New articles
[edit]Please feel free to list your new United States Government-related articles here (newer articles at the top, please). Any new articles that have an interesting or unusual fact in them, are at least over 1,000 characters, don't have any dispute templates on them, and cite their sources, should be suggested for the Did you know? box on the Wikipedia Main Page.
- No TikTok on Government Devices Act
- Holding Foreign Companies Accountable Act
- Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Fellowship
- Bureau of Energy Resources

- United States Ambassador-at-Large to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons
- Assistant Secretary of State for Conflict and Stabilization Operations

- 99 Percent Declaration
- Boy Scout Memorial
- Vehicles of the President of the United States Bridges some gaps and adds a few interesting tidbits. Awg1010 (talk)
- National Weather Service Wichita, Kansas - Short, but informative. Could use a glance over to see if there is an appropriate infobox, etc. -- Ks0stm (talk · contribs)
- United States Forest Service - also not new but as allot of recently added info that needs review User:vlarian559
- Mutual Ownership Defense Housing Division
- Data & Analysis Center for Software
- Defense Technical Information Center - Not new, but recently revamped from the ground up by User:ThomasOwens
- United States Bureau of Mines - Newly tagged
- Communications School (United States Marine Corps) - I couldn't find a better place for this project - if there is a US Military project, it should probably be moved there. From what I've seen it's one person editing the page, but it does seem to be notable. Needs a lot of work.
- Electronic Prescriptions for Controlled Substances - a brand new article - modifies DEA regulations to permit the use of electronic prescribing for controlled substances.
- Panetta Review - brand new article about a secret internal review of the CIA's Bush-era enhanced interrogation techniques
Review and assessment
[edit]Tagging and Assessment
[edit]Any articles that are within the scope of this project should be tagged with {{WikiProject United States|class=|importance=|USGov=yes|USGov-importance=}}
banner. The resulting article ratings are used within the project to help in recognizing excellent contributions and identifying topics in need of further work. They also play a role in the WP:1.0 program, which the WikiProject uses to help automate some of the assessing process.
- The template should be placed on the talk pages of relevant articles to put them under the project's radar. It looks like this:
United States: Government Unassessed | |||||||||||||
|
The assessment is done in a distributed fashion through parameters in the {{WikiProject United States}} project banner; this causes the articles to be placed in the appropriate sub-categories of Category:United States Government articles by quality. WP:1.0 also produces a statistics page, and a log of articles assessed.
