Olean, ny

Lou lived with the Daniels Family in Olean, NY> while playing for the Olean Oilers. Eugene Daniels still lives there today. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.78.242.154 (talk) 17:10, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He lost part of one ear in an accident and had the fragment grafted elsewhere in the hope of later reattachment. Someone may want to research that strange tale. He appears half-eared on at least one of his baseball card photos. WHPratt (talk) 13:45, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
