Pages and having failed the previous request to be one, i would like to try once again having positively learned more and contributed to much more new pages. Pizza on Pineapple (Let's eat🍕) 07:54, 15 February 2025 (UTC)

I mostly engage with improving new pages like adding cats, short desc., etc. and also quite active in AFD, would like to help further in the new pages patrol in reviewing for quality and to help with the backlog. AgerJoy talk 17:38, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
Hello again, I was granted NPR for the January backlog drive, and reviewed 48.4 in total. I was planning to do a lot more, but I quickly learnt it's best to stick with subjects I'm familiar with, mainly English football, so didn't end up doing much beyond that. Anyway, I'd like to continue reviewing. I doubt I'll be a prolific reviewer, but otherwise happy to handle what I come across, and participate in future backlog drives as required. I only had a couple of re-reviews, so I welcome any admin to check over other reviews I've made. Thanks. CNC (talk) 18:26, 20 February 2025 (UTC)

Pending changes reviewer
I'd like to request pending changes review rights because I am familiar with the policy and this would help me with my vandalism patrols. Furthermore, I am currently trying to accept a request, but I do not have the permissions. Thanks! Ali Beary (talk2me!) (stalk me?!) 13:29, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
I have been an active contributor to Wikipedia and focused on editing articles, reviewing new pages & combating vandalism. I am requesting for PCR right to speeding up the review process for pending changes. I am familiar with key Wikipedia content policies, including vandalism, biographies of living persons (BLP), neutral point of view (NPOV), verifiability, and copyright compliance. I've also been involved in patrolling recent changes, where I use Twinkle tool to revert vandalism. With my experience and understanding of these policies, I believe that I can effectively contribute to reviewing pending changes. 𝐌P⚚𝛂n 𓃠 {✝alk} 20:05, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
I'm well familiar with Wikipedia policies. And in my spare time I am always on duty to combat any vandalism or violation of Wikipedia policies. This right will serve me well. Thanks! Vellutis (talk) 18:48, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
I understand pending change policies well, in addition to my knowledge of general Wikipedia editing policy/procedure. I would like to further contribute in this way. Thanks. Peace, Thorn6130✝ (talk, ask questions, dispute) 00:14, 18 February 2025 (UTC)
I patrol recent changes, mainly for vandalism, but I also get in contact with a lot of pending changes and like to help. I am familiar with the related policies. Squawk7700 (talk) 18:06, 18 February 2025 (UTC)
I am requesting reviewer rights to help improve the quality and accuracy of Wikipedia articles, particularly in areas related to Pakistan and some notable international articles like television shows and international cricket. I also created a page Kana Yaari directly, which is a result of my performances on Wikipedia. I have gained experience through consistent and constructive editing, and I am familiar with Wikipedia's content policies, including neutral point of view, verifiability, and reliable sourcing. I aim to assist in maintaining the integrity of semi-protected pages and contribute to the efficient review of pending changes. Currently I'm a auto confirmed user rights. Rollback
after 2 years I got alot of editing, wanna test another experience. thanks QalasQalas (talk) 00:15, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
Hi. I've recently come across several instances where rollbacking would be faster than manually reverting nonconstructive consecutive edits. I don't patrol Recent Changes, but I am quite active and have more than 3,100 pages on my Watchlist. Thanks for your consideration. PRRfan (talk) 04:11, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
I've previously requested rollback twice but I'm here a third time to ask once again. I think rollback would be much easier in loads of situations. I patrol certain pages and help maintain others, and I've had the experience of needing to revert numerous edits but since I do not have the rollback feature I have had to manually revert the changes, which take up too much time and are quit time consuming, not to mention tedious. So I am here once again to request rollback in order to revert vandalism, unconstructive edits or misinformation as well as other tid bits. Lemonademan22 (talk | contribs) 23:17, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
There have been too many times when multiple rounds of improper edits/vandalism on pages I follow have required individual reversions, so having the rollback permission would be useful. Coining (talk) 04:09, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
