Comment: All the cited references are for Singh being awarded the Shaurya Chakra. It was one of 15 Shaurya Chakras awarded, and one of 412 awards issued on that night. Clearly being awarded a Shaurya Charka doesn't make him automatically notable needs additional information about Singh's achievements to verify his notability. Assistant Commandant Satendra Singh Yadav, is a serving Central Reserve Police Force officer, of the 2008 Batch Union Public Service Commission, who was awarded the Shaurya Chakra[1][2] by the President of India Droupadi Murmu[3][4] on 9 May 2023.[5] Singh had neutralised a terrorist despite sustaining gunshot wounds[6][7] and being badly injured during a police operation.[8][9]

Satendra Singh, a resident of village Bhikhawas of Alwar district in Rajasthan, did his initial schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Alwar, graduation and post-graduation at University of Rajasthan Jaipur before joining the CRPF as an Assistant Commandant. Trained at the CRPF Academy in Gurgaon, Singh has served in CRPF Valley QAT.
