This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Scarisbrick (surname), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.scarisbrick.org.uk/name.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Dozens of historic articles with sourced content removed

I thought you might know what this is about. See the editor's recent contribution history. Thanks. – Jonesey95 (talk) 03:12, 24 August 2015 (UTC)

No idea. Looks a bit odd and I don't know what they means by "safe version", but so far as I can see they mostly appear to be reverting their own contributions. Hopefully you can get a response from the user in question. PC78 (talk) 13:07, 24 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Listed buildings in Scarisbrick, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Cladding and Keystone. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. You are invited to participate in Wiki Loves Pride!

  • What? Wiki Loves Pride, a campaign to document and photograph LGBT culture and history, including pride events
  • When? June 2015
  • How can you help?
1.) Create or improve LGBT-related articles and showcase the results of your work here
2.) Upload photographs or other media related to LGBT culture and history, including pride events, and add images to relevant Wikipedia articles; feel free to create a subpage with a gallery of your images (see examples from last year)
3.) Contribute to an LGBT-related task force at another Wikimedia project (Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, Wikivoyage, etc.)

Or, view or update the current list of Tasks. This campaign is supported by the Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group, an officially recognized affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation. Visit the group's page at Meta-Wiki for more information, or follow Wikimedia LGBT+ on Facebook. Remember, Wiki Loves Pride is about creating and improving LGBT-related content at Wikimedia projects, and content should have a neutral point of view. One does not need to identify as LGBT or any other gender or sexual minority to participate. This campaign is about adding accurate, reliable information to Wikipedia, plain and simple, and all are welcome!

If you have any questions, please leave a message on the campaign's main talk page.

Thanks, and happy editing!

Template:Infobox_church

Hi. I'm not sure what this edit achieved. It would appear from the lack of red changed text that all you did was add 142 spaces. If that was the case, and I'm sure there is a good reason why, perhaps a slightly clearer edit summary might help other editors attempting to understand your motives? Regards, Martin of Sheffield (talk) 09:20, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

@Martin of Sheffield: Sorry, but it was such a trivial edit that I didn't feel it was necessary. I added the spaces for the benefit of anyone copy & pasting the template syntax, so they don't have to be added manually when filling out the parameters. PC78 (talk) 16:28, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
That's OK, I thought there would be a good reason. I just spent a couple of minutes hunting for the change to see what had been altered. Spaces don't show up! Regards, Martin of Sheffield (talk) 18:45, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
