Hi. When you recently edited Sweeter (album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page One Tree Hill (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi, do you mind if I add the article Gang Bang (song) to the WP:DYK queue? I think that a fact, like Tarantino's inspiration, would be eligible for the Main Page. Tell me what do you think. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 17:00, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

Jennifer Lopez

Hi! I would like to thankyou so much for your contributions to Get Right and Hold You Down. It's so great that you added content to pages that were neglected. I was wondering (if you wanted to) if there were any other possible Jennifer Lopez song/album articles you would want to work on? You just seem to be very good digging up old information. Also you should join the Wikipedia:WikiProject Jennifer Lopez. I just dropped by to say thanks and keep up the great work :) −Arrekea(Talk) 11:30, 28 April 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I would love to. I will edit more J.Lo articles too. Thank you so much, I am so happy. And yes, I would love to join the Wikipedia:WikiProject Jennifer Lopez. FanofPopMusic (talk) 17:53, 28 April 2012 (UTC)

Honestly, you are like magical! It's amazing how you are able to dig up this info for songs such as Hold It Don't Drop It and I'm Glad. Your edits are so much appreciated :) Thanks for joining, you are an amazing addition. Just wondering, would you consider helping me edit an album page (Brave (Jennifer Lopez album)) with me? It's shocking and i feel it we team up we can do a great job. −Arrekea(Talk) 06:55, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Christina-aguilera-hope-for-haiti-now.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Christina-aguilera-hope-for-haiti-now.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 06:45, 15 May 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Nicki minaj Pound The Alarm OfficialCover.png)

Thanks for uploading File:Nicki minaj Pound The Alarm OfficialCover.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:32, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Alanis-morissette-angel-guardian.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Alanis-morissette-angel-guardian.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:05, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Edits to Lotus

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Lotus (Christina Aguilera album). Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. WP:ALBUMS/CRITICAL emphasizes keeping a neutral point of view and considering the notability of a review source, and your addition to the article of nonreputable review sources gives the impression that you are not. Per WP:STICKTOSOURCES:

"Best practice is to research the most reliable sources on the topic and summarize what they say in your own words, with each statement in the article attributable to a source that makes that statement explicitly. Source material should be carefully summarized or rephrased without changing its meaning or implication. Take care not to go beyond what is expressed in the sources, or to use them in ways inconsistent with the intention of the source, such as using material out of context. In short, stick to the sources."

Adding hidden comments throughout the article defending your position is not adhering to guidelines, it's pushing your personal interpretation and unsubstantiated claims about the topic. Dan56 (talk) 16:24, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

BTW, your addition here of genres were not supported by the source you cited. The source needs to explicitly say that this is the genre of the album, not that the artist "dips into" so and so on songs like, etc. The review sources from Allmusic and Billboard explicitly say that this is a "pop album", so I replaced them. Do not understand why you reverted that change. Dan56 (talk) 16:43, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Lotus (Christina Aguilera album). Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 19:21, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

At this point, you should consider defending your position at this talk page entry, because your edits seriously contravene the guidelines I've cited over and over again. Do not restore your changes for the sake of getting your point across. Dan56 (talk) 19:31, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

The Score Magazine

You're one of the few established editors that has used The Score Magazine as a source. What do you know about it? Do you feel it's a reliable source? --Ronz (talk) 17:51, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited I Won't Give Up, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages The Time of My Life and David Cook (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Song Articles

Hi! Could you make an article about Save Me From Myself and Get Mine, Get Yours? O think those songs have enough material to make an article for themselves. --Watquaza (talk) 18:59, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

Little Things

Thank you for your contrib to Little Things (One Direction song), I appreciate it. Because the article is about a song performed by a British act we use British English and British styling of dates: Date- Month- Year. In the citation webs we use this styling of dates. Thank you again! Regards —AdabowtheSecond 19:34, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

December 2012

Please keep a neutral point of view when editing articles, which you did not do at Lotus (Christina Aguilera album). Adding undue weight to minority views breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 01:47, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

I explained this to you before here (which you apparantely disregarded and did not comment at the article's talk page before here, which you were invited to, reached a consensus). You would not be adding those reviews had they been anything but positive, and you know it. Per WP:STICKTOSOURCE, "the most reliable sources on a topic should be researched and reflected in an article". Notalbe reviewers are validated by their use by WP:ALBUMS/REVSITE, Metacritic, or AnyDecentMusic? aggregate sites. You're also poorly writing bloated prose and quotes instead of succintly paraphrasing the criticism. The album received mostly mixed reviews. Please deal with that, as you had your chance to comment before and chose not to. Dan56 (talk) 02:00, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Onemorenightvideo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Onemorenightvideo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:02, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Climax-Video.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Climax-Video.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 23:43, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
