Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Luísa Baptista, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Angolan. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I'm not sure why you put a cross next to Shakira Martin with this edit. She's dead, yes, but I'm not sure about the cross. Thanks.Magnolia677 (talk) 11:35, 13 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your reply on my talk page. I've never seen crosses used on Wikipedia to differentiate living from non-living people. Is there a Wikipedia policy you are following, or is it someplace in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style? Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 11:00, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to Template:Miss Universe 2016 delegates

[edit]

Hello. Your additions to Template:Miss Universe 2016 delegates have been removed. Please note that navigation templates are for navigating between Wikipedia articles, not redirects. Please do not add a name to the template unless it has a real Wikipedia article. • Gene93k (talk) 12:15, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You are repeatedly recreating the article despite the fact that it has been to the deletion discussion, and consensus was to delete. You just recreate the previous version, the same which has been discussed. Please stop recreating the article unless you can add reliable sources in sufficient number so that the article could be way better sourced. Thank you for understanding.--Ymblanter (talk) 07:16, 10 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello. A tag has been placed on Bojana Bojanić, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. • Gene93k (talk) 12:21, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Milesq. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Kamilla Asylova, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Kamilla Asylova to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

The article Lenty Frans has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Miss Universe 2018, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Miss Georgia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). A tag has been placed on Camila Barraza requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Rabiya Mateo

[edit]

Hi. I just noticed that the birthdate of Rabiya Mateo is wrong. It's not January 11, 1996 as claimed by the references provided there which are not reliable such as Dreshare (the source of their articles are from Facebook).

I would like to provide references instead and I hope you would help change her birthdate from January 11, 1996 into November 14, 1996. These are the reliable references proving that she was born on November 14, 1996:

I hope you will help me in this because the page of Rabiya Mateo is protected. Updating her birthdate using her real birthdate will avoid confusion to our readers. You can check the references I mentioned above as proofs for what I said. Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CCstrong (talkcontribs) 03:42, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, fellow editor. Good day. About the delegates, try to look out for other editors who try to vandal the page. May I know the name? I'd also want to see any similar edits they have made. Milesq (talk) 12:10, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The account doesn't have a name, it only has an IP address which is 49.149.134.117 though. Allyriana000 (talk) 13:39, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's their IP address and they forgot to log in, however IP addresses are universal so they may not be the only one using it. If they commit more vandalism outside pageants, then safe to say CheckUser's help will be needed. Milesq (talk) 01:28, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'd also want to add, the said user is misusing draft space as user space, and has already shown behavior of WP:NOTHERE. Milesq (talk) 01:35, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Good evening my fellow editor, this user Angellka Shurtschen (talk · contribs), has been vandalizing the article "Miss Universe 2022", and used cursed words to comment. She have also been saying that we're "blind" and "lazy". I tried to talk to her but she didn't respond. Here is the message:

