Approve/enhance articles assistance

[edit]

Hi TagaSanPedroAko, I'm looking for Filipino travelers and mappers in OpenStreetMap to try to check out these articles, hoping to get it approved as an article for Filipinos who have garnered notability in tourism and mapping. Highway signs in the Philippines

[edit]

Hi. Just have to give you kudos for creating these highway signs for AH26 and its routes. I have incorporated them as part of the hwy infoboxes for several road articles through which they pass. I'm wondering if you can create the same for all the Radial Roads and Circumferential Roads in Metro Manila like Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) and Radial Road 7 (R-7). Thanks in advance!--RioHondo (talk) 02:51, 1 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. You can't open or reopen an SPI just by editing it directly unless you're very experienced in doing so, which you obviously are not. Therefore, you should follow the instructions at WP:SPI or, if you prefer, use Twinkle. I fixed the latest malformed report you just made because at least this time you identified an IP that actually had edited the project, but it's your responsibility to follow instructions, not mine to fix it. You can always ask for help if you have trouble. That's far better than making a mess of it. I appreciate that your motives are good. Think of this as constructive advice, not criticism.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:34, 19 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but I will add Twinkle soon, at my preferences.--TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 14:54, 19 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I am not willing to accept edit suggestions citing self-published material and dependent sources. Using dependent sources (for example, adding information of a city using dependent sources, like the city's website) as sources, whether reliable or not, are not acceptable, unless it may be used as a primary source, and may possibly cause issues regarding conflict of interest on the subject.--TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 16:17, 31 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ANI Experiences survey

[edit]

Beginning on November 28, 2017, the Wikimedia Foundation Community health initiative (Safety and Support and Anti-Harassment Tools team) will be conducting a survey to en.wikipedia contributors on their experience and satisfaction level with the Administrator’s Noticeboard/Incidents. This survey will be integral to gathering information about how this noticeboard works - which problems it deals with well, and which problems it struggles with.

The survey should take 10-20 minutes to answer, and your individual responses will not be made public. The survey is delivered through Google Forms. The privacy policy for the survey describes how and when Wikimedia collects, uses, and shares the information we receive from survey participants and can be found here:

If you would like to take this survey, please sign up on this page, and a link for the survey will be mailed to you via Special:Emailuser.

I checked the edit history and I saw that you are one of the people who recently included the list of parishes in the Muntinlupa Article. I think its better not to put it there because other editors tend to put all the churches in muntinlupa in that sub-section (I was also one of those people a few years ago :D). Instead maybe we could include List of Roman Catholic churches in Metro Manila and/or Religion in the Philippines so that those lists need not be placed in the sub-sections of each city. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.206.42.64 (talk) 15:37, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

2019 US Banknote Contest

[edit]
US Banknote Contest
November-December 2019

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.

If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here

Why do you combine AM and FM on the List of radio stations in Metro Manila?

[edit]

Hey User:TagaSanPedroAko, why do you combine AM and FM stations in the List of radio stations in Metro Manila? I want that to separate AM and FM and list it by lowest to highest frequency (i.e. from 87.5 to 108.0 FM and from 530 to 1700 AM). CryingSulfur (talk) 00:26, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@CryingSulfur Look at similar lists as like with US, Canadian and Mexican radio stations. See list of radio stations in California, list of radio stations in Ontario and list of radio stations in Baja California as an example. Like with US stations, PH radio (and TV) station articles are named by call sign: the combined tables place the call sign on first column and the tables are sortable, so, if you want to see the tables sorted by frequency, you better click the column header and it will sort it for you. Whether a station is in AM or FM is already given by using those two in place of kHz or MHz. TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 05:17, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I have recently seen you were a long time ago active in discussing some issues in Philippine English and [[Philippine English vocabulary. Several days ago, a new editor overhauled the Philippine English vocabulary article. The problem was that it was almost unsourced. I have removed some dubious entries and added new entries and citations. Maybe you can check the article and add more or tweak some terms there which were removed during the overhaul, like "coupon bond", for example? Thanks.
