The result of the move request was: Move this article to Flor Silvestre and the film to Flor silvestre (film). Consensus is that it is not a good idea to have two pages with titles that differ only in capitalization, and that the actress is the primary topic over the film. Flor Silvestre (actress) → Flor Silvestre – There are two articles associated with the name flor silvestre, which means "wild flower" in Spanish. The 1943 film, Flor silvestre, whose first "s" is not capitalized because "silvestre" is used as an adjective in this name. The second is this article of the actress and singer who borrowed the name of the film as her stage name, Flor Silvestre, which simulates "Flor" as her first name and "Silvestre" as her last name which is a proper noun and a real surname in Mexico. In the Spanish Wikipedia, the film's article is Flor silvestre and the actress' article is Flor Silvestre. User talk:OsotedeMonteV. Villalvaso 00:05, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. Capitalisation of one letter (Flor Silvestre vs Flor silvestre) is not sufficient to disambiguate pages especially since film titles in English are usually with title caps just as personal names are. — AjaxSmack01:51, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Support. I think it more appropriate that the actress be given the "primary" article name and the film be renamed to Flor silvestre (1943 film). Most people do not have parenthetical appendages to their article name unless there are other people with the same name. --Lyncs (talk) 11:00, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Per Ajax, I don't think it would be helpful for the reader to have the two article names differ by just the capital letter. However, the current situation where both capitalizations point to the film is not optimal either, since the actress's article actually gets more page views of the two.[1][2]Jafeluv (talk) 10:33, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Support, but I agree that the capitalisation in this case is insufficient disambiguation for the film. I would therefore support the proposal above to disambiguate the film as Flor silvestre (1943 film) or simply Flor silvestre (film), and Flor silvestre to become a redirect. I don't think it matters which of the articles is then the target of this redirect, just so long as there's a hatnote there to the other one. Andrewa (talk) 09:24, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
