- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You are not heeding the comments you are being given on this page, especially with regards to your conflict of interest. I have blocked you so you can take the time to learn about WP:COI and the correct way for someone in your position to suggest changes to an article in the area of a COI. 331dot (talk) 20:44, 14 August 2018 (UTC)
You need to post the below on the article talk page. 331dot (talk) 21:46, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
- I can just quickly address these here if that's ok (prolly be easier. A copy is posted on the article's talk page too.) I went ahead and listed the issues with this COI editor's request in the collapsible list shown below. Forgive me for placing it there, but with the block notices above and the edit request material below, this talk page is rather busy. spintendo

Jansher Khan PP, SI, HI (Urdu: جان شیر خان; born 15 June 1969, in Peshawar, Pakistan[3]) is a former World No. 1 professional Pakistani squash player. During his career he won the World Open a record eight times, and the British Open six times. Jansher's skill of movement singled him out from the competition, holding "all the top squash experts in awe."[4] Jansher Khan's retirement brought an end to nearly 50 years of domination by Pakistan in the sport of squash.[5] {{request edit}} Career[edit]He won the World Junior Squash Championship title in 1986 and the senior World Open title in 1987, by beating Australia's Chris Dittmar in the final. [citation needed] His squash titles total 99 which includes a 10 year long dominance of the sport, ranked number one in the world. Retirement[edit]Jansher officially announced his retirement from squash in 2001. In October 2007, Jansher competed in a Professional Squash Association tournament in London, losing in the opening round to Scott Handley 11–9, 6–11, 6–11 0–11.[6] Jansher was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in late 2011.[7] World Open final appearances[edit]

[edit] Please refrain from using talk pages such as Jansher Khan for general discussion of the topic or other unrelated topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information.
My concern here is that continuing to open this issue of listing the siblings on the talk page can seem disruptive. The talk page is not meant to be the place to continue posting requests which have already been answered. You and your siblings would not be posted in the infobox because you and your siblings (except one, who is posted) do not meet the definition of notable.
Please understand that when we say "not notable", this is not meant to cast aspersions upon you or your siblings. As his son, you are related to Mr. Khan, and no one can take that bond away from you. But for Wikipedia's purpose, leaving out the names of relatives which are not well known is a long standing practice, both for practical reasons (it would be difficult to list the family members of every sports person on the planet) as well as privacy concerns.
Please understand that editing Wikipedia to make a point is something which is not accepted by the community. Your input on this page in the past has been more or less helpful, and I would hope that you decide to continue to post reasonable requests for addition when they arise. Thank you. File permission problem with File:Jansher Khan.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Jansher Khan.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 17:06, 9 November 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Jansher Khan.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Jansher Khan.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
