Please do not try to recreate articles that have been deleted for WP:BLP reasons. You *must* have reliable sources written by someone other than the subject. Nobody can convince you that the performer's own web site is unacceptable to prove any biographical facts, but that's the way it is here. EdJohnston (talk) 20:23, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced articles about people

[edit]

You've just created Liza Jacqueline, another unsourced article about a living person. This one too qualifies for deletion under WP:BLPPROD. Please be aware that you can be blocked for WP:Disruptive editing if this continues. You can ask at WP:RSN for feedback about quality of sources. Neither source you have used in Liza Jacqueline is adequate to prevent its deletion. If you are unaware of our WP:BLP policy, please ask for advice. Proposed deletion of Suzy Myers Jackson

[edit]

The article Suzy Myers Jackson has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Actress with questionable notability with no reliable refs.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. You shouldn't start both a PROD and an AFD simultaneously, it confuses the system; also, to raise an AfD needs more than just creating the AfD page. I have deleted the AfD page you created, to let the PROD proceed. If it is removed, and you then want to nominate the page at AfD, the instructions are at WP:AFDHOWTO, and you should also read WP:BEFORE. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 22:01, 30 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Axel: The Biggest Little Hero credit

[edit]

I just checked the Axel: The Biggest Little Hero credits and Rebecca Soler is not listed there, although her peers such as Lisa Ortiz, Veronica Taylor, Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld are. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 13:43, 16 July 2015 (UTC) Jessica Paquet is her alias. And imdb say it; as Jessica Paquet.--Maxie1hoi (talk) 15:20, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There's no Jessica Paquet listed in the credits either. I've got the movie on Netflix and it's not there. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 16:48, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, now I have delete it the name Jessica. And today I ask it Rebecca again it that she voice Stella or not. Or can you ask ik to her when she don't answer my question?--Maxie1hoi (talk) 19:23, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If she had a role in it, she must have either used another alias or the role wasn't big enough to get credit for it. If she was mistakenly left out, then you'd have to find proof (Twitter/blog/Facebook, or news article) that she said she wasn't credited in the show but voiced a certain character. But I don't think that's the case, especially with the other Walla loops that include her peers. IMDb is no good for a reference because it is user-edited. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 21:20, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Also, asking her directly whether she uses a particular alias is rather risky as most VAs do not want their aliases to be outed. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 21:23, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
But can I add it Stella to her wikipedia. I ask it everytime but she never answer it my message on twitter. I think she will be anonym it with her rol Stella.--Maxie1hoi (talk) 19:08, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
When did you ask her? I don't see it on any of her tweets in July. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 19:52, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Previuosly month and this month 1x I ask it her. But I have deleting my askings. Do you have twitter. Or you can contact it Duart film and video, on phone or mail. Then we know it.--Maxie1hoi (talk) 19:59, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Phone or email won't work. That would be original research. You'll have to wait until she posts a credit under her alias on her webpage. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 21:59, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
ms Soler is not active on her webpage. I have mail it duart. But why not contact it in phone? You can it that is the easyst searching for her.--Maxie1hoi (talk) 09:01, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rebecca Soler confusing reference

[edit]

I don't understand what this reference is about.

<ref>https://twitter.com/rsolervo Check it her twitter profile then she mention it her birth day (since sept. 5 2015)</ref>

The profile itself gives the following information:

Rebecca Soler @rsolervo NYC based actress, voice over artist & Executive Producer of the webseries With Friends Like These. Lover of books, cheese, fashion & football. rebeccasoler.com Joined August 2011

It does not list her birthday, so why are you citing the general account? If you need to cite particular tweets where she posts "Today is my birthday" then cite those specifically. Unfortunately it is not clear what day it is as she has only mentioned it once for August 25, 2015 [2] and semi-acknowledged a birthday greeting from her friend on August 24, 2014 (tweets posted on article). Viva Piñata (TV series)

[edit]

Hi, your explanation for restoring this content is incoherent. I mean this is beter. not every character you can now see the voice on this (voice by) No idea what that means. As previously mentioned, see MOS:TV#Cast. We don't need two sections to cover the cast. Either we use a Character (voiced by ____) format, or we use an Actor - name of character format. We do not need two sections to do the job of one. It just clutters up the page. Also, per WP:BRD, if you are reverted, it is your duty to open a discussion on the article's talk page, not to restore the disputed content. In this case, consensus already exists for how the Character list should be presented. Please do not resubmit this formatting again unless you have achieved consensus on the article's talk page, as it will be considered disruptive. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:15, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I mean that when you doing this: (voiced by), that you can not see this section on every character. when you doing this: cast that is beter.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Maxie1hoi (talkcontribs)
Again, your answer is incoherent; I have no idea what you are proposing. Secondly, you are again editing against consensus and it's clear you haven't bothered to read MOS:TV#Cast where it says very clearly:
Information about the cast and characters should be presented in one of two ways:
  • Cast list: In a section labeled "Cast list" or "Cast and characters", we indicate the name of the cast member, followed his or her noteworthy role(s).
Harrison Ford as Han Solo: The pilot of the Millennium Falcon
  • Characters list: In a section labeled "List of characters", we indicate noteworthy characters, including the name of the portrayer, followed by a brief description of the character.
Han Solo (portrayed by Harrison Ford): The pilot of the Millennium Falcon
To avoid redundancy, use only one method for delivering this information.
Since consensus already exists for how the cast content should be presented, the burden is yours to open a discussion on the article's talk page and seek a local consensus, not to restore the disputed version. If you restore your preferred version again without a consensus, I will suspend your editing privileges for edit warring. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:45, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Musdan77 (talk) 19:34, 27 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

