Exorcist 2 Not the Best Movie

[edit]

Well under the terms and guidelines of Wiki, I must be polite and respectful, so I will try to be.

I am a huge fan of spiritual/religous horror movies. Of course everyone can agree that The Exorcist (the original) is one of the best 100 movies of all time. After watching it I was compelled to watch the other movies in the series. When watching sequals to great horror movies, you can never expect them to be as great as the first. But after watching 'Exorcist 2', I have never been so dissapointed in my life.

The story line did try to relate to the previous movie, but it really used too many special effects and science jargin to grab the watcher. I will continue this later, but please be assured that this is by far, one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life and really made me dissapointed in the whole series. It is to be said that out of the 4 Exorcist movies, the 2nd one was the worst by far!

John Boorman

[edit]

Most authorities put Shepperton as John Boorman's Birthplace. In his autobiography Adventures of a Suburban Boy he states that he was born in 50 Rosehill Avenue Carshalton Surrey, where he did indeed reside in his early life. A much distorted Rosehill Avenue is depicted in his film Hope and Glory. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.181.11.55 (talk) 20:45, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jewish

[edit]

Why is there no mention of the fact he is Jewish? (2A00:23C4:638A:5000:2DA4:EA01:39A9:D0A1 (talk) 19:38, 5 June 2017 (UTC))[reply]

Why should there be. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.149.247.9 (talk) 18:06, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There shouldn't be at all because he's not Jewish 2A02:C7C:8673:3C00:BCF2:7978:5965:163E (talk) 19:06, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Partial?

[edit]

Why only a partial filmography? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 240F:CA:2CE5:1:B43C:7AD8:9865:5407 (talk) 07:16, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Sex is divided into two worlds"

[edit]

"Zardoz (1974)... is a post-apocalyptic science fictionpiece, set in the 23rd century where sex is divided into two worlds."

That may be accurate or not (haven't seen the film), but it's certainly incomprehensible. 2A02:AA1:1146:FD72:5A0:4495:792E:4CE0 (talk) 14:32, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

After reading the plot at Zardoz, I've changed "sex" to "society". Any other suggestions? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 16:57, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
