A month ago we talked about an article I wrote. I am a paid contributor. I'm trying to follow all the guidelines and you helped me with that. I added some part to make it more impartial, talking about criticism. This article has already been previously approved by @Qcne. Can you check and see if you can exit drafts again?

1. draft declined
[edit]Hi SafariScribe, you just declined my draft Draft:Łukasz Twarkowski and I was wondering why, since I tried to follow the rules of publishing and verify my sources as good as possible. Could you please help me and tell, what exactly isn't right, so I can improve? Thanks StageCookie (talk) 12:28, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
- The writing shows a lot of promotional languages (WP:NPOV) such as
A key aspect of his artistic approach is examining the potential and limitations of theater as both a medium and a means of communication. By continuously deconstructing narratives, questioning audience conventions, and integrating new media in meaningful ways, Twarkowski develops an innovative stage language rooted in digital technology.
Such long text needs Citation from reliable sources, WP:RS, which your draft lacks. YouTube isn't reliable as well as the (likely reliable) web portal, Culture pl. Cheers! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 13:11, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
The article is a valid BLP for the English Wikipedia but it was very poorly translated by a non bilingual francophone, leaving several hours of clean up to the grammar to be done. Please consider reading the drafts for grammar and context before putting them back in the NPP queue. because they can't be returned to draft again. The next step would be a deletion process. I don't patrol AfC so if you come across any more like this please let me know, I'm bilingual English-French and I can CE them before they get slated for AfC. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 10:39, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you though @Kudpung. I copyedited as much as I could. If you think the article isn't notable, we always recommend AFD. Cheers! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 04:24, 21 February 2025 (UTC)

Regarding the declining of Draft:The Battle of Holy Mother of God Monastery
[edit]Good evening, I just received a notification that the page I wrote up for the "Battle of Holy Mother of God Monastery" was declined on the reason that "they do not show significant coverage about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject". However I had cited three sources, two books which had a dedicated chapter about this event, and an autobiography of a prominent figure of the Armenian National Movement who had participated in the battle and was an eyewitness. I was wondering why exactly was the page declined? I can offer you the sources if you need them for proof as they are online, but are written in Armenian.

Evening, sorry for the late reply (i was out the entire day) and I was stunned someone actually reviewed my draft (after 2 months), so I was both a bit angry but relieved to find out I got an answer.
Main topic above the context: What can I do to make it better, and where can I find better sources for me to use to help me create my second Wikipedia article? KC Alunan (talk) 23:05, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- I see the draft has been resubmitted. I will review it again or better, leave another editor. The subject is notable but the previous sources doesn't help us determine that. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 04:21, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
Notability for AfC
[edit]Hello, sorry for the late response. This draft, was not approved by you for notability, which I understand your point. However, I believe she is notable enough for the following reasons.
- Founder of CPH:DOX, which has its page. - (Former) Director of two danish institutes. - Director of Girl in the Water.
All of these, I think are notable enough to grant her a page, please tell me if I got anything wrong. (Locksmith) (talk) (contribs) 21:58, 18 February 2025 (UTC)
- @HiddenLocksmith, being the director of a film institute and founding a film festival may contribute to one's notability, however, we know that notability is not inherited and without adequate sourcing, we couldn't determine if he/she is really notable. The sources are too poor and doesn't meet WP:RS; thats my assessment. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 04:17, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
Hi @SafariScribe, you declined the article Thanasis Deligiannis. I am trying to think of how to improve it, as you wrote the sources are too trivial to establish notability.
I've added a citation by the Venice Biennale official website (the Venice Biennale is the most important art biennale in the world) about Deligiannis' participation as a featured artist. That's next to the e-flux citation (e-flux is the most important portal in the fine arts).
Would it help to find online relevant pages of important music ensembles he has worked with? But then, who's judging which ensembles are important or not (e.g. an ensemble in the Netherlands or Greece might be important for the new music scene, but for someone from the US it could be regarded as not important).
There's also citations for the Onassis Culture (that's one of the most prominent cultural institutions in Greece), and connections with festivals like Gaudeamus or venues like the Muziekgebouw. These are important in the Netherlands, as well as in the rest of Europe.
What I can't find online is more important sources for his life. Would it help if I search for interviews of Deligiannis online? In a quick research I mainly read interviews of artistic focus, not his life. I also see now some of his works are hosted by Score Follower (that's a youtube channel, however I see 47K subscribers), would that count in?
I hope I can get some help because I'm stuck on how to improve the article. There's another one I'm working on and I'd like to understand first how to move on with the Deligiannis one. It's a lot of hours to be spent on gathering all info, I'd like to keep my motivation high. Kamien Case (talk) 14:13, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Kamien Case, don't feel discouraged or stucked. First check if he meets WP:NARTIST. If he meets the criteria, then find sources that discusses, not only about him, but his works; something like reviews, etc, or Citation to a notable place where his artworks are held permanently. Does that help? Thanks! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 04:15, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- @SafariScribe the tricky part with the artist is that he's not a visual artist, nor a solid composer. I'm scanning the web for more sources and will do some work on this. Most likely I'll delete most of info I can't properly cite. I'm also asking for help from the visual arts, music and composers projects. Kamien Case (talk) 13:31, 21 February 2025 (UTC)

