Racist nonsense
[edit]"Although she was three-quarters African-American..."
She wasn't "three-quarters" black, she was over 90% White. In America, blackness is a social construct. 2603:7000:B23E:3056:F40E:F28E:FF8D:22C5 (talk) 04:52, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
- There's a weird emphasis on her racial identity, with not much in the way of decent sources for it- note the one citation is marked as being insufficiently good. Did SHE identify as "African-American" (which as you say, is a very particular IDENTITY rather than simply reflection of her racial background)? One of her parents at least was evidently of some kind of black heritage, but were they necessarily "African"? According to what source, exactly? People are always so keen to shoehorn into boxes or appropriate them for their own agendas, it's somewhat disconcerting. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.24.237.133 (talk) 16:46, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
Place of Birth
[edit]There are conflicting sources that say that Drake was born to the Westmorelands in Jacksonville, FL and not Miami. 2601:152:A01:9290:7FD2:B3C:2D33:44EB (talk) 01:30, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
