Jusan Bank

First Heartland Jusan Bank (Jusan Bank) is a Kazakhstani bank headquartered in Almaty, the country’s commercial center. Jusan Bank is engaged in retail and commercial banking including lending, deposits, cash and settlement services, and trading in securities and foreign currencies. The Bank's customers include retail consumers, microbusinesses, small and medium-sized enterprises and large businesses.^[1]

Overview

In July 2020, Jusan Bank topped a global ranking of banks in terms of return on assets (ROA) for 2019, as published in the finance industry magazine The Banker. The bank led on the ROA metric both in the Asia and Oceania region and worldwide with a return of 18.43 per cent.^[2] In April 2024, Jusan Bank was named the best mobile bank for business in Kazakhstan by SME Banking Agency.^[3] The bank also ranked second in the agency’s ratings of the best digital ecosystems for business and best digital banks for SMEs.

Owners and management
