About Meistriliiga templates
It's not that I don't like them, but it's likely no one in the near future will create these pages, therefore the links will stay dead. Also it's possible that people with the same name will emerge meanwhile and the links would then link to the wrong person. It's not hard to make 1-2 additional edits to templates and squad lists to add the link when creating a new article of a player. And third, even if all the pages about players in Estonia would be created, they would mostly fail WP:BIO and get deleted soon afterwards. Lipik (talk) 13:46, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
Just a little reminder
When updating player's infobox, check also if he/she has played (and scored) for the new team and don't forget to change pcupdate (and ntupdate in case changes involve national team stats) while doing so. Lipik (talk) 20:31, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

Vandals
Thanks for helping to clean up the vandalism on the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup pages. There seems to be one or two vandals going around at the moment so keep the good work up! Once again thanks! :) TurboGUY (talk) 15:47, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

Estonian villages

Lake redirects
You don't really need these pages deleted to do what you want, simply edit the pages to remove the redirect and add whatever content you have to add. If the villages are located on the lakes it would be a good idea to WP:LINK to them in the article text as well. Beeblebrox (talk) 22:58, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I know. But I'm not gonna make those articles. I think User:Starzynka will. So it would be easier for him. Pelmeen10 (talk) 23:00, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- Is it OK, if I only put {{db}}? Pelmeen10 (talk) 23:03, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- There's no need. When they are ready to make the article they can simply edit the existing page. They can replace the WP:REDIRECT with the text of the new article in the same manner as editing any other page. Beeblebrox (talk) 23:44, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion request declined
Hi Pelmeen10, I have declined your speedy deletion request for Ruuga, as it did not fall under any of the speedy deletion criteria. Feel free to use the proposed deletion or articles for deletion processes instead. Dabomb87 (talk) 23:36, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
I see I was wrong about the conflict of interest: User:Robvandergeest made a copy of this article which later turned into a redirect. But I still think the article is not notable, so I listed it for AfD. If you think otherwise, you are invited to comment there. --EdgeNavidad (Talk · Contribs) 07:23, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi Pelmeen10. I took your question to my user page, because i think it belongs to it.
Montell 74, why do you keep reverting the edits. You did not only revert formatting, but added meets also. Are you sure the added meets are wrong? Pelmeen10 (talk) 12:33, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I forgot to keep the meets. I'm sure that the meets are right. Now it's done. Thank you. Montell 74 (talk) 18:26, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Re: Nomination
I assume you are referring to the Rene Kaas/Siksten Kasimir nomination. While you are of course welcome to think what you like, the two players are sufficiently similar that nominating them separately would probably result in a fair number of duplicate comments. IF it turns out that the community has two very different opinions on these players, I will of course separate the nominations, but for now doing so would simply be a waste of time. Records
How you can add that not typicall Estonian recortds to List of Baltic records in athletics? You dont have Lithuanian and Latvian results to compare, so its can't be declared as Baltic recpords. Bearas (talk) 16:16, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
That TWO records that Estonia doesnt have is WORLD RECORDS, so that not even need to find Estonian records, because its already best in world. Bearas (talk) 16:28, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
It's not a record of the Baltic states, so why it should be left at all? You making that list ridiculous. Bearas (talk) 16:33, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Two miles record was added by User:Montell 74. He recently was working with all "mile" and "two miles" records in all nations records lists. You should ask about it to him. Bearas (talk) 16:36, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
So if there any records that can't be improved and was added by accident you should write it in lists discussion delete it bu not add 200 m hurdles record, while I first time in my life see this event and its impossible to find other nations record in it probably. Bearas (talk) 16:41, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
- Hi. I'm right with Pelmeen10. Area records do not depend on the fact that every country of it has done a comparable mark in each discipline. So please let the records stay until maybe someone will find more information to correct it. Please consider that a lot of 'old fashioned' and 'exotic' disciplines (f.e. 300m in/outdoor or 400m hurdles indoor will get more and more prominence because of the meeting's chance to mark records). Thank you. Montell 74 (talk) 16:47, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Hi
Hello Pelmeen10. I´m sorry I am voting different than you on the categories subject. We don´t know eachother, but this is a good oportunity for us to meet. Just for you to know, I do agree with some aspects of what you defend. For exemple, I created and help expanding many foreign players lists. Some editors were against them and some even wanted to delete them, and I defended them allways. I also defend that football interess is hardly geographically limited, and any nation has its own football related activity worth WP attention. Now, there are some editors that have a view that this English language wikipedia should be more about the interess of anglo-saxon nations and their perspective, and oposite to that view are some other editors (in which I supose I belong) that defend that with the current globalization, and being the English language the most "international" one, any point of interess in the world is worth exploring. Now, speaking more on the subject itself, there are also many editors, or wp visitors, from anglo-saxon countries as well, that have great interess in football situation in many parts of the globe. I, for instance, found very interesting the footballers nationalities migration, from the geo-social perspective. For exemple, I have made a study at home about which nations preferably explore talents from which other nations (Exemple, Russia&Ukraine import mostly all ex-USSR talents, Germany imports most Central Europe, Portugal imports Brazilians, Spain Latin Americans,etc.). That is why I love the foreign players lists.