Second FLC nomination
[edit]Hello SafariScribe. I appreciate your interest at WP:FLC, but you've added a second nomination less than 12 hours after your first nomination was made. Per the instructions at the top of FLC: "Nominators should not add a second featured list nomination until the first has gained substantial support and reviewers' concerns have been substantially addressed.
" We typically also ask folks to have their first list promoted before allowing them to make two consecutive nominations aswell, as we want users to get familiar with the process first before they have two active nominations. I wanted to let you know as I intend to close your nomination. Hey man im josh (talk) 16:20, 22 February 2025 (UTC)

Article deletion - not a news report per se
Hi there. Thank you for a speedy review! I understand your reason for not approving this article. However, allow me to give some comment.
This may indeed seem like a news report indeed, but one should understand the context of the event. This is not just a report of a single event, but an explanation of a chain of events taking place over a week. In Czech Republic, it is currently a great subject of debate that resonates with many people, both believers and non-believers. It will surely be remembered as a case of conflict in the Prague Diocese, as well as the Catholic church affairs in Czech Republic. The reasons, I think, that such an article has it's place on Wikipedia are the following:
- May be searched in future as a historic case of church affairs in Czech Rep. Note that the "controversy" is over, as the two main actors have reached a reconciliation of their differences.
- Many of my foreign friends, all of whom speak English, have shown interest in learning about the event. This was the reason I've created this article.
Allow me to kindly ask for reconsideration based on the comments provided.
Kind regards, Simon
Simonmatz (talk) 16:28, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- Actually the writing seems like a reported event and it doesn't meet WP:NEVENT. I would like to ask if you are trying to create an article about the priest? Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 17:41, 25 February 2025 (UTC)

What is it exactly that you find unqualified about the submission I made. Because I used multiple verifiable sources and I thought there was more than enough information available for it. An I would like to know what is it exactly that I need to change on the page for me to be able to go ahead with that. Thanks.

Request to Re-evaluate Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth's Notability
[edit]I am writing regarding the recent decline of the Draft:Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth AFC submission and respectfully request a re-evaluation, as I believe it meets WP:NORG criteria. The Peeth holds significant national recognition, with media coverage in Times of India, Indian Express, Amar Ujala, and Deccan Herald, along with a historical and cultural impact. Additionally, its leader has been honored with the Padma Shri, and government records further validate its prominence. Given these verifiable references and the organization's notable influence, I believe a reconsideration is warranted. MH-wiki2025 (talk) 13:35, 26 February 2025 (UTC)

Hello!
Thank you for reviewing our submission. I'd like to seek clarification on the last time I submitted, which was after the first submission was rejected with an accompanying explanation that we weren't using good links. I updated the links accordingly and resubmitted, and that second submission was rejected without additional explanation.
Might I ask if the updated links are still not up to par, and for any other suggestions you might have to make the article worthy of submission? Here is the link: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Draft:Nutrient,_Inc.
Thank you again, and I'm open to all feedback.

Your suggestion to move Draft:Dolomitic failure in South Africa
[edit]I think, I need your help. But first, thanks for your suggestion to move Draft:Dolomitic failure in South Africa into Dolomite (rock), to which I agree because it was out intention. Now, User:Mikenorton reverted my addition, as (s)he considers that section too long or irrelevant for the Lemma Dolomite (rock). I already started a discussion with this User, but no reply so far. Taking into consideration that African Lemmas, and you know that better than anyone else, I assume, could we please create an own entry for Dolomitic failure in South Africa and direct from Dolomite(rock) to there? This might cause less trouble. If yes, would you mind doing so, as you have admin rights, which I don’t. This I would highly appreciate! – C.wolke (talk) 08:11, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
