Hey @RadicalUranium! Thank you so much for this particularly interesting submission... and thanks for the quick barnstar! That made me smile. I made a few copyedits and changed the title from John Baptiste (Utah grave robber) to John Baptiste (grave robber) to be more concise. Your in-line citations were mostly good, from the handful that I checked, but I added a [citation needed] template after one sentence that contained info not in the cited reference. That sort of thing would be a good thing to clean up, especially if you're thinking about nominating the article to the Did You Know section of the main page. Let me know if you have any questions! Oh wow, that is embarrassing, I thought I was using my sandbox, Haha. Thank you so much for letting me know! Also thank you for pointing the incorrect in-line citation out! I will fix that. Thank you for your contributions to human knowledge! RadicalUranium (talk) 14:16, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Undiscussed page move of Homicide of Nikole Bakoles

[edit]

I notice you recently moved the article about the Homicide of Nikole Bakoles to the name Homicide of Nikole Bakoles (Saltair Sally), saying the name was changed for context. Wikipedia has various naming conventions for article titles. Enclosing words in parentheses in a title is normally used to distinguish different article with otherwise identical titles, not provide context. There are also naming conventions about deaths, including how to name articles involving the death of a person. Although not mentioned in these guidelines, the term "Homicide" is consistent with several similar articles, but adding "(Saltair Sally)" to the title is not. Consequently, I have reverted your undiscussed page move. If you disagree with my actions, you are welcome to discuss this at Talk:Homicide of Nikole Bakoles. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 21:51, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That is absolutely okay! Thank you for informing me about this. RadicalUranium (talk) 22:26, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. I also edited the section about Saltair Sally in the article about Great Salt Lake and added a redirect for Saltair Sally that points directly to the article about the Homicide of Nikole Bakoles. These are better ways to provide "context", without renaming an article. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 22:58, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
