Submission declined on 24 January 2025 by Ktkvtsh (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

- Comment: This article reads like a work that serves to promote AHEF rather than describing the organization from an outside perspective. The page should show what others have written about AHEF, not what it wants to say about itself. Reconrabbit 20:14, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
American Heritage Education Foundation
[edit]The American Heritage Education Foundation (AHEF) is a 501(c)(3)[1] nonprofit organization based in Houston, Texas, that develops educational resources focused on America’s founding principles, history, and heritage. Established in 1994, AHEF provides free K-12 lesson plans to promote civic understanding. The organization also offers resources on America’s political philosophy, emphasizing the historical role of religious and moral values. AHEF seeks to encourage civic knowledge and engagement among students and the public.
History
[edit]The American Heritage Education Foundation was founded in 1994 by educators and civic leaders to develop educational materials on U.S. history and constitutional principles. Initially, AHEF distributed printed lesson plans to teachers and schools.
Over time, AHEF expanded its reach through partnerships with schools and educational organizations. In 2014, AHEF published The Miracle of America: The Influence of the Bible on the Founding History and Principles of the United States of America for a People of Every Belief[2], written by AHEF President Angela E. Kamrath. This text examines the influence of religious ideas on America’s founding and is supplemented by a blog featuring essays and resources.
Digital Presence
[edit]In the 2010s, AHEF adapted its materials for digital platforms to meet the needs of modern classrooms. The organization’s website includes free lesson plans, articles, and videos, as well as online workshops and webinars designed to support educators teaching civics and history.
Mission
[edit]AHEF’s mission is to provide educational resources that promote knowledge of America’s foundational principles and heritage.
