Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 14:06, 17 January 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Hi DannamEmpire! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 18:48, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
Tang dynasty map
[edit]Tang dynasty is a featured article: often, this means its content has been the subject of intensive discussions based on sources, especially the most visible content in the lead section and infobox. The present map on this particular article happens to be the subject of particularly strong consensus, which you will see in the talk page and its archives of previous discussions. You have provided no details why you feel these additions are improvements or corrections, and your replacement is also completely unsourced, and wastes an egregious amount of space by picturing the entirely or Eurasia. Two maps is frankly unnecessary clutter at the top of this article, also. Thank you. Remsense ‥ 论 19:47, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
- What the hell? Don't you read about history? Why restore the article to the original? The Tang Dynasty expanded almost all of China around 661 or 660 AD; parts of Vietnam, Manchuria, Mongolia, and Tibet; and a large area in Central Asia? That includes the protected area??? - I've told you what the issues are here. I have discussed the actual history to death in discussions like these, and will not do so further unless you want to indicate how the material conflicts with specific passages of reliable sources, specifically the ones that are cited in the article and on the image description page. If you have further questions about our content policies, let me know. Remsense ‥ 论 19:54, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

Republic of Cochinchina (Autonomous) moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Republic of Cochinchina (Autonomous). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has too many problems of language or grammar and it consists of machine-generated text. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. estar8806 (talk) ★ 01:42, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