To clarify, Maxie1hoi, your edits here, here and here do not meet a number of established guidelines. You've misspelled words, you've improperly capitalized words that should not be capitalized, you've added wikilinks to headings, which is not appropriate, and you've refactored date ranges that are inconsistent with MOS:DATERANGE. When you are reverted by another editor, per WP:BRD, the burden is yours to open a discussion on the article's talk page to seek consensus for the changes. You did not do that, and instead kept reinstating problematic content. Familiarize yourself with our Manual of Style and the other linked guidelines. If you keep submitting problematic content, your editing privileges will be interrupted. Edit warring is an especially quick way to wind up blocked, and you've already demonstrated a propensity for problematic recurring edits. Incompetence is another way to wind up blocked. Okay. But there is no a zpecial there is a special there is no a 15 but a 2015.--Maxie1hoi (talk) 14:58, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Your edit here is again not consistent with MOS:DATERANGE. We present date ranges as 2011–15, not 2011–2015. The only time we use a four-digit second year is if we cross a century, i.e. 1998–2002. I urge you to quickly become familiar with MOS:DATERANGE. If you submit this problematic date formatting again, you will be blocked. Note also WP:TVUPCOMING. We do not use "–present" in section headings. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:44, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why deleting? I add it refrence and more.. what's the problem?--Maxie1hoi (talk) 16:16, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Maxie1hoi, the article was tagged for deletion because it states this person merely overdubs voices in a few tv series. Because of the millions of people who do overdubbing work, this is not in itself an assertion of significance, IMO. Although references do not have anything to do with the speedy tag, please note that all biographies (especially of living people) require independent reliable sources. Self-published information, such as Resumes, Facebook and Linkedin are not valid references. Even if the the article were not deleted for notability, the lack of any significant coverage in independent sources would still be problematic. I note that this problem has been mentioned to you previously. I suggest you review the Wikipedia guidelines on WP:BLP, WP:V and WP:RS. [edit]

Hi there, I've noticed some problems with some of the grammatical changes you've made. In this edit you introduced a sentence fragment, "Voiced the character of Layla in the English version of Winx Club made by Cinélume, and The Concubine in Prince of Persia." If English is not your primary language, you should probably avoid making grammatical changes like this, because you are far too likely to introduce problems than repairs. Please consider sticking to changes that don't require much language expertise. Alternatively you can also contribute at one of the Wikipedias in your native language. A tag has been placed on Haven Paschall requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on List of international Totally Spies! voice actors requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please don't recreate this article. If you'd like to contest the deletion, you may go to Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion and follow the process there. I doubt that you'd accomplish anything with the article that was present just a few minutes ago. The first source listed was just an actor listing from a source that was not independent of the subject. And the second source didn't even mention Kaplan. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Winx Club. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Maxie1hoi: Two things--I don't hear Lillis mention the character Amaryl in the video link you added. As far as I can tell, she only mentions Faragonda and "various students". If I'm missing something, let me know. Until then, the content has been removed. Point 2: While you had the good sense to reword "she say it Amaryl! On twitter she was not sure. but u don't know what people mean it" from the reference, the second text you provided was also unsuitable for inclusion: "Rachael Lillis talk it about other role's oustide pokemon!" Proper nouns like Twitter and Pokemon should be capitalized, not written "twitter" and "pokemon". There is no good reason for you to use exclamation marks (!) in articles, and we don't use sloppy texting shortcuts like "u" instead of "you". The grammar issues are also problematic. Content must be written in proper encyclopedic tone, and that includes in references. Further, a strong reference should include a direct quote and if you're citing a video, providing an approximate time when the person starts talking about the thing you're referencing, would be very helpful. Template:Cite AV media provides for both options. If English is not your primary language, you might want to consider posting edit requests on article talk pages, or ask editors who are familiar with the subject to help you. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:06, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, then I hear a mistake! So u say it that she say it: I did Faragonda and various students on wc. but i don't hear that! Only Faragonda. And the other reason that I add it Amaryl was that: Amaryl's voice like so the Misty of pokemon! And the comment to you Lucy comment to: She say it on twitter that she played Lucy but why she not mention it in her demo reel?--Maxie1hoi (talk) 19:14, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
03:59: "[Um], I've done Faragonda, and various [uh] students on Winx Club." (crowd hoots) "Faragonda...Yeah, Faragonda's kind of a Mrs. Garrett/Dumbledore lovechild, and...[um]. And yeah, we made a lot of jokes about that." I'm adding the "uh"s and "um"s in case it helps you better understand what she's saying. She then goes on to talk about Slayers Next. As for the remainder of your comments, it's not your job to ascribe roles to actors just because you think they sound like another character that the actor played. That's speculation, which constitutes original research. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:23, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Melise de Winter

[edit]

The article Melise de Winter has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Machine-translated article; promotional in tone with very little real content; lots of links to artist's social media websites, with one news article which mentions the artist along with a list of others.

Hoi Maxie,
--Slashme (talk) 15:35, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Haven Burton moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Haven Burton, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Hey there, I just redirected the page List of Brugklas episodes to the parent article Brugklas, because it didn't have real content in it, and I think the Brugklas article is small enough that it could host the list of episodes. If you disagree with this, lets talk about it :) menaechmi (talk) 22:26, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Britt Scholte requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  Masum Ibn Musa  Conversation 04:30, 24 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Rebecca Soler shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Additionally, you are reinstating material that violates the BLP policy. Consider this a final warning for that. You can see the discussion page for further details. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 13:59, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Maxie1hoi. If you revert again at Rebecca Soler you will most likely be blocked. Use the article talk page to get consensus for what should be done. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 16:30, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Priscilla Knetemann moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Priscilla Knetemann, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
