Hi @Ivebeenhacked and @Aviationwikiflight. I suspect this registration is HL7406. Since I can't find any data about Korean Air 707 with registration HL7426. Moreover, HL7406 is the only 707 has number 6 at the end of the aircraft registration number Tô Ngọc Khang (talk) 06:27, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Not sure but I feel like this is HL7425. It would probably be better to ask the Flickr User. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 06:52, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- I found some photos of HL7425 and I see that it has "CARGO" on the aircraft. This aircraft doesnt't have. Tô Ngọc Khang (talk) 06:55, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Then I'm not sure. But, again, it would probably be better if you ask the Flickr User. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 06:57, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

Is there any particular reason not to use the most recent image of the aircraft? I have been searched for various photos and uploaded them on Commons, and every time they get replaced with the most recent one here.--Namoroka (talk) 08:50, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Well, I don't see any good reason why we should replace an image. Sure, the image you added was newer but there was no good reason given for the change. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 08:52, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- I think it's a quite good quality photo taken in Jeju, the hub of the Jeju Air, only four days before the accident with oreum as background.--Namoroka (talk) 09:11, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- That is an opinion, and one which I disagree with. I still fail to see how replacing an image would benefit the article in any way. To me, the photo which has the best quality between the two is probably the current one. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 09:18, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- I respect your opinion. Since it was taken just a few seconds before the airplane took off, it is somewhat blurry compared to current one which is just on the ground. Then it would be much better if you leave any message on my talk page or article's talk page before reverting, because I clearly mentioned on article's talk page that I just changed the image and nobody questioned.--Namoroka (talk) 09:37, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Apologies that I didn't respond on the talk page since I did not notice it. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 10:00, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

Flight 191
[edit]Hi there! I notice that you removed the distinguish links from Delta Air Lines Flight 191 and American Airlines Flight 191, with the notes "redundant" and "unlikely to be confused with", respectively. Would you mind terribly clarifying further? I could see someone wandering over here looking simply for "flight 191 crash" and not necessarily knowing that there were multiple 191s that crashed, with these two being arguably the most notable (and certainly the largest). Thanks much! NekoKatsun (nyaa) 17:02, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- If Delta Air Lines Flight 191 and American Airlines Flight 191 are, arguably, the most notable and well-known air crashes, then there should be no problem distinguishing them. Whomever the guy who was simply looking for "flight 191 crash" would need to see the disambiguation page of Flight 191, not DL191 or AAL191 articles since those links linked to each other, not to the disambiguation page. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 18:39, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- An excellent point. Thanks for the extra detail! NekoKatsun (nyaa) 20:06, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
United Airlines Flight 232
[edit]Thanks for correcting my edit to the page; I see my mistake. You said sources aren't necessary in the lead, but wouldn't it be better to have one since it's not mentioned anywhere else in the article? The ASN page for United Airlines occurrences seems like it would be helpful. Also, would "As of 2024, it was the deadliest single-aircraft accident in the history of United Airlines" be more accurate? Beckriver (talk) 21:36, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hello there, it wouldn't necessarily be better to add citations at the lead section but there are no guidelines preventing those actions. I certainly do think that adding "
As of 2024, it was the deadliest single-aircraft accident in the history of United Airlines
" would be more accurate. I'd modify it to 2025, though. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 09:40, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
Sriwijaya Air Flight 182
[edit]Thank you for reverting the unsourced changes to flight crew names in this article. FYI, the anonymous editor who made this change has also made a series of similar unsourced changes to crew names in other aircrash articles, so I've posted a Level 1 vandalism warning to their page, and I think we all need to keep an eye on them. Carguychris (talk) 16:34, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for warning him. I've already posted a level 2 unsourced change warning. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 16:54, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
Hello, Ivebeenhacked. One of your edits, specifically on Metrojet Flight 9268, added information saying that there were no injuries on board MEA Flight 304 after a tailstrike occurred. The cited source, specifically from Aviation Safety Network, does not include information that there were no injuries on board Flight 304. There was also no edit summary in your edit. UdexTG[talk page] 20:33, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- That was actually a glitch. I do not remember changing that specific sentence but I do remember changing the information in the infobox. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 20:39, 17 January 2025 (UTC)

Codeshare agreement between LO & UA
[edit]Hi, want to say the codeshare agreement between LOT POlish Airlines and United Airlines has ended at the end of 2023. [1][2][3]. United Airlines has been removed from the "codesharing partners" for almost 2 years but don't know who added it back. Thus, I make sure the information in the article is correct. Or any update from you is about the resumption of codeshare between these two airlines?--Penguin Shido (talk) 12:10, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
- I understand. But you still removed United Airlines from the codeshare section without any explanation, that's why I've reverted your edit saying "Unexplained Content Removal". Anyway, thanks for reaching out to me, though. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 16:05, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

Kansas City Int'l Airport Accident addition
[edit]Hello. You added Continental Airlines Flight 12 incident 7/1/1965 to KC International Airport recently. That incident happened at Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport, a seperate facility that was Kansas City's main airport until KC International opened in late 1972. Please check, Wheeler is where it occurred and it is in the Accidents and Incidents section in that article. Wanted to discuss before I revert that. 1966 Japan Air Lines Convair 880 crash
[edit]Hi @Ivebeenhacked. Can you translate article 1966 Japan Air Lines Convair 880 crash from Deutsch or Japanese to English ? Thank you ! Tô Ngọc Khang (talk) 15:04, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
- Sure, I'll do it the next day. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 15:28, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Tô Ngọc Khang. I'm super sorry for the delay but I've finally made the article. Here it is. I'll be hard at work to find as many reliable sources to add to the article. Thank you for your patience. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 04:36, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
USAir Flight 427's tail at it's accident site shows it was using the livery that was used after the livery shown in the photo of the accident aircraft in 1991. In other words, USAir no longer used that livery by 1994. 2603:8080:BC00:3CF4:9ED:4955:8F4:97E8 (talk) 06:51, 26 January 2025 (UTC)

1966 Japan Air Lines Convair 880 crash moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to 1966 Japan Air Lines Convair 880 crash. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and these sources need to be secondary as the article relies only on databases.. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Aviationwikiflight (talk) 07:50, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
Removing warning templates
[edit]Hello, you just removed several warning templates I posted on an IP's talk page. You mentioned a glitch in your edit summary - I don't understand; can you explain? Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 20:17, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- So you gave multiple level 1 warnings to that IP user so I thought it was a glitch but you purposefully did that. Sorry about that. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 20:20, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, they were for more than one type of issue, and I often find it useful to quickly demonstrate there have been multiple offenses by the same user (especially if it looks like I'll need to request the user be blocked). Cheers, Jessicapierce (talk) 20:24, 29 January 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Special:Diff/1272848799/1272862984: I can't tell if you are challenging this fact, or believe it could be challenged by someone, or just adding the cite tag. Recommend use of |reason=
in this and other tags (all tags support it) so it's more clear and has more chance of being resolved. -- GreenC 15:43, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