Now, regarding the categories, some editors have been calling for all the expatriate categories to simple be removed and deleted. I have been fighting that, specially because I find usefull the ones I mentioned in the comment because, for the countries that have a list of foreign players, in oposition to it, the category of expatriate players there, includes all players, not only the top league ones from the list; and for the rest of the nations, it´s just a great way to see which foreign players with wp article play there. But, unfortunatelly for you, I do agree that having them divided further into nations is too much. It will create an enormous ammount of categories and it will add too much categories to a great number of player articles. I really don´t want to leave the impression of not respecting other editors work, but these categories have been "under fire" for a long time now (certainly more than a year), they had not been used by most of Footy editors, and the discussion regarding them was opened many times during last year on the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football. Lets see how the discussion regarding those categories goes, but whatever the outcome you should follow and participate more in the discussions going on in the Project. Also, I want to offer myself for any collaboration you may need and its allways a pleasure to work with other footy editors. Best regards, FkpCascais (talk) 23:04, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for answer and clarification. Lets see the result, but I still hope they are kept. I find that foreign stuff quite interesting too. I have spent a lot of time on adding cats to Estonian fooballers (I think 95% of footballers have them, maybe some retired player's are missing, so those are trustful). I have thought about making an article "List of Estonian expatriate footballers" or "List of foreign Meistriliiga players/List of foreign players in Estonia", but I'm the only active Estonian WP:Footy member and I don't want to take it up alone (or maybe some day).
- I watched the WikiProject at the beginning at sometimes after, but I gave up because of the time and there was some unuseful discussion. Now I try to watch it again. Pelmeen10 (talk) 13:19, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- I understand what you mean in the discussion on the categories. You are saying that having one cat, exemple, Expatriate French footballers in China will replace 2 categories, French expatriate footballers and Expatriate footballers in China, right? The only problem is that generally people on wp like to have things uniformised, meaning, if we divide the Expatriate footballers in China into nations (French exp in China, Swedish, Estonian, Indonesian...) we will have to do it for all countries. I also understand that you may give for option doing it only for some nations, the ones worth dividing (in Spain, in England, in Italy...) but in practice, if we do it for some, we´ll end up having it done that way for all, as already seen, we have Kosovar expatriate footballers in Denmark (3 guys), or Kazakhstan (2 guys), and so on... So, basically, if we start it, editors will do it for all countries, and we´ll end up having (perhaps not 40.000) but something like 200x200 (there it comes the 40,000) subcategories, most of them with just a few articles. If you see from Category:Expatriate association football players most have some houndreds, and a few are overpopulated. FkpCascais (talk) 18:04, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- And I basically understand what you mean, but it doesn't change mine (many editors don't think their edits through or other opinions, like Jmorrison230582, I've never explained something for 4 times). 40.000 is impossible to reach. But I offered a compromise, which would suite to other opinions and Wikipedia rules. I posted it to the discussion. Cheers! Pelmeen10 (talk) 18:36, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- Hey, why don´t you make a List of foreign players in Meistriiliga? Or a List of foreign in the Baltic League? FkpCascais (talk) 19:58, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- Wouldn't know about Latvia and Lithuania. But thinking about Meistriliiga. Maybe if User:Lipik returns or some other football fan. And actully curretly I don't know where to find that info. Pelmeen10 (talk) 20:31, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- OK. I was just giving an idea. I would like to see those lists, and I think there aren´t any donne anywhere on the net. I also had hard time founding info for the ones I made, they are the first of the kind donne anywhere, I think, and basically none of the ones I made is still completelly complete, if you know what I mean... For exemple, in Serbia, foreign players receve many little attention (except the better ones, of course), but all attention goes to the domestic ones. All websites when listing "notable past players" only focus on the Serbian/Yugoslav national team ones... So I had to digg trough all existing football websites, finding old matches reports, and I´m still missing most of the 1990s period (strangelly, in Serbia the 1970-1990 period was much better recorded that the 1990-2000. And I´m still wanting very much to complete the pre-1945 period which was tremendously interesting with players from all over central europe, even south america, just with many many scarse info on them. For most of them from that period, I only have the surnames, and nothing more... I´m just saying all this to say that I understand your difficulties in making them, because some other lists were just copy/pasted from the existing lists on other internet sites, while "ours" doesn´t exist anywhere. FkpCascais (talk) 20:57, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- Estonian league isn't really popular amongs foreigners. So the list wouldn't be too long. (But some teams are partly Russian: Sillamäe Kalev and Narva Trans and almost Kohtla-Järve Lootus and Lasnamäe Ajax). And I don't know much about pre 2000-s, too young. But Estonian Football Association might help though. :) Pelmeen10 (talk) 21:08, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Well, I perfectly remember the 1928 Yugoslav Football Championship. I was the craziest hooligan back then! :) FkpCascais (talk) 21:12, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- Haha :) Meistriliiga was founded in 1992 (what a relief!), eventhough Estonian champs are from 1921. Pelmeen10 (talk) 21:16, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- Serbian football hooligans are quite known in Europe now, not allowed to come to Estonia and some home games ban. What do you say about that and do you visit Serbian national games? Pelmeen10 (talk) 20:14, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
