Speedy deletion nomination of Leke Alder
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Leke Alder, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be a clear copyright infringement of http://theplatformnigeria.com/sites/2015/may/leke-alder.php. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Ckay (musician)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ckay (musician) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of Tatcoin
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Tatcoin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Josh2Funny moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Josh2Funny, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Undisclosed Paid
[edit]Hello Maihe101. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Maihe101. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Maihe101|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Celestina007 (talk) 23:57, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
Hello Celestina007, I wish to state that I am not receiving compensation in any way or form for creation or editing of Wikipedia, especially the article you moved to draft space. The subject (Josh2Funny) is a sensation in Nigeria. He is behind the globally viral #dontleavemechallenge that has become popular on the social media platforms Tik Tok and Instagram. He is very popular as a comedian in Nigeria and famous for originating a number of viral memes and impressions in the past. As a result of this, I deemed it fit to make an article for him. I don't know him in person, neither do I have any affiliations with him.
I have created articles in the past that have either been speedily deleted or nominated for deletion. As you can confirm, none of the articles was written in a promotional point of view.
With the benefit of hindsight, I now recognize that in truth, the nature of my edits gives the impression that I have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic. I can assure you that this is not the case.
I have taken the time to read the Wikimedia Terms of Use, and I can assure you that I will abide by every word of it going forward.
Maihe101 (talk) 00:15, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Maihe101, beautiful! Then you should have no problems forthwith! I’d ask that you read a few of our guidelines pertaining to notability. For comedians you may need to read WP:ENT, WP:BASIC & WP:GNG. Satisfying either would be sufficient. My little sister has been mentioning the #dontleaveme challenge to me all week but bleh I couldn’t care less. Anyways if or not he initiated that “challenge” is very much insignificant. If he satisfies any of the aforementioned policies then he is notable but if he doesn’t then he is not. Thank you for your time. Celestina007 (talk) 00:58, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
Your draft article, Draft:Josh2Funny
[edit]Hello, Maihe101. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Josh2Funny".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 05:38, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

Ani notice
[edit]There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Celestina007 (talk) 00:39, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
I have read about your notification nominating me to be blocked indefinitely, citing a string of articles I created that were against Wikipedia's guidelines.
I think it's a bit unfair to cite only articles that were nominated for deletion for one reason or another.
I have had articles that were reviewed and allowed a namespace on Wikipedia.
The last two articles I created were not nominated for deletion. Although not perfect, they were not deemed to be against Wikipedia's guidelines. And I intend to keep working and improving on them.
I have answered before that I don't breach wiki guidelines deliberately.
I deeply apologize for any wrongdoing. I will consider this my last warning.
I haven't been around much of the year because I was dealing with the loss of my grandma.
Thanks. Maihe101 (talk) 00:58, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
- Excuse me, I didn’t cite, nor did I only present articles you created that were deleted at ANI in my evidence, I cited the entirety of your talk page, the fact that you have been questioned before about UPE that you didn’t reply & the fact that you only create promotional articles for non notable persons, are you sure you read the evidence against you thoroughly? Furthermore please defend yourself at ANI & not here. Celestina007 (talk) 02:04, 20 November 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Motolani Alake
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Motolani Alake requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Liz Read! Talk! 16:18, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
The article Motolani Alake has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
BLP lacks in-depth coverage in independent sources
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. MrsSnoozyTurtle 07:26, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
