Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Meteora (album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Campbell. Hi Mike- I left a hidden comment on the article, but you may have missed it. "Per WP:NFCC, each sample requires a separate, specific rationale for each use. Per WP:SAMPLE, they should be no more than 64kbps and 30 secs/10% of the song (whichever is shorter). 300 px should be fine for album covers, and the rationales should be filled out- Template:Album cover fur may be useful. Is the second cover really necessary?" So, the issues to look into:

  1. Does each music sample have a separate, specific rationale for this use, as is required by the non-free content criteria?
  2. Is each music sample no more than 64kbps?
  3. Is each music sample no more than 30 seconds/10% of the original song's length, whichever is shorter?
  4. While you're at it, do you need every music sample, or could some be removed without loss to the article?
  5. Are your album covers no more than 300 by 300 px?
  6. Do your album covers have full, detailed and appropriate rationales?
  7. Are multiple album covers really necessary?

If you have any questions, let me know on my talk page! Josh Milburn (talk) 17:04, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Golu- concerning the album covers, we currently have two non-free covers; not only are they basically the same, which means that using both may run into problems with NFCC#3, but there is a recurring worry with multiple album covers anyway. While we generally hold that a single album cover meets the NFCC in the article about that album, this does not extend to two or more album covers, so we have to ask if the use of a second album cover is really adding anything to the article. That's the primary worry. The second worry is that, even if the images are permissible, the use could be improved; the lead image is 320 by 320 pixels when we normally say that 300 by 300 pixels is as big as we should be going (not the biggest problem in the world!) and the rationale on the second image has a few "NA"s, which is not ideal. Linkin Park on Himos

[edit]

Hi! I'm interested to know where did you get the information about how many people attended on Himos [1]. I heard that there were place for 15 000 people. --Stryn (talk) 18:46, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stryn, if the info is wrong then frankly go ahead and correct it. I had the knowledge that the venue was 95% full, so I surfed on internet to get the total capacity, took 95% of it and then took the nearest round figure. The same is done with others. Mike:Golu · [ Confidential message ] 09:01, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea of the correct numbers, and it's not released on any websites AFAIK (but many have asked on FB, still no answer). In my opinion we should not add any numbers if they are not released anywhere. It can be anything between 5000 and 15000. --Stryn (talk) 12:47, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Stryn, I guess you're right. There's no use of those numbers unless there is a valid reference for them. Mike:Golu · [ Confidential message ] 07:42, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Darker Than Blood Remixes

[edit]

Hey, man. Long time no see. Anyway, I want you to do something for me, and it's this: Just like the remix EP article on A Light That Never Comes, a new remix EP article needs to be put on Darker Than Blood. It's called Darker Than Blood Remixes, which was released on August 28, 2015 through Ultra Music and Dim Mak. If you can, put it on there with resources. You can find them anywhere. I'd do it myself, but I can't since I have no internet for my laptop. Give me a heads up when you put it on "Darker Than Blood". It's awesome! There's no need for a new article about the remix EP. Thanks. ;) Skylar3214 (talk) 06:14, 17 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:Machine Shop Records requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page's talk page, where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Because you are the one wanting to expand the page. If another user wanted to, they would have done so. Per WP:BURDEN, it is the responsibility of the user who wants to add the information to source it. It is not another user's reponsibility, and they are not obligated to help you out if they do not wish. Some users tag problems. That's what I did here. Ss112 08:02, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I didn't even see your message on my talk page until today; I only saw the barnstar another user gave me. Yeah, I think the sources are better now, so the refimprove tag can probably be removed. As for the "reliable sources" tag, I'm not sure. There's still a heavy reliance on YouTube and Facebook links. The article US-To-Europe Tour has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unsourced and likely fails any notability guideline

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Notice

The article Instrumental Album: The Rising Tied has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable album. Sources are all unreliable

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