- Oh, sorry, I just now noteced your question here. Well, it´s a complicated question. I support supporters, meaning, the issue has been very much manipulated politically. The current president of the FFS has manipulated the events in Italy in the Italy-Serbia match. It´s said that he payed a bunch of hooligans to purpously make those incidents so the match is interrupted and all atention that way goes to the hooligans question. I´m not sure if you remember, but a few weeks earlier of that match, the national coach Radomir Antić was illegaly fired by the same president of Federation, and the public generally critisized that very much and was on Antic side. This way the atention went all towards the holigans, and he (the stupid prsident) came out from this incient as the saviour of Serbian football and the fighter against hooliganism (when ironically he was the one that organised the incident...). The football in Serbia is owned by mafia, with the president of the federation as its head (or at least a very important member) and everything goes around making football pure bussiness for their pockets. For exemple, the guy issued a law which says that SuperLuga clubs are allowed to have maximally 4 foreign players! And why? Because that way the domestic players represented by his managers get more minutes to play, otherwise, clubs started to buy foreign players thatr were putting in shadow some of their players thus making them loose many when selling them. It´s totally stupid law because there were not so many foreign players anyway before and domestic players in Serbia will allways be relatively good and hardly worste than the few foreigners that accept to come to Serbia. And it is specially stupid because he wants to rid the league of foreign players (the second league has a limit of only 2!) but on the other hand he wants to bring Brazilian Cléo to the national team!!! Limited foreigners in clubs, but foreigners in NT??? Shouldn´t be rather the other way around? Specially having in mind that Serbia has plenty of players for national team... Anyway, all this because an agent friend of his represents Cléo, and if he gets to play for Serbia his price will rise. See the capitalism in this? They only think for their pockets, and they don´t care at all for real football. The stadiums are worste than 20 years ago!!! Shouldn´t be on contrary? Now he exagerated the entire hooligans question just for him to earn points with UEFA president Platini, as the main ally in the fight against hooligans...
- Now, hooligans do exist in Serbia, and they are a real problem. It is quite fair to say that going to a more important football match in Serbia is dangerous. But, on the other hand a group of guys cheering for their club is worste than mafia thiefs that steale millions??? I´m not sure. I rather think that the hooligans are rather victims of the same corrupt system, and when other things get better (stadiums reconstructed, better results, when clubs bring better players...) the same hooligans will slowly desapear. In a society where the president of the federation does nothing when a president of some club (which is his friend) breaks the contract to some player and suffers none consequences for it, where the group of people steals all avalkiable money and invests nothing in local football, well unfortunatelly hooligans are really normal...
- I live in Portugal for a long time now, but I usually go for hollidays there and many times go to matches. I go mostly to the Partizan ones because that´s my favourite club, and because we have the worste hooligans. I personally think that hooligans are just stupid and generally bad, but on the other side hooligans and football have allways been together. I wouldn´t like to go to a match and to seat next to nannies and children, if you know what I mean... But I definitelly think that football in Serbia has worste things that hooligans. And it is a country so rich in football talets... FkpCascais (talk) 20:50, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the answer. I partly thought about it, but didn't know the corruption is so big (I've heard Bulgarian football is controlled by mafia). Yep, football fans in Balkans are well known for their hooliganism, but I agree that sitting quietly and just watching (like in theatres) is even worse, and that's basically the main problem in Estonia. Estonians are usually calm, (no protest on the streets in everyday-life), no pyro and stuff... In my opinion our country is basically a police coutry, if you know what I mean.. Security is too strict and reacts too hard on any violations, and fines got from UEFA. (Lately a new law was made - police can listen phone-calls and stuff without court order.) Our main supporters of national team Jalgpallihaigla is basically inactive. Our Meistriliiga avarage attendace is about 200, the lowest in Europe. (Some think that it's fault of EFA head Aivar Pohlak's authoritarian rule and the lack of advertisement.) Too bad I'm no hardcore club supporter, but now I'm more interested. Many Estonians like English, Spanish and German leagues (I'm not fond of them), just Estonian national team.
