A bear for you!

[edit]

I noticed your hard work reverting vandalism and feel like you deserve this. Cmrc23 ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ 02:49, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Happy New Year

Thanks but enough!

[edit]

I appreciate your gratitude but you really don't have to send me a thank-you for every single edit I make to that user's talk page. Largoplazo (talk) 02:51, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop using that photo

[edit]

I haven't approved that photo you keep putting up there. You're welcome to take one from my official website. Thank you. 2603:8080:A401:6800:8580:50D5:362F:6DE (talk) 23:44, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@2603:8080:A401:6800:8580:50D5:362F:6DE: Not to be rude, but Wikipedia doesn't care about your approval. That said, if someone uploads a picture that's usable by Wikipedia (there's licensing requirements that would have to be met), then someone might update the picture in the article. —Eyer (he/him) If you reply, add {{reply to|Eyer}} to your message. 00:02, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This is theft and piracy. The author can take legal action for this. Stop being a dunce. I removed it for you already. :) 2A02:A31A:A3EA:C780:D526:7413:B203:6437 (talk) 12:36, 8 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
According to the person who uploaded the photo File:Tim Z Hernandez 2024 Texas Book Festival.jpg to Wikimedia Commons, he is Larry D. Moore, the photo is his own work, and he has granted a license for its use. Are you claiming that the photo was not in fact taken by him? If it wasn't, anyone who can substantiate the misrepresentation can submit the photo for deletion (not just removal from the article) on the grounds of false attribution. But, unless you're the owner, your own approval has nothing to do with it. At least, not under US law. Largoplazo (talk) 13:40, 8 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to city of Northport, Alabama page

[edit]

The information I removed from the page is based on personal opinion about topics and not fact. Just because an article is cited doesn’t make the opinion true. My thought is that controversial topics should be relegated to a section about controversies rather than the Culture section of the wiki page. 2600:6C58:17F:D8F7:0:0:0:3D (talk) 01:27, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia actually has a policy against having sections for controversies, instead preferring to integrate controversial material into the main body of the article. Regardless, please take this to the article's talk page (not mine) so that interested editors can form a consensus about whether or not the material that you're disputing should remain in the article. —Eyer (he/him) If you reply, add {{reply to|Eyer}} to your message. 01:29, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

OK, you hate Trump. Now stop vandalizing wikipedia pages.

@2A02:A31A:A3EA:C780:D526:7413:B203:6437: My political opinions don't matter. What you've added doesn't have a source. Do you intend to add a source or shall I revert it again? —Eyer (he/him) If you reply, add {{reply to|Eyer}} to your message. 13:03, 8 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, this is a school IP address

[edit]

Hello. I am a current Wikipedia editor who goes to the school that shares this IP address. I would like to apologise for the past actions of kids at this school who have vandalized Wikipedia.
