Edits relating to Dissident Irish republican campaign, as well as other Troubles related articles, are under a 1-revert-restriction, meaning no more than 1 revert in a 24 hour period. This applies to your edits relating to the Dissident Irish republican campaign at List of ongoing armed conflicts, which have been explained as incorrect at being Talk:List of ongoing armed conflicts#Dissident Irish republican campaign. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 5 days for Logged-out editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/D10s Maradona. It looks like you have been attempting to create some new articles, so the edit warring and your violations of our WP:SOCK policy are disappointing. This block might be lifted if you can propose how to fix these problems in the future. Your complete failure to use talk pages makes things harder. EdJohnston (talk) 16:58, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I made major changes with added sources, so I don't understand why you blocked me. Instead of blocking others from canceling my changes, block me ??? Hahaha !!! Okay, so if I don't add sources, that's not okay, but if I add them anyway it's not okay ???

To begin with I suggest you read Talk:List of ongoing armed conflicts#Dissident Irish republican campaign which details the incorrect information you kept adding to one article, and that only details problems with one entry on that article when you edited information relating to many entries on the list. Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Jalisco New Generation Cartel, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 11:54, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. An article you recently created, Nuova Camorra Organizzata—Nuova Famiglia feud, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

The page Los Zetas-Gulf Cartel Civil War during the Mexican drug war has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://ucdptestweb.pcr.uu.se/nonstate/14337, https://alpererdem1.wordpress.com/2019/12/01/the-beginning-of-the-nightmare-the-great-war-between-zetas-and-gulf-cartel/, and https://defencehub.live/threads/mexicos-great-drug-war-zetas-and-gulf-cartel.649/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion Review ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:05, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Sorry for all the wikipedia rules I broke and for creating articles without sources. I'm really sorry, but now I understand how to work better, so can I please be unlocked? I would like to help wikipedia! D10s Maradona (talk) 08:25, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. SQLQuery me! 16:00, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

To any reviewing admin, this unblock request follows posts by me at User talk:79.23.9.194. While it doesn't mention the copyright issues even making this request demonstrates there is some willingness to listen, so perhaps engaging in conversation about those issues might be more beneficial than an outright "No, we're not unblocking you" refusal. • D10s Maradona, as copyright violations potentially put Wikipedia in legal jeopardy, we must be assured that you understand what copyright is and how and when copyrighted content can be used on Wikipedia. You might find reading WP:COPYVIO helpful. 331dot (talk) 09:12, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have read the whole article on copyright infringement, now I know how to properly help wikipedia, I did not think my edits and articles were so bad for wikipedia, sorry again.

Hello, 5 days have passed since the last message, I don't want to force you to unblock me, I just want to know if I can be unblocked and when :-)

I don't like to speak for admins and tell you that you will or won't be unblocked, but in my experience of seeing various unblock requests what you have said so far is probably not enough for you to be unblocked. Perhaps if you could explain exactly what was wrong with your edits to Jalisco Cartel New Generation-Los Caballeros Templarios Cartel War it will demonstrate that you understand the problem. FDW777 (talk) 09:40, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ah OK, so let's say that the whole article was a mistake, because in practice I made a copy-paste of information from other wikipedia articles and other sites, using the same sources. I did it incorrectly and hastily, let's say I didn't have to do that article.

@ToBeFree: we seem to have made some progress here. If there's any more progress needed to be made it might be better if you take over the questions? FDW777 (talk) 17:23, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
While I am very thankful for the guidance provided by you, the burden on creating a proper unblock request is on the user. As they have failed to learn from two previous blocks, the hurdle of proving their sudden gain of competence is also unusually high. Without any example for future contributions – without any indication of what is to be expected after an unblock – there likely won't be an unblock. D10s Maradona does not only have to prove copyright knowledge: They also have to explain why an unblock is necessary at all. Unhappiness about being blocked does not count. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:33, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