- Anyways I hope the corruption doesn't last long and Serbian football gets back to its normal state. In February at Latvia-Bolivia (2-1) and Estonia-Bulgaria (2-2) game there was one referee, who gave 7 penalties in 2 games... But I think our football develops, the win against Serbia was quite big here. Next will be Uruguay and Serbia again, lets see... :) Pelmeen10 (talk) 21:40, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- I understand you. I travelled a bit (altought never been to Estonia or near) and I was allways quite good in geography, meaning that I have usually a good percetion about reality in different countries. My view on Estonia is that is more a Scandinavian country in mentality than central or eastern European one. You are related to Finnish people and very similar in many ways, right? The difference is that Soviet period (or ocupation, depending how you see it) had also influence in Estonian society, perhaps more negative one, because the Scandinavian nature of Estonians certainly entered in shock with Russian temperament and sometimes anarchy. That is why I know that "order" nature in Estonia. I don´t have Estonian friends, but knowing some Swedes and Finnish people I do understand well what you meant when saying that those nations lack a bit of hot blood and are a little bit too much resigned to order and low. I supose that kind of personallity is good for them in Sweeden where society is almost perfect, but in Estonia where Soviet period left some imperfections in society, a more protesting people would help getting things better. However, I think that there will be an eternal debate about if it is better to live in north European societies where everything is in "order" and "perfect" vs southern European societies where almost nothing is perfect and where people always fight and demand more from the system... I think both sides have good and bad sides.
- Serbia was much more prosperous country, specially between 1945-1990, that people think. I am from the capital Belgrade and life there in that period was quite good. We had a "open socialism" that was much better than the one under Soviet rule. We didn´t belonged neither to Warsaw Pact. People could travel to the west, we had concerts, resumingly everything was allowed except protesting against the governament. My parents used to go to USSR for bussiness reasons, and they knew well the hard times that people had there. Serbia (inside Yugoslavia) was quite different. Only that the war in the 1990s in Croatia and Bosnia first and Kosovo later had much bad impact to the country. Serbia had economic sanctions imposed by UN (read USA) for the entire decade, and included sports sanctions, meaning sport teams of Serbia couldn´t compete in any euro or world competitions! All this just after Red Star was European and world champion in 1991 and Serbia (still together with Montenero and named FR Yugoslavia)) was qualified with a excellent team to the EURO 92. It was not allowed to participate and Denmark (2nd place in group) went instead, and won! I mean, it doesn´t necesarily mean that we would have won, but... It was an excellent generation: Savicevic, Mijatovic, Jugovic, Mihajlovic, Stojkovic... And they were only allowed to return to cpompetition in 1998! already after their top of career. So, beside all the injustice that the wars were towards Serbs, in sports that was an incredible injustice for entire generation of excellent sportsman. And a incredible negative image came out for Serbia from all this.
- Now, we did had a president that was bad (Milosevic), but not so much because of the things he was acused of, but mostly because he stoled all countries money... As football curiosity, the first Army intervention in the Yugoslav wars can be considered to have happened in a Yugoslav league match between Croatian Dinamo Zagreb and Serbian Red Star. It was in Zagreb, and the match never ended. Here is the article: Dinamo Zagreb–Red Star Belgrade riot. And one of the most notorious ways of revolting against Milosevic regime in the 1990s was in football stadiums where people could anonimously sing "Save the country and kill yourself, Slobodan, Slobodan!" (obviously in Serbian this rimed). Football hooligans were allways very active and lede revolts against the state and polititians when needed. Their actions were troully important and even "historical"!
