The San Diego Public Library will be hosting an edit-a-thon at the San Diego Central Library focused on content relating to Wikiquote She Said Project. All are encouraged to attend, however seating is limited. This will be the 106th Wikipedia meetup in San Diego County.

Event Details
Learn to edit Wikiquote pages and contribute to making knowledge more accessible! Join us on Monday, December 11th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in editing and writing Wikiquote articles regarding notable women. Learn the basics of Wiki editing and learn more about influential female historical figures and events. All experience levels are welcome. It is highly recommended that participants create a Wikiquote account ahead of time.
The San Diego Wikimedians User Group, an affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation, will be giving a short tutorial on getting started with Wikipedia. Afterwards, we will begin editing! Computers will be available. Attendees may bring their own WiFi-enabled devices if they so desire, though in-room outlet space may be limited.— Pauline Bronstein

Getting there
[edit]San Diego Central library is located in East Village, San Diego, and west of Interstate 5. It is encouraged that attendees plan in advance as parking underneath the library is not guaranteed. It is also northeast of the 12th & Imperial Transit Center, making it accessible to multiple San Diego Metropolitan Transit System options.
