  Perform maintenance tasks

Become a member of a project that interests you

Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Chance the Rapper has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 18:53, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Foxy Brown

[edit]

Hi there. Your edit had to be reverted on Foxy Brown (rapper) because it was not

1. Sourced; and
2. The paragraph is talking about albums which debuted at number one. Pink Friday by Nicki Minaj did not debut at number one and rather only peaked at number one. This paragraph is talking about debuting which is a Billboard achievement. Hope this makes sense. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you are still unsure.

Cheers Maxwell King123321 05:07, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That makes perfect sense and not to sound weird or anything but could you adopt me

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Meghan Trainor, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Elizium23 (talk) 03:41, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ok

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. Thank you. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 16:42, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Doja Cat discography, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Doja Cat, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please provide a reliable source that says that Doja Cat is West Coast hip hop; if you cannot do so, then it cannot be included in the article. Furthermore, links to List of Billboard Hot 100 number ones of 2020 should only be used on individual song articles, not the articles of artists. Thank you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lauryn Hill discography, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rhythmic. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:18, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Associated acts criteria

[edit]

Hello! You recently reverted my edit on Doja Cat's page concerning Saweetie as an associated act. As you probably know, in January 2021, Saweetie released "Best Friend (ft. Doja Cat)". You are correct about Saweetie not fitting the criteria as an associated act, but what about Smino? To my knowledge, Smino has only collaborated with Doja once, on Won't Bite. How come Smino fits the criteria but Saweetie doesn't? Kind regards, DX!talk 14:45, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 6ix9ine, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Christian.

Please leave descriptive edit summaries

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button.