- Regarding the impossibility of fans of Serbian nt travelling to the matches will definitelly be good for oponents. It was another idea of owr stupid president of football federation that allegedly and ironically fights hooliganism... They could make mess and allways make trouble. Many of them are ex wars soldiers and are really "bad-guys". It would be an ocasion for Estonia to archive qulification, because Italy will certainly pass, and we will most certainly fail this time. We are having a generational crisis anyway. It would be good to see Estonia in a competition, perhaps like Latvia did in Euro 2004 here in Portugal? The only player I know better is Konstantin Vassiljev that plays in Slovenia (formr Yugoslavia). I obviously know most of other players as well. If you menage to play good football altogether and make a cohesive team you really have a chance this time. I apologies for my teribly long posts here, but since you asked I felt like better telling you more than just simple answers. :) FkpCascais (talk) 22:55, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- It's always interesting people's opinion from different countries. For me it's a bit hard to understand how this kind of people get president.
- Estonia is definitely more Scandinavic. I haven't experienced the Soviet rule (heard only, movie Singing Revolution is quite good), but probably it has left a mark. We don't think about it anymore and we're no poor, we're the first ex-soviet country with Euros. But actually gaining freedom and all that time it brought people together and was quite patriotic, but now some people leave from Estonia if there's any oportunity (go to work in Finland and Sweden) and population slowly decreases.. (we even have 1 footballer who doesn't want to play for Estonia - Joel Lindpere, good player but now some hate him)
- I hope Estonia qulifies, but it would't be easy. Win over Italy wasn't far, we lead 1-0 and the 0-1 loss against Slovenia was bad luck (our captain Piiroja was missing due to yellow cards).
- Vassiljev is also my favourite player with Kink, Zenjov and Piiroja.
- Serbia really has to take something up if they don't want to get eliminated from any competition. Pelmeen10 (talk) 17:02, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree that is interesting to know what other people think. I grew up studing in an English schooll in Mexico where most foreigners residing there were also, and here in Portugal I live in a place where most of foreign people living in Lisbon area live, so I allways had the chance to be surounded with people from many different nationalities, which is definitely a good thing.
- This guy came to be president of SFF because he was elected by the same people that are the bussinesman of the footballers, meaning, they are the one that earn money with players transfers. They just prefer to have this kind of president, that does everything they want, instead of some good president who would eventually fight for less corruption in football, better conditions for footballers and get rid of them all. Good people end up giving-up. Antic for exemple, didn´t wanted just to coach the national team, but with his experience and age (and importance) he wanted to modernise the entire Serbian football in all levels. Since that meant also making new laws and getting this "football exploting gang" out of the Federation, the FFS president made purpously bad ambient in the national team in the World Cup in South Africa, didn´t payed the promesed bonuses for qualification, thus the players unhappy obviously didn´t play well. The players in protest went to party the night before the match against Germany, and they ironically won! But this entire episode bring the moal down of the team and they got eliminated. The president blamed Antic, and fired him, but we all knew that he fired him because he wanted seriously to get things better, but the president got scared and prefered to fire him and stay with his stupid football mafia winning millions from football transfers, and keeping the things the way they are now... sad.
- Most people think that this qualification for us is lost, so they will experiment new players (probably the ones the mafia wants to sell next), so you don´t have to warry about us. But be carefull with Slovenia, they are the same football school as Serbia, and they can play quite a nice football.
- When we talk about this "football mafia" we are not talking about some street guys, killers, and that stuff, but they are more guys like politicians with a tye, bussinessman, some ex-footballers, some club presidents, but all of them together with the goal of making monney from football. Well, making monney is normal everywhere today, the difference is that this guys take all the monney and invest nothing in local football. Clubs that could be rich don´t have monney because they take it all. They make pressure for footballers to accept deals players possibly don´t want just for them to earn monney... In one club, they don´t use the best players, but rather the ones they are interested to sell, having many times better players sitting in the bench! They don´t care about the results, only about their finantial profit. And they all support eachother. That is how they menage to survive, and to have a president that supprot them. FkpCascais (talk) 20:19, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
For your good work

Hi! You deleted the photo requests from a number of lists of Cultural Properties of Japan (example). Could you explain why? bamse (talk) 14:53, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- Well, they are lists and the idea was to get photos for every item (every row) of the table. Not sure what to put after "of=". Would "of=various" do? bamse (talk) 18:26, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Article alerts
