Your AfD nominations
[edit]Hi, please note that your AfD nominations appear to be a bit malformed - see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/School District 42 Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows. I would recommend using a tool like Twinkle to nominate articles in the future, as someone will have to fix up the nominations. Thanks. jellyfish ✉ 03:21, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hello,
- Thanks for that. I didn't know how to use Twinkle for this purpose. Please, help. wɔːr (talk) 03:23, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi! I see you're editing from mobile web. I'd recommend going into desktop view on your mobile browser. In desktop view:
- Beneath the spot where your username/contributions/watchlist etc are, there should be a "TW" tab
- Under that TW tab you'll find XFD
- In that, you can fill out categories the deletion discussion would fit into, write your reasoning, etc
- It'll log everything for you
- I hope this helps! jellyfish ✉ 03:27, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I will apply that. wɔːr (talk) 03:33, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, another user by name User:Queen of Hearts already fixed that. Thanks for coming close to me and you really helped. wɔːr (talk) 03:43, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I will apply that. wɔːr (talk) 03:33, 3 June 2024 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for June 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nnamdi Kanu, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Telegraph. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello War Term! Your additions to Kenya Finance Bill 2024 have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — JJMC89 (T·C) 02:03, 25 June 2024 (UTC)

ITN recognition for Kenya Finance Bill protests
[edit]On 27 June 2024, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article 2024 Parliament of Kenya attack, which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Schwede66 02:37, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- Can you please break this down for me? I am new here. Wår (talk) 05:44, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- On the Main Page, there is a section titled "In the news". Current content there links to this article you worked on, so this message is basically because perhaps you'd like to know that, many people look at the Main Page. [1] may be of interest too. And the next time you start an article, perhaps WP:DYK will be of interest. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:14, 27 June 2024 (UTC)

Nomination of Biafra Referendum for deletion
[edit]The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Biafra Referendum until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:09, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
On Simon Ekpa
[edit]Please, read WP:WAR. I’m seeing a pattern of instating your preferred version in the article while neglecting consensus calling them “irrelevant”. Behaviours such as this would result to filing a report to the necessary venues. On another note, if you have a conflict of interest towards Ekpa, it would be good to express this on your user page; you can of course choose to ignore this part of my message. Speedy deletion nomination of Finance bill rotests in Kenya
[edit]Hello War Term,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Finance bill rotests in Kenya for deletion, because it's a redirect that seems implausible or is an unlikely search term.
If you don't want Finance bill rotests in Kenya to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