B. L. I. N. D

Y'all so blind!!! Y'all so blind because u are all lazy. I said SEARCH it in WIKIPEDIA or GOOGLE about the references since I can't add it to my reference since I'm editing via phone. One day, you'll see that UAE we'll be joining that pageant and I know that and once you see that you'll never be sorry. I know I have a bad record in this WIKI, but please I found real one. Now, if y'all don't search that and you don't gimme permission to put UAE at MU 22 page, then y'all so unapologetically and meanie! y'all never showed me warm welcome. TYSMFHG!! Angellka Shurtschen (talk) 09:27, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Angellka Shurtschen: What do you mean we're blind, your references about Miss Universe UAE is about the first "Top 15" contestants which was for 2021. And, there is no response to the organization about the re-continued debut of the United Arab Emirates in Miss Universe. Plus, you are just using an "article" to gain information. You should know that Wikipedia is not a reliable source, as I already said that in the talk page of Miss Universe 2022. We didn't even get a response from you there even I pinged you. Again, for the last time, do not add content without proof, real proof, and never ever use references, which pointing about 2021 events, and using Wikipedia articles, as sources. The community warned you the other day, but now this is your second warning. You maybe blocked or banned in editing Wikipedia, as I keep repeating to tell that. Edit wars are a threat to the community, so we try our best to avoid it. And by the way, please avoid using bad or cursed words on commenting to talk pages and edit summaries, coz' Wikipedia is not a swearing place. We hope you understand all the policies of Wikipedia. Good day to you. LikeRealTimes I got you a message!📩 13:18, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
"IF U THINK THATS FAKE THEN F*CK YOURSELF YOU MEAN'", "LOOK MOTHERF*CKER", these are the words you said in one of the archives in the history page of "Miss Universe 2022". As I said, you keep using these words to gain attention to editors and administrators that your content is a reality. You need to stop that attitude. LikeRealTimes I got you a message!📩 13:26, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That's all of it. I'm just saying that you need to help me talk to her about her behavior in "vandalizing" and "swearing". Good day. LikeRealTimes I got you a message!📩 13:36, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That won't be that much of a problem. If you check their talk page, they have been warned just once by @Drmies that if they curse, threaten a user, or threaten to vandalize they will blocked without any hesitation. Also, to add, this user is clearly a sock of @Djciejboab who has their edit summaries with the same manner: All caps, swearing, as well as the use of emojis. If that can be added to the sanctions (abuse of multiple accounts) I'd be happy as well. Good day and I'd also love to be notified of any update. Milesq (talk) 14:50, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
LikeRealTimes, you are spending way too much time and effort on a troll (and you don't have to ping them on their own talk page, nor do you need to have a signature whose code is three lines long). Milesq, I don't know about that link; I cannot prove it right now and I don't really see the need for it. I blocked the account, and I blocked a sock of theirs, User talk:Gminkim; they'd been playing a little game between themselves. Take care, Drmies (talk) 15:17, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

hello fellow editor, so there's the proof, i was also shocked that Kyrgyzstan is joining like what Angela S. trying to edit and to put it in the page, it was actually real. Miss Universe Bangladesh 2022?

[edit]

Hello again, Milesq! When I was checking the official Facebook page of MUB (Miss Universe Bangladesh), I found this post:

I'v read the whole post and it says that since the 70th edition was held in Israel, the organization refrained from sending their delegate from the competition, and was hoping, or preparing for the 2022 event.

So the question is, can we consider adding Bangladesh to the list of returnees in Miss Universe 2022? I'll wait for your response. Good day! LikeRealTimes I got you a message!📩 08:34, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, there are cases that some countries say that they will return the folllwing year after withdrawing but never really took place eventually. I think MU Bangladesh has this case. They never posted any update for months so I doubt they will return for the meantime. But if they will post any update, only then we can consider adding them to the returnees list.
Also, if you wouldn't mind, can you help me watch Draft: Miss Universe 2023 for any vandalism or falso info? Before publishing it to the mainspace it should be accurate enough. I hope I answered your query! Milesq (talk) 10:56, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • And also, rumors said that Ruby Pouchet will represent the Dutch municipality in Miss Universe. Is it true?

I am still finding confirmation about these two questions. If these are not real, then it will be confirmed as a hoax, just like what happened to Guadeloupe. Let me know if you have an answer. Thanks a lot! LikeRealTimes I got you a message!📩 14:02, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I did some original research (still not countable as we still need actual sources) and Bonaire is still on the process on getting MU, so it's a 50-50. Safest way to do it is remove it for now (same as Madagascar who also needs sources to back it up). Milesq (talk) 01:06, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Milesq! I wish to know your opinion regarding a new section called "Gallery of contestants" at Miss Universe articles and Miss World articles. I've created a topic regarding the matter at the talk page of Miss Universe 2023 although I do not know if that is the right place to add that topic. Thank you! Miss Universe Philippines 2024

[edit]

Hello @Milesq. There is a talk about the article Miss Universe Philippines 2024, especially its selection of participants. It would be greatly appreciated if you give your opinion about it. I also find some paragraphs of that article to be unencyclopedic. Thank you! Allyriana000 (talk) 07:03, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Sciencefish (talk) 09:09, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