Hello, and you're not wrong :-) I didn't notice the "show", it's very small and got lost among the section edit links on the right. But if you'd used the edit summary to say what you'd done, either when adding the transclusion or when removing the words, it would have made it clear even to unobservant people like myself. Might I suggest you format the Article alerts hide/show as a box, the same as in the featured content section, to make it more noticeable? thanks, Struway2 (talk) 08:59, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
- Ok, it's cool then. But yes, I try to add "show" if it's not seen so easily. Pelmeen10 (talk) 09:04, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Renaming of List of English professional football clubs
I've reverted your move. Far from being 'just wrong', it was quite correct - the purpose of the list is to denote clubs by location. It doesn't contain any other information except that (and there's no room for any more without making it unreadable on normal screens, so it's not desirable to imply it could). Without making that basic purpose clear in the title, there is no way for any reader to either know in advance that's all it contains, or to know what differentiates it from the other lists of English clubs that also already exist. I wouldn't expect you would rename a List like 'Cities of X by population' to just 'Cities of X' would you? Or maybe you would. Either way, I'm objecting, so BRD and all that, if you think I'm wrong, you'll have to open a Move Request. MickMacNee (talk) 02:26, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
Estonia vs Serbia
Oh, I completely forgot it is today... oh, by now is fnishing... I´m gonna check it. I hope the best wins (honestly). All the best! FkpCascais (talk) 19:54, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. I was at the game. But no winners.. If you want to discuss the game, I'm here. Pelmeen10 (talk) 13:17, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
- You went to the stadium to see the match? You enjoyed? I only saw the goals and a few chances. The Serbian press says that in general we played better but in general the feeling is of great dissapointment. The off-side was fair. Interesting that Russians in Estonia came to support us. Well, all after all, we both lost points. You still have chances to place 2nd. We have too, but playing like this I think we beter don´t qualify. FkpCascais (talk) 16:04, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
- I go to all homegames. Kind of enjoyed (last minute goal not-counting was one of the culminations, I didn't knew then if it was 100% fair). But actually in 2nd half Estonia was better than Serbia. Our captain's mistake in first half meant Serbian goal, our goalkeeper is very good. We weren's so good as in Serbia 3-1 or Uruguay 2-0, I think because Sergei Zenjov was missing.
- But we basically never have "homewhistle". This game, some Estonians think that the referee was bought from Serbia, what's the changes? (Probably not)
- You may want to see pictures. (video, actually our police did quite nice job and don't worry, they did'n beat hooligans without reason) 70+ Serbian fans were arrested. Btw about 40-50 fans were next to Estonian main fan-sector (if they would have been there as long as half time, then I'm sure some fight would have been taken place). Some "Serbian fans" were actually Estonian citizens - Russian minded, racists. "Russians and Serbians, friends forever".
- 2 Serbian hooligans were part of Serbian delegation (who were allowed to go to the game). That means the delegation supported that stuff. Mafia payed them or sth like that?
- Whats the meaning of "Freedom or death"?
- Anyway, good that Slovenia and Northern Ireland played 0-0. Pelmeen10 (talk) 20:08, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
- From the 70 arested were actually all Estonian Russians.[1]. One part of the crowd supporting Serbia was formed by Serbian inmigrants in Germany who organised a trip to support the team, but no Serb was arested. It looks that the Russian minority took the chance to make some hooliganism... No, the delegation and federatiomn have no interess now in supporting that, on the contrary, they act now as if that has nothing to do with them. The "Freedom or death" flag is from the period of the 1st and 2nd World Wars when Serbian monarchic troops fought Austrians and Germans (see Chetniks for the flag, but the article content is not right), and it was a slogan to never give up to the ocupation and "Fight or die". FkpCascais (talk) 21:20, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
- I don't know why the Serbian media thinks all were Estonians, but they are wrong. There were Estonian, Serbian and Russian citizens. I have no reason not to believe the police and the EFA spokesman. Pelmeen10 (talk) 05:19, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
- It says they were all Russians, not Estonians (Russians living in Estonia). And it says that none Serbian citizen is arrested. If some Serbian citizen was arested they give his name, as allways when some Serbian citizen is arested in other country. EFA spokesman must think they were some Serbs because they were supporting Serbia. FkpCascais (talk) 05:33, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
- Don´t blame us, it is not our fault Russians like us :) FkpCascais (talk) 05:37, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

Transfermarkt
