Concern regarding Draft:Deepali Sahay
[edit]Hey Dan,
Thanks for taking out time to review my article. It has been declined now for the fourth time. I have added all the requisite sources for the article still it is faling short of expectation. Not sure what do editors want.
Can you please help me with few bullet points? Abu muttalib (talk · contribs) 16:17, 28 December 2024
About the rejection of Draft:Bad Moon Rising: The Collection
[edit]Hi, you rejected my submission for Draft:Bad Moon Rising: The Collection for the music retail websites not being reliable sources, but Ultimate Creedence Clearwater Revival: Greatest Hits & All-Time Classics includes citations for music retail websites, and it’s still up. Newtatoryd222 (talk) 17:52, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Newtatoryd222:, simply the ''Ultimate Creedence Clearwater Revival: Greatest Hits & All-Time Classics'' complies with Wikipedia:NALBUM, in that it has multiple professional reviews, and evidence that the album charted, whereas ''Draft:Bad Moon Rising: The Collection'' doesn't. Dan arndt (talk) 04:43, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- Where would I find reviews for this album? Newtatoryd222 (talk) 21:45, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Newtatoryd222:, that’s not up to me, that’s up to you. They will need to professional reviews, such as the one on AllMusic, not personal reviews on blog sites. Dan arndt (talk) 00:08, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Dan arndt if I were to submit it now, would it get accepted? I assume it wouldn't, but just checking to be sure. Newtatoryd222 (talk) 16:00, 14 January 2025 (UTC)

Ali Raza (actor) now at AfD
[edit]You may wish to offer an opinion there. I have let you know because you made a comment on the (then) draft. If your opinion is the same or if it differs now, either would be valuable. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 10:05, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
I don't know whether you realised what a high-profile article you were reviewing at AfC: see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Me (DragonofBatley).
When you added content about the architecture, you added two "sfn" references which don't work: please fix these ASAP.
You also managed to delete the wrong one of the duplicate "References" sections, the one which was correctly placed before the External links. I've fixed that.
You added the church to the wrong category, dropping it down a grade from II* to II: I've fixed that.
There were a few other problems with the article, which I and other editors will probably fix.
Ah: just spotted what happened: you copied, without any attribution, the text from Listed buildings in Wellington, Shropshire, and didn't bother to fix the references. Please acknowledge other editors' work when you copy material, and please always check your references after any editing. Thanks. PamD 09:17, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
- As a courtesy, just letting you know that I've mentioned the AfC review in the discussion I linked above, in a post just now starting "I worry about AfC". I wondered about pinging you there but thought I'd notify you this way, less conspicuously. PamD 09:32, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia, and the {{copied}} template - or just follow the model of the templated message I've just added to both Talk:All Saints Church, Wellington and Talk:Listed buildings in Wellington, Shropshire. If you have copied other editors' work like this before, please go back and acknowledge their work (and fix any broken references). Thanks. PamD 10:19, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
- But thanks for all the work that you and other AfC reviewers do in filtering out the rubbish which might otherwise damage the encyclopedia! PamD 10:27, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
Question
[edit]On articles like Lynyrd Skynyrd discography#Compilation albums and The Beach Boys discography#Compilation albums, how do they make it show more than 1 for a year? Newtatoryd222 (talk) 19:45, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
