[edit]Hello, I'm CorbieVreccan. I noticed that you added or changed content in the articles, Métis and Mattawa, Ontario, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. In writing about organizations, individuals, businesses or other groups on Wikipedia, third-party, reliable sources are needed. We need something more than what people say about themselves on their own websites. - CorbieVreccan ☊ ☼ 21:51, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
- I've added more sources. However the sources in the previous citations had sources within them. Also the Mattawa reports were developed by two separate independent companies commissioned by MNO, no different than the MMF commissioning "HISTORIC METIS COMMUNITIES OF ONTARIO: AN EVALUATION OF EVIDENCE". - You will find adding any info about Ontario metis will have resistance here...even if you find sources outside the MNO. Best bring things to talk pages first and hope others will agree. It can be very frustrating editing here especially on indigenous topics.

Mattawa, Ontario
[edit]Mattawa, Ontario ....this is odd that they are not willing to mention this ethnic group at all....at least explain the debate. Will take a look this week. Sorry your having such problems with this. Moxy- 09:32, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
Yea it seems to be a very skewed view. To completely omit. I expected this once I saw all the removal of Ontario in the Métis page. I don't understand why the admin is allowing this. Section35rightsholder (talk) 16:31, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