Hi Pelmeen, I removed your inclusion of Transfermarkt at footy sources from the international section because you missed to notece that it was already under German section. Anyway, I gave it to you on that discussion on footy because the site is a easy way to find players around. However, it is not a very reputable website since it often has errors depending on which league we are talking about (most of info about German football is acurate but somehow when you start moving away from Germany it becomes less and less acurate. I personally like him because it is easy to use and because couvers quite acurately the seasons and leagues from Serbia, but many other footy editors dislike the site... If you notece it comes with a note on the list. It has been improved with time, and some info that was wrong some time ago is being corrected, however still needs much work before being considered very reliable. The problem is that Transfermarkt is open to anyone to edit. Well, you or anybody can create an account there and edit, and filtering of that info by website administrators seems to have been improved just recently. So, it´s good for personal use, not so good for WP. The unnofficial most reliable websites are most likely to be IFFHS/RSSSF, Playerhistory and National-Football-Teams, and even those have frequent errors. Just to update you... FkpCascais (talk) 22:34, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
- No, not everyone can edit transfermarkt. And administrators check everything. I use it more often than any other international database. Don't know why, maybe bacause it has club and international games and reports and transfers and it's easy and comfortabel to use. Also it covers Estonia better than other databases (I think). So it should be in the list IMO. Or I just don't know any better database. Are there? Pelmeen10 (talk) 11:24, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- But it is already in the list, I just removed it from where you added it because that way it was repeated. And I edit Transfermarkt, so don´t need to explain it to me :) FkpCascais (talk) 11:31, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- I tried to edit it last year, but it didn't change anything and sayd an admin would check it. Now I use the forum to tell mistakes. Hard to find that link if I don't look under Germany (and I don't). It's a good link and every database has mistakes. And it's not Germany-only. Pelmeen10 (talk) 11:37, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- I know. Personally I like the website, but many other footy editors don´t. The website is on the list, so, we move on. FkpCascais (talk) 14:52, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

There is nothing like Wisla’s Player of the Month for March or something. On common Wisla fansite "wislaportal.pl" there are polls after every game in which readers of this wesite can give marks to the players. I'm trying to find out if this is a separate club from FC Kuressaare, because I can't see any reason for that redirect (or JK Sõrve). Thanks. Peridon (talk) 15:29, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
- It is a seperate club, see [2]. Some people also call JK Sörve somewhy JK Sõrve. But I see those redirects have been deleted already. Pelmeen10 (talk) 20:12, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
- I was trying to find why the redirects went where they did before deleting or declining, and why attempts to sort the problem were being squashed. I was having difficulty finding JK Sörve online. Anyway, the redirects have gone now. Perhaps someone will make an article on the club now. Thanks. Peridon (talk) 20:20, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
dHi Pelmeen. I saw your message at WT:RALLY#New infobox regarding an updated version of the WRC driver infobox template. I've taken a look and I have some suggestions:
- Instead of calling it "Infobox WRC driver", we should call it "Infobox Rally driver". Although not often, we are beginning to cover drivers from IRC, ERC and other notable rally drivers who aren't WRC drivers.
- There shouldn't be a reason for both of the
name=
andfullname=
fields, one should suffice (This is a fault with the current template, also) - Instead of calling the next section of the infobox "World Rally Championship record", there should be an additional field that the editor can choose options of WRC, IRC, ERC, etc etc so that we can use this infobox on other rally drivers
- The
co-driver=
field should be made clear in the "doc" page that this shouldn't be used just for the current co-driver, especially if the drivers' previous co-drivers are notable and have Wikipedia articles - Same for
teams=
- The
races=
field, which is generated in the Rallies line of the infobox -- it's unclear what this is for perhaps change it toraces-number=
or even better, add an additional fieldrallies-number=
, tell users in the doc that "races" is depreciated and "rallies" is preferred (because the output is "Rallies") - I'm not sure that the
points=
field is necessary. What importance is is that Sebastien Loeb, for example, has won 1133 in his career? We only care about the current season. There is no championship for total points, and because the length of each drivers' career is different, it's not really comparable between different drivers - I'm interested in seeing the
medaltemplates=
field in use. What is this for?
Hope these comments help, I'll watch the sandbox with interest for additional updates. Also, we really should have an infobox for co-drivers. I see that Jarmo Lehtinen and Daniel Elena don't have them; I assume after looking at Category:World Rally Championship templates it's because we don't have one. Estonian translation
Hi, I am trying to get the article Estonia national football team up to featured article status and have noticed that the Estonian version on the Estonian Wikipedia is of Featured Article status. Using an online translation, I've managed to translate the first sub-section of the "History" section of the article, but the translator is of no help for the rest as the trnslations are very rough and the sentences are hard to re-structure, unlike the part I have translated.
If possible, please may you help me with the translations? :).
Cheers :).

