Anchor Radio Davao moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Anchor Radio Davao. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Wikishovel (talk) 13:50, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to DXRR (Davao City). Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 13:01, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for creating many new lists of radio stations. Unfortunately, they are all without any sources, which is against the verifiability principle of Wikipedia. 909 AM moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 909 AM, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) AM frequencies

[edit]

The reason I have draftified the various articles is because they lack any sources or references, which is required to establish notability (see WP:GNG). Moving the articles into draftspace allows you (or other editors) the opportunity to improve the articles by adding suitable sources and reliable references establishing their notability. Please explain your contributions using a descriptive edit summary. Changing information on Wikipedia (such as numbers and dates) without explanation, as you did at Pulang Araw, may be confused with vandalism. Thank you. Hotwiki (talk) 12:28, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cut and paste moves

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. * Pppery * it has begun... 06:04, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrectly marking edits as "minor"

[edit]

Information icon Hi CryingSulfur! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Love (disambiguation) that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. —ShelfSkewed Talk 13:17, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article DXDC (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnecessary disambiguation page; a hatnote can be used instead.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, CryingSulfur

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Bastun, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, List of Viva Communications divisions, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Bastun}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!
