Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Dimebag Darrell, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. - FlightTime (open channel) 02:41, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Titanic (1997 film). Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 01:54, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited A Knight's Tale, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Charles Miller. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

George A. Aguilar moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, George A. Aguilar, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, TTTEMLPBrony,

Thank you for creating E. J. Foerster.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Hi, nice work on your new article. It is currently uncategorised, though, and I would suggest adding it to appropriate Wikiprojects, such as Biography.

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:54, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Gary M. Hymes

[edit]

Hello TTTEMLPBrony, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Gary M. Hymes, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gary M. Hymes.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Ibjaja055}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Your edits

[edit]

Hello. I see that you have once again ignored other editors' edits and are imposing your wishes on the article second unit. Two of us, myself and Crazynas, have made edits attempting to reduce the article to a manageable size, removing much excess and off-topic prose and lists. I have mentioned it on your talk page here, inviting you to the article talk page to discuss it as well, so i know you should be aware of it. What you are doing ~ ignoring the concerns and edits of others, is ownership, and not a good trait for someone in a community. Please, pay attention, answer either here or at the talk page, and let's have a discussion about how to improve Second unit; the alternative, which i really do not relish the idea of, is asking for your editing to be restricted in some way ~ LindsayHello 12:47, 18 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In addition I would like to formally remind you that WP:BLP applies in all spaces, so if you do wish to add information about the works of a massive list of people in the film industry you need to WP:CITE your sources for all information. My recommendation, if you want this information here is to create a List of Second Unit Directors as an appropriate place for this. Best. Crazynas t 19:53, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely for lack of communication. Perhaps the reason you have not responded to anybody above is that you have not been aware of this page, your own talkpage? Please respond below this post and start communicating, and you may be unblocked. Bishonen | tålk 15:10, 4 January 2025 (UTC).[reply]

Hello.
I have not realized that accounts have talkpages. At least not me, the person who owns this account and is the one replying to this.
You see, I have allowed my younger brother to use my account. He was behind most of this "disruptive editing" that which you have accused me of committing. I have already dealt with him. I love him and he's my bro and all that, but he really pisses me the fuck off sometimes, but I guess that's what families are for: to be with you in the bad times as well as the good times.
And, that's all I have to say really. TTTEMLPBrony (talk) 01:46, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
See Wikipedia:My little brother did it. This was not the outcome I expected, but I'm afraid, since this account is clearly compromised, it must remain blocked. I have removed the block on creating new accounts, so that you may create a new account. Do not share it with anybody - that is a serious violation of Wikipedia policy, and if it happens again, you will be hardblocked. Bishonen | tålk 03:52, 5 January 2025 (UTC).[reply]
Very well then.
I shall create a new account. One no-one will know.
Good day, sir.

P.S. what does hardblock mean?

As the person who made the report, I find it hard to believe that "your little brother did it", when there hasn't been any different kind of editing and this has been going on for months. There hasn't been a change in style or subject matter. But it's not up to me, Bishonen gave you the benefit of the doubt. Do note that if you'll create a new account and will edit in the same way in the style, it'll be a WP:DUCK-situation, whether it's you, your little brother or someone else. In the future, please make sure to communicate, through your talk page and talk pages of articles. Thanks. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 14:21, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