- Good to see people are interested about that article. But actually I almost never come to Wikipedia anymore, quite busy... It is good article in Estonian Wiki, and actually I tried to get it into FA, but some editors disagreed, thats one reason I dont like Vikipeedia anymore and have no motivation. But I'll try to help you. Could you tell me more specifically what kind of help you need? And also some other guy might help. Pelmeen10 (talk) 16:52, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
- Hi, it'll be good to bring the Estonian version to the English Wikipedia, I'll be happy just to have any paragraphs you have the time to translate please :), I've used an English Google translator for parts where it's easy to understand the translation, as the untranslated paragraphs are when put into English with Google, they're hard to understand. I think the Google translate just translates one word at a time and ignores the sentences structures. Yeah, I totally agree with you regarding Wikipedia, I took a long hiatus from it for 6 months for the same reasons as you, as well as people always slagging off my writings of the Feeder article on the band's unofficial message board forum, often using backhanded insults which deferred me from editing the article and any other wiki page. I later decided to just edit football articles and other pages I know those people won't see. How can editors disagree about FA status when the Estonian version is good article confuses me, as they could at least give it GA. The problem with FA status is that there is not a lot of info online regarding Estonian football for citations on English language websites, but there are plenty of Estonian webpages with good info as well as IFFFS. Marcus Bowen (talk) 20:11, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
- Have updated the article with all sections translated bar one which I will work on later. I have inserted a template into this section and brought the main body of the article up to recent events being the clinching of the play-off place.Marcus Bowen (talk)

Greating
Hi Pelmeen! I haven´t seen the match, I´ll watch the highlights later on. To be honest, I am not that enthusiastic at all. The Serbian Federation, which runs the national team and the top domestic leagues, is full of bad-faith old dinosaurus, and nothing seems to make them go away. If we qualify, they will say that it was their "hard work" that menaged that, and it will make them keep their places as leading people of the Serbian football for more years... Honestly, I wouldn´t mind if we fail, so more people get ungry and make those people leave football to a new generation.
A few weeks ago they were condemned to pay 2,4 m euros to our former national team coach Radomir Antic, who disagreed with them and that is why they kicked him away a year ago... He wanted to modernise the federation but they didn´t wanted that, so they kicked him out even knowing that they will loose in court (as Antic had a contract for 2 more years).
Serbia has so many good players and we have quite good clubs, so all this recent results are quite desastrous. All this happends because very old people with old ideas rules football there. And they do everything so they earn monney, they don´t care really about football and results. Have you seen what happend to our clubs? For the first time in our history all our clubs exited in late August! My club Partizan (who luckily played Champions League groups last year) lost both, qualifiers to CL, and even worste, they lost the qualifiers for group stages of Europa League against a semi-amateur Irish club Shamrock. It is a shock!!! And I saw it comming. The only way of making our clubs stronger is to buy better foreign players, as the domestic ones go to better leagues allways, but of course, the dinosaurus from the federation made a law allowing only 4 foreign players for each club, thus making it more easy for the mafia to "push" their local young players into better local clubs, so they winn more monney when they sale them... Now instead of having some relatively good foreign players mixed with ok domestic ones, we have a bunch of players who play only because their manager is friend of the federation president... Incredible!
So, as you see, I a really don´t have much to be happy, even if we qualify... I hope you qualify, as you seem to deserve it more than us. Btw, I was cheering this summer for my club, Partizan, to bring Vassiljev from Slovenia, but obviously my club president prefered to steal the money, bring some cheap guys from 2nd Brazilan league (who by the way he said that costed 2m euros, haha what a joke!) then say that we cannot bring more foreigners because of the law they made with mafia guys from the federartion, and loose against a club from Ireland... Yes, the bot has been inactive; it hasn't ever run continuously or automatically, but it might be a good idea to do that on new photo requests. Getting Wikimedians to the Olympic Games
Hi. I am part of an effort to get Wikimedians access to the 2016 Summer Olympics as accredited reporters and photographers. Part of this effort includes covering the 2012 Summer Paralympics. Two Wikimedians have credentials to attend these games as reporters through Wikimedia Australia. As English Wikipedia does not allow original reporting, this is largely through Wikinews with a project page found at Wikinews:Paralympic Games. If you are interested in helping to get Wikimedians to the next Summer Olympics,I'd encourage you to assist with Wikinews efforts, and also to work on all language 2012 Summer Paralympic Wikipedia articles before, during and after the Games to demonstrate a track record of success. Thank you. --LauraHale (talk) 04:26, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
The article List of Estonian expatriate footballers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable list which fails WP:OR; consensus for deletion exists in this September 2011 AfD.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. GiantSnowman 14:20, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Re: Removing references
I believe I only removed the reference at Sander Puri, and that was because the international stats are already cited by the two references given further down the article in the International stats section. Cheers, Mattythewhite (talk) 23:49, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
- I moved the reference at Mart Poom from the infobox to the relevant piece of prose, so it's not correct to say I removed it. Although NFT include the match that was removed from the official records, the Sofia News Agency reference is given to compensate for that. NFT is needed as jalgpall.ee doesn't break appearances/goals down by year, it only gives the total. Mattythewhite (talk) 00:09, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Can you help me complete missing informations in this article and this article? Banhtrung1 (talk) 08:26, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
