Hi there, i’d like to clarify a few things having spoke with some technicians regarding this. So I believe what you can see is the device these were edited on and you mentioned they were both the same. The way in which school managed devices operate (iPads, PC’s, iPhones etc) is they all have the same iP address and technical addresses so they can all be linked back to the network/system. This does also mean on most school PC’s you can have something logged in and it will transfer to another user due to the nature of the system set-up. Having spoke with a technician today, we were able to locate the user by finding the username it was associated with on the School PC. This was a junior pupil who is undertaking the junior computing science which involves coding. The management of the school and me as a senior pupil have spoke with him regarding the reputation of the school and the how to conduct himself on the internet. I am as previously stated happy to learn more about Wikipedia, which I was trying to achieve yesterday. The IP address that was banned yesterday was one of the schools network. (That is also something we discussed) I thank you both/all for your continued dialogue and look forward to your reply! Many thanks! Haksataylor (talk) 21:04, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Confirmed sockpuppetry. Your block is based on more than just your IP address and device and is appropriate. Yamla (talk) 09:53, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
