Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:56, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You didn't sign your AFD deletion nomination. Did you post it to the daily AFD log? Why did you set up an AFD and then tag the article for speedy deletion? Please work on improving articles. Liz Read! Talk! 03:00, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Indiana's Football,
You haven't even been editing for a full day, please do not get involved in tagging articles for deletion until you have a LOT more editing experience and knowledge of Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Unless you are a returning editor who has been blocked, you are jumping into areas that are unsuitable for very new editors. If you have questions, please bring them to the Teahouse. Liz Read! I see now that my AfD for David Weild IV was wrong due to WP:ZEALOUS. I apologize, but that's experience. I noticed Article was created by banned User:Jeremy112233, but now see that even in that case page could be rewritten. Also I noticed the vandalism by User:Balabology on the article.
