Azalea, otherwise known by her pseudonym on Wikipedia and Fandom as EditorGirlAL07, is a New South Welsh high-school student, who currently resides in Sydney.
Her stint as a Wikipedia editor under the name EditorGirlAL07 began on 12 July 2024, and made her first edit on the article Indian locomotive class AP on the same day.
About her
[edit]As a contributor who upholds the perfection and uniformity in verifiability among articles of her interest, Azalea can be quite picky on certain issues (such as insufficient amount of sources or lack thereof), and therefore tend to insert maintenance templates into pages for other contributors to deal with. If necessary, she can fix the issues by herself, and it has been done in many cases, such as source hunting for articles lacking sources or covering-up bare URLs.
Azalea strongly believes that most, if not all train-related articles (particularly all forms of rolling stock) should have an infobox (such as {{Infobox locomotive}} or {{Infobox train}}) to ensure uniformity and giving out as much technical information as possible.

Indian locomotive class HG | 14 July 2024 (as draft article) 21 September 2024 (moved into mainspace) |
May have stemmed from Azalea's fascination of the Khyber Pass Railway and its use of steam locomotives in top and tail formation, as well as general interest in steam locomotives. | Created through AFC; first submission declined by Johannes Maximilian (talk · contribs) on 15 July 2024; second submission accepted by Bhairava7 (talk · contribs). |

Merbabu (talk · contribs) subsequently expanded the article to be at the same level as the other Lady-class ferry articles, per Azalea's plan. |

Other significant contributions
[edit]Page name | Date | Summary | Remarks |
---|---|---|---|
Midland Railway 2601 Class | 15 July 2024 | While surfing through Category:Draft articles on transportation, Azalea discovered this draft article. She thought that it was ready for submission, considering that the article was previously declined when it was mere barebones, and major improvements had been made between the two time periods. | Submitted on 15 July 2024; accepted by Gorden 2211 (talk · contribs) on 5 August 2024. |
Kantai Collection (TV series) | 15-16 July 2024 | Added the (incomplete) plot summary of the second series of the anime. Azalea also suggested that the list of characters should be split out into another article titled List of Kantai Collection characters. | |
Indian locomotive class HP | July 2024 | Added infobox, as well as other improvements. | |
Indian locomotive class PT | 17 July-24 October 2024 | Azalea discovered this article while surfing through Category:Draft articles on transportation, and made major improvements into this page, including the addition of the infobox. She submitted it through AFC on 17 July 2024, but was declined by Bhairava7 (talk · contribs) on 21 September 2024. This article was later accepted by ToadetteEdit (talk · contribs) a month after the second submission by The Little Chinese Engine (talk · contribs) on 24 September 2024. | This article was originally created by Venudxb (talk · contribs) on 20 January 2024, but was draftified by Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk · contribs) on the same day as lacking sources. |
FS class R.301 | 14 September 2024 | Added infobox and other improvements, while also making the article more accessible. | |
JNR Class ED62 | 26 October 2024 | Updated the article to correspond to its Japanese-language counterpart on the Japanese Wikipedia. Prior to this, it had been outdated for three years without the update banner. | |
Harold Standish and The Golden Time | October 2024 | The last edits ever made to the two hoax articles before they were deleted. | |
ÖBB Class 1014, ÖBB Class 4020, ÖBB Class 4030, ÖBB Class 5047 and ÖBB Class 1044 | 6 November 2024 | Painstakingly (re)inserting references, and some other clean-up work and improvements. | These five articles, prior to Azalea making edits to them, appeared to have been hastily expanded by Mika1144 (talk · contribs) in September 2024 by copying-and-pasting translated text from their respective German-language counterparts, resulting in references being wiped out, wikilinks becoming lackluster, and the overall quality deteriorated through rough translation. |
SBB-CFF-FFS A 3/5 | 23 November 2024 | Major expansion, using cited information from the corresponding article in German. | |
DEC700 | 24 December 2024 | Major expansion by partial translation from the Japanese version of the page, likely leading to this AFC draft being accepted by S5A-0043 (talk · contribs) on 24 December 2024. |
