Information icon Hello, I'm Belbury. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Quiz, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. An anonymous blog entry at quizgecko.com cannot be considered a reliable source. Belbury (talk) 08:57, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

1-st You welcomed me on Wiki, 2-nd "if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so" and then called me a spammer while I was updating content with fresh and relevant info, as You wrote me to do, from a blog with open authors' names. What is a reliable source for You? May I use Quora, Medium? Oleksandrabar (talk) 17:25, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You can read the reliable source page you just linked to there if you want to know what Wikipedia considers a reliable source to be.
An anonymous blog entry on a commercial website writing about the educational benefits of its own product would fall under WP:QUESTIONABLE. Belbury (talk) 17:38, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A press release from QuizGecko, which you just added to the Quizlet article, is also not a reliable source.
Please take a look over WP:COI if your main goal at Wikipedia is to promote the QuizGecko website. --Belbury (talk) 17:45, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why other can used it and I can't? You didn't let me do so.
Why? Oleksandrabar (talk) 17:52, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know of the situations in those other articles, but WP:PRSOURCE definitely rules it out in your case. Hope this helps. Belbury (talk) 17:54, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, it not helps.
p.s. Rules are same for all?
Wiki is for all? Oleksandrabar (talk) 17:58, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the rules about not being able to add spam links or use press releases as sources apply to all contributors. Belbury (talk) 18:01, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
1) Hey, why link to https://quizlet.com/ is not spam, is it trusted? Did You decide so?

Help me, please. Oleksandrabar (talk) 18:30, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
One more time:

p.s. I wanna to list AI tools, like https://quizgecko.com/ https://quizizz.com/https://www.classpoint.io/https://www.sendsteps.com/en/https://quizgenerator.net/ QuizGenerator is easy and fun to create quizzes. https://www.quiz-maker.com/ and so on ... It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. Hello Belbury.
1) I thought everyone could add content to Wiki, not only You.
2) I'm new here. Sorry for that, but as for me, "Wordly Wise" is less fit for Quizlet than Classpoint, Quizgecko... Check on Google, what is quizlet, its competitors/relevant companies.
Content about AI is not up to date! There can't be fresh data on what Wiki calls "trusted sources", as it's a commercial product. I'm trying to fix it. 88.155.180.158 (talk) 17:15, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
