DYK for Kekerengu

On 21 June 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Kekerengu, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the sheep-farming founder of Kekerengu in New Zealand became an international fugitive? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kēkerengū. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Kekerengu), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Well, that was interesting, Generalissima. I've never seen a linked article that was not the bolded DYK get so much attention from so many different editors. In the 24 hours that this was up, Joseph Tetley was worked on by nine logged in editors, plus a few IP editors. Before you started on the Kekerengu article, the Tetley article looked quite sad. Look at it now and it's in a completely different state. I've just had a go myself and found many faults with the Prow bio; that's surprising because that website is run by a group of libraries and they generally get things right. In fact, the article has grown in size enough that it meets DYK requirements under 5x expansion. I'll nominate it. Schwede66 05:57, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
@Schwede66: There is, by the way, a biography of Tetley you might have access to if you want to go for a GA here. Generalissima (talk) (it/she) 16:52, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
Oh, I had not spotted that. Thanks! Schwede66 19:34, 22 June 2024 (UTC)

Excellent work! Feel free to put your articles up on Wikipedia:WikiProject Oceania/The 10,000 Challenge!♦ Dr. Blofeld 19:06, 21 June 2024 (UTC)

@Dr. Blofeld: Oh thank you for alerting me of this! Question, can I add articles I've made previously about NZ stuff to this? Like, is there a specific time frame that's eligible? Generalissima (talk) (it/she) 19:37, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
Sure, any created since it started, up to you! I always love seeing articles like yours on the main page and challenges as it keeps me excited about the project! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 19:49, 21 June 2024 (UTC)

This user has been held in solitary confinement.

Is this userbox a joke, or did this really happen to you? I'm so sorry if it's true! Zanahary 07:11, 22 June 2024 (UTC)

@Zanahary: I forgot to respond here! Yes, it did really happen to me. It wasn't for a very extended period of time luckily, but US jails can be pretty dang cruel to people arrested at protests or demonstrations. Generalissima (talk) (it/she) 18:49, 24 June 2024 (UTC)

Hi Generalissima! I think I can deliver on this one - it looks like a really fun project, and you've provided plenty of time to get something comprehensive down. I would've taken the Hokusai one, but I'm more fluent in Russian than I am Japanese and I'm getting quite tired of having to rely on translation. Should be working on this throughout the next few months at most? joeyquism (talk) 20:09, 23 June 2024 (UTC)

Generalissima, this review has now been open for some weeks, with no comments for me to action. Obviously the shiny new GARC mechanism depends completely on all participants for its functioning in little circles of collaborating editors, so it'd be appreciated if you could make some time for your review.
