Please help me with...How can I find pages that were removed from a category? I don’t know what pages were removed, just that they were removed, and I cannot figure out if there’s a tool or something that can help me locate them.
Dohvahkiin (talk) 06:31, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
- I don't believe there is a way to find pages that are no longer in a category, as categories are attached to(and removed from) the articles themselves. You could try searching for edit summaries that might indicate a category being removed, but that's not all-encompassing as users might not be that specific with their edit summaries. 331dot (talk) 07:17, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
- The "Recent changes" page has "Category changes" as one of its available filters. With it turned on, you can see the entries where the software notes that a page has been added or removed from a category. This means there is a stream somewhere that a tool could search for removals from your category of interest. You might try your question at WP:VPT to see if you can elicit the interest of someone who knows how to construct such a query - it's much more advanced wizardry than I know how to do. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 08:03, 31 August 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Does this help? However, I have no idea where to place it.Tintor2 (talk) 17:33, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Tintor2: That source isn’t a reliable source as per http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Video_games/Sources. One of the reliable sources listed here may be on the Judgment article already, so I’d look through those first.Dohvahkiin (talk) 22:26, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
- How about this? Also, I don't know if you are interested but I kind of thinking about nominating Takayuki Yagami to GA. I'm waiting first for the guild to copyedit it. Be bold to edit if you find any issue. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 00:15, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
