Hi, thank you for the welcome! Kurnahusa (talk) 00:18, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just FYI: With this edit you removed the bold formatting from the target of a redirect against the guidance described at MOS:BOLDREDIRECT (After following a redirect: Terms which redirect to [a] ... section are commonly bolded when they appear ... at the beginning of another section (for example, subtopics treated in their own sections). See also WP:R#ASTONISH. Please keep this guidance in mind in the future. Thank you! —Locke Coletc 15:58, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I'll be sure to remember this :) Kurnahusa (talk) 16:46, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Protecting your own talk page

[edit]

Hi Kurnahusa, sorry to see you're the target of such obnoxious and idiotic abuse. Did you know you can also request an edit protection of your own talk page? I myself also had to deal with, well, complete morons, so my user talk page is edit protected as well. If you need help, I'll try to help out. Thanks, and happy editing. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 05:38, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, an edit protection would help. However this particular editor may come back after it has expired, so I’m not sure. Kurnahusa (talk) 05:43, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Requested on your behalf. It might take some time, but I feel confident any admin seeing this will probably agree. Stay vigilant. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 05:48, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Contact me or ask another admin for assistance if this continues. Johnuniq (talk) 06:17, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please use edit summary "rvv" exactly like that and with no other commentary when reverting nonsense. Johnuniq (talk) 06:29, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! I was trying to "communicate" with that editor but I figured that's not going to work. Kurnahusa (talk) 06:34, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. If they persist, a longer edit protection might be in order. And like Johnuniq said, it's best to not engage such volatile harassment beyond what is necessary. Don't feed the trolls! soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 09:54, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:55, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
