Giulia Guerrini moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Giulia Guerrini, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]Hello, I'm Binksternet. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Carlos Gardel seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for November 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (soundtrack), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Tim James and Adam Watts. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Still Alive (Demi Lovato song)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Still Alive (Demi Lovato song) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from umusic.ca/press-releases/demi-lovato-releases-still-alive. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Onel5969 TT me 11:16, 26 May 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hi BePlus. I see you have been adding certification tables to several articles. Please note that the bottom part of the chart, {{Certification Table Bottom}}, contains footnotes that need to match the table itself, otherwise the entire table makes no sense. Styling
[edit]Per MOS:VAR, MOS:RETAIN, and WP:ALBUMSTYLE, there are multiple styles for track listings on album articles and if an existing style is at a page, it should not be unilaterally changed. Can you please undo this edit to restore the style that was on this page? And furthermore, if you continue adding sources, can you please do so with the existing list style? Thank you. ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 21:02, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:The Secret of Us – Gracie Abrams.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:The Secret of Us – Gracie Abrams.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:50, 4 May 2024 (UTC)

Regarding your removal of "the" from before "American singer" and similar descriptions
[edit]Regarding this edit, please see WP:FALSETITLE. You probably shouldn't remove these. Ss112 13:57, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hello! Do you know if there is any consensus on this? Because, as far as I can tell, this is a user essay and was added to Taylor Swift albums/songs articles, which is not the case. I do not see that its use is universal. CatchMe (talk) 14:15, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- Of course there's not consensus on it—there wouldn't be on grammar. However, it's the way people talk in real life, and Wikipedia should reflect this. We wouldn't say "I like American singer Taylor Swift", we would say "I like the American singer Taylor Swift". Dropping "the" from writing is giving someone a false title, and comes from journalistic writing where words are often dropped to save space. We don't need to do this on Wikipedia. Ss112 18:35, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
- I asked that since Wikipedia does not seem to follow this, even most of good/featured articles. CatchMe (talk) 22:07, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, but we've conformed to a journalistic style of writing even when we shouldn't have. That's why most articles have it, and that's what the essay points out. Ss112 01:08, 23 August 2024 (UTC)

The fact was ... that Shawn Mendes's song "Nobody Knows" was recorded in one take on a "tough night"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Nobody Knows (Shawn Mendes song). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Nobody Knows (Shawn Mendes song)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed.
