Elizabeth Dole...

[edit]

Elizabeth Dole is cited elsewhere as being secretary of transportation between 1983-1987. Page needs correction, but this is not my area of expertise, so I am not comfortable editing without confirmation from another use. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.179.160.71 (talk) 07:09, 1 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Duties

[edit]

Yeah, so it would be nice if someone could add the duties of the Secretary of Transportation, I would but this is my first experience with Wikipedia —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gibson Smiley (talkcontribs) 04:19, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How to find information.

[edit]

My name is Robert Leavell. The reason that I'm sending you this is because I'm looking for information concerning the approximate numbers on how many semi trailer landing gears were repaired on the highway, approximately how much time and money was lost and more throughout the 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Capitalization

[edit]

Note "the United States secretary of transportation" is uncapitalized because "secretary of transportation" is preceded by modifiers "the" and "United States", per MOS:JOBTITLES bullet 3 and table column 2, example 1: "Richard Nixon was the president of the United States." Any proposal for modification to the guideline should be posted at its talk page, WT:MOSBIO. —Eyer (If you reply, add {{reply to|Eyer}} to your message to let me know.) 00:12, 24 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

High speed trains

[edit]

If the us government would’ve been interested in developing high speed trains in America why don’t they help these private investors who are putting in their sweat into their projects. Look at Florida started from one point in Florida already holding by Orlando with plans to go to Tampa . Why can’t we have a HST from NY which is a major city , all the way to Florida. But we need the government to help along. We should all be in this together. With the president’s infrastructure bill let’s help them out. This is a great start to pump up our economy through the jobs that are being created through this project. With trains going at 200 mph people will flood these trains creating a profit for everyone involved. 24.45.117.143 (talk) 01:19, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Electric vehicles

What is your plan to add electric vehicle stations in the USA? 2603:6011:DE40:F6:F1A4:78DD:E57B:9702 (talk) 18:52, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
