The article Barry Conrad Southgate has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Help me

[edit]

Dear Editor,

I have added the references as you have suggested. Please let me know if you approve those edits. If you could please help me revise it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you. (Csunstudent123 (talk) 23:16, 12 May 2011 (UTC))[reply]

That's exactly what the article needs. I have removed one of the links because it does not meet our reliable sources policy as a blog. The others however are fine and satisfy the requirements to remove the BLP deletion proposal. Nice work, and welcome to Wikipedia! Regards, MacMedtalkstalk 00:16, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Barry Conrad Southgate do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia.
Your edit here to Barry Conrad Southgate was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Barry-Southgate/18504294986) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Dear Administrators,

Please let me know if the image of Barry Southgate is approved by you.

Thank you. (Csunstudent123 (talk) 18:22, 17 May 2011 (UTC))[reply]

It's not a question of administrators approving an image, but of you establishing its copyright status. Where did you get it? Who owns the copyright? Has it been released on a suitable free license? You have to put an appropriate file copyright tag on the file description page - File:Promo-cover-update-11.jpg. If it does not have a free license, are you claiming that it meets the non-free content conditions? See:

License tagging for File:Promo-cover-update-11.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Promo-cover-update-11.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:06, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
