[edit]Hi! Thank you for your recent good faith contributions. I suggest you to comment on the current discussion regarding the article's move. Since it seems to be controversial and not all outlets or sources use the same translation, it may be more appropriate to start a move proposal. Best wishes! --Jamez42 (talk) 13:16, 12 April 2019 (UTC)

[edit]You moved an article in what looks to be an incorrect way; please join the discussion here. Also, please review WP:EDITWAR, and do not keep reverting to your preferred version. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:26, 12 April 2019 (UTC)
- The changes you made have now been corrected, to restore the original article. If you want to create a separate article about a new coalition, please be sure to use reliable sources, and do not change references to the old organization in articles where that was the organization at the time. Important Notice
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

General Prohibition
[edit]As per WP:A/I/PIA All IP editors, accounts with fewer than 500 edits, and accounts with less than 30 days tenure are prohibited from editing any page that could be reasonably construed as being related to the Arab-Israeli conflict. This prohibition is preferably enforced by the use of extended confirmed protection, but where that is not feasible, it may also be enforced by reverts, page protections, blocks, the use of pending changes, and appropriate edit filters. Editors who are not eligible to be extended-confirmed may use the Talk: namespace to post constructive comments and make edit requests related to articles within the topic area, provided they are not disruptive. Talk pages where disruption occurs may be managed by any of the above methods. This exception does not apply to other internal project discussions such as AfDs, WikiProjects, noticeboard discussions, etc. --Shrike (talk) 07:28, 27 April 2019 (UTC)
Disruptive editing
[edit]Ok, I've seen your recent edits at noticeboards and hatted the one at NPOVN. This behavior besides being a violation of the Discreationary sanctions is becoming disruptive and I shall likely sanction you if it continues. Stick to issues relating to policy and guidelines, not editors. See WP:AgF. One of the things our sanctions regime, some of which I helped to right, is meant to do is to ensure civil conversations on talk pages. Doug Weller talk 14:27, 27 April 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion
[edit]I declined the a7 you placed on Shohret Hoshur. The article has existed for years and has credible claims of significance sufficient to pass a7. Until you gain more experience, you should not be tagging articles for deletion.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:28, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Jamez42. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Jamez42 (talk) 13:33, 19 June 2019 (UTC)

August 2024
[edit]Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to [2]. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. I would advise you to stay away from Venezuelan politics here, it seems pretty clear you have a strong WP:FRINGE WP:POV on this specific issue. Allan Nonymous (talk) 13:27, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry, I'll use passive voice next time.Viva Nicolás (talk) 13:29, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- You consider a view in mainstream Venezuelan politics WP:FRINGE? I hereby accuse you and a relatively small group of Wikipedians for silencing pro-Chavista Venezuelan voices on Wikipedia.Viva Nicolás (talk) 13:32, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- Look, if you don't want to get in trouble for violating WP:POV just try and relax with the "you're silencing pro-Chavista voices" shtick. Naturally, people are going to be suspicious of your intentions here with a username like "Viva Nicolás". Take this as a friendly word of advice, alright? Cheers. Sisuvia (talk) 17:00, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- probably some sort of edit war might soon break out, I've no idea how that Venezuelan protests article still isn't protected in any way because you might get a lot of this "silencing pro-Chavista voices" nonsense. Nope.NGE (talk) 18:09, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- Here is some earnest advice:
- You need to change your approach. No “hereby accusation” will ever work on Wikipedia. If you think the article has a POV problem, first examine the way the protests are handled in reliable sources (see WP:RS—that doesn’t include advocacy sources). If Wikipedia’s coverage truly deviates in POV from reliable sources’, then there’s room for you to improve the article. If both Wikipedia and reliable sources cover the issue in the same way, then you’ll have to take up your issue with the media, because Wikipedia follows, not leads. ꧁Zanahary꧂ 18:10, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- That also doesn’t include Mint Press. ꧁Zanahary꧂ 18:18, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- And you're not likely to endure for long on Wikipedia with personalization of content disputes like
" I hereby accuse you and a relatively small group of Wikipedians for silencing pro-Chavista Venezuelan voices on Wikipedia."
. See WP:FOC. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 18:30, 2 August 2024 (UTC)

Deprecated sources
[edit]Please carefully read this talk discussion and the links provided, along with the responses to your source suggestions at this ITN talk discussion, and refrain from introducing POV via deprecated sources, as you did at 2024 Venezuelan protests.[3] SandyGeorgia (Talk) 03:57, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- OK, thank you. Viva Nicolás (talk) 03:54, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
August 2024 (2)
[edit]Your edit summary on the article stated "Authoritarianism is a very loosely used word that anyone can use to accuse anyone. Wikipedia is not a platform to rally for the anti-Chavista cause!!!!" [4]
Wikipedia articles should be neutral, but if Reliable Sources describe Maduro as "authoritarian", then the article must reflect that. David O. Johnson (talk) 20:38, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
Edit warring, 3RR, and COI
[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2024 Venezuelan protests. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Please be sure to read WP:3RR, WP:BRD, WP:COI, and stop reinstating content that has been removed by multiple editors.
Your username suggests that you may have a conflict of interest that may make it difficult for you to edit neutrally on the topic of Nicolas Maduro; please read that policy page carefully. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 10:41, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
