Calgary Intl Airport (YYC) deletion.
Hello and good evening. On 10/14/17 at 15:12, I added to the page in the end of the second paragraph;YYC has a total land area of 21.36 square kilometers (8.25 square miles). which was deleted on January 8,2018. The reverting editor said it was out of place and unsourced.If you go to the Calgary Intl Airport website,click media,then Fact Sheet Land/Area,it is there. Maybe put it under the runways section and source it to the website page.Again, thanks for your time.2601:581:8500:949C:304C:CD3D:3958:6A95 (talk) 01:03, 11 January 2018 (UTC) Done.thank you anyway.Have a good weekend.2601:581:8500:949C:ADA0:CCB3:280B:1A17 (talk) 23:10, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry about not getting that done for you, it's been a really long week at work and I haven't had too much free time for Wikipedia. I was going to work on it over the weekend. If you have issues with it getting reverted again please let me know and I will fix it for you. --KDTW Flyer (talk) 03:20, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
Reference additions
Hello,the Calgary Airport issue is resolved,however the editor says I should reference my additions,and he is right, I am having problems doing that,so going through my Wikipedia additions, there are about 20 airports or so I"ve done that need this,so I will give you 5 airports at a time once a month.So lets starts with these;
- Pittsburgh Intl Airport:where it says PIT occupies 10,000 acres.. Direct to Reference #6.
- Richmond Intl Airport:where it says in intro RIC covers 2,500 acres of land..Direct to Reference #1.
- Eugene Airport:where it says EUG covers 2,600 acres... Direct to Reference #2. Redirect again to General Information on Form 5010, if possible.
- Bellingham Intl Airport:where it says BLI covers 2,190 acres...ADD reference:FAA Master Plan for BLI(Form 5010) (not in references).
- George Bush Intercontinental Airport:where it says IAH covers 10,000 acres....ADD reference:FAA Master Plan for IAH(form 5010) (not in references).
I wish someone can show me how to do this. It is important when making additions. Thanks and have a great weekend.2601:581:8500:949C:ADA0:CCB3:280B:1A17 (talk) 16:32, 13 January 2018 (UTC)

Request for Participation at WT: Airports
As you may be aware, there was a recent discussion on the talk page of WP:Airports which prematurely and without consensus resulted in mass changes to airport articles throughout Wikipedia. Before a drastic change like this is put into practice, it is important to have clear consensus, which from my readings as an observer, did not occur. Many of these changes started to occur before any real discussion had taken place, and despite much disagreement from some community members. Disagreement is good -- it's great actually -- without it nothing would ever get done. But it's important that everyone opinions are heard fairly and accurately, and that significant changes like merging the Regional Airline destinations with the Mainline destinations are not done without such consensus. I encourage you, as someone involved in WP:Airports and the original discussion, to voice your opinions and discuss with others about how we should move forward at this point. Positive and constructive conversation is the way to a consensus. I also ask that everyone (myself included) ceases merging or un-merging mainline/regional destinations until a censuses is reached. Please contribute to the conversation here. Tofutwitch11 (TALK) 00:52, 30 January 2018 (UTC)

United skid
The plane is actually still at KGRB it is parked at a gate. A new aircraft arrived from KORD and brought the passengers to MSP I have pictures that the aircraft is still there Disneynutty1398 (talk) 00:09, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Disneynutty1398: You are correct! From my reading of news articles about this incident, I got the impression that the plane had left. I also saw on a flight tracking website that a United 737 had left the airport for MSP which I now realize came to pick up the passengers and take them to MSP. Thanks for notifying me of my mistake, I have removed the sentence about the plane leaving from the GRB article. Have an awesome weekend and happy editing!!!! --KDTW Flyer (talk) 02:56, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
Question
Do you think sooner or later KGRB will have a new destination or airline? FlyCapri is a possibility, but KGRB is the only major airport in Wisconsin to not have a destination or new airline from last year and or this year. They are also the only one to not have renovations or expansions (Milwaukee has a posibility of getting an international Terminal) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Disneynutty1398 (talk • contribs) 18:38, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
- I'm no expert but I think there is a chance of seeing something new within the next few years. New routes can take a while to get implanted because there's a lot of lengthy research that needs to be done before an airline makes the final decision on where they want to expand, I know of one instance where it took American Airlines 10 years of planning before they started a new route out an airport last year. Be patient, I can guarantee to you that Delta, United, and American have KGRB in their minds for places to add routes out of, they just have to find the perfect city to expand into. --KDTW Flyer (talk) 21:06, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
GRB will have a new airport director very soon, he or she may push for some expansion. Actually, EAU, RHI, LSE and CWA did not add routes, though LSE now has CRJ-700s on two routes to ORD. AirOpsExecnPlt (talk) 20:23, 25 February 2018 (UTC) As you may know, the big three airlines are looking for business connection travelers, while Allegiant in ATW and MKE are looking for cold tourists to take to warm cities, so the goal of GRB city council is one key point. AirOpsExecnPlt (talk) 20:29, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
- I know that last year United upgraded some of their flights over the summer to larger aircraft at GRB and just a few weeks ago there was a news article that got published by a local source talking about how Delta and American were planning on upgrading some of their flights out of GRB to slightly larger aircraft this year. --KDTW Flyer (talk) 00:29, 27 February 2018 (UTC)

JWB edits
Couldn’t help but notice you made a run of edits all with the summary “The infobox now automatically creates a caption for the US map and other Clean Up (via WP:JWB))” when in fact there was often not a US map caption involved in the actual changes and in at least one case no infobox either. [1] As I’m sure you are aware, edit summaries are supposed to reflect what you actually did with each particular edit as opposed to some canned summary with no relation to the actual edit, automated tools or not. Please be more careful in the future. Thanks. Beeblebrox (talk) 17:05, 27 May 2018 (UTC)

Good afternoon.These additions are a little different.These are foreign airports, so certain websites have to be accessed to source my additions.Take your time.If too daunting, just do my last two requests. Here we go;
- Schipol Airport(AMS)-scroll down to runways,where it says AMS covers a total area of 6,887 acres....Google: Schipol|Airport Facts about Dutch Int"l Airport-scroll down, hectares are there, use as source.
- Frankfurt Airport(FRA)-first paragraph,where it says the airport covers an area of 2,300 hectares...Google:Facts and Figures at FRA, scroll down,has hectares, use as source.
- Munich Airport(MUC)- scroll down to terminals and facilities,where it says Munich Airport covers 3,892 acres (1,575 ha).. Google:Facts and Figures-Munich Airport, scroll down a little, first factbox with size of airport, use as source.
- Halifax-Stanfield Int"l Airport(YHZ)-scroll down to runways and taxiways, where it says YHZ covers a total area of 2,372 acres (960 ha)… Go to airport website,click Airport Authority, then Media Centre, then Airport Facts and Stats, then Airport Specs, has hectares at top, use as source.
- Toronto Pearson Int"l Airport(YYZ)-scroll down to runways. After sentence that ends with..airport hangar areas, (ADD) The airport occupies 4,613 acres (1,867 ha) of land. (Was deleted 3 months ago). Go to Reference #7 at bottom of article,Chapter 14:Land Use, use pages 14.1 and 14.3 as source.
- Akron Canton Airport(CAK)-scroll down to Accidents and Incidents, where it says On November 4, 1949... Go to Aviation Safety Network, click database,then Airports list, then USA, then Akron-Canton Airport, has list of accidents at airport at top, use page as source.
Thank you for this. Take your time. Small requests will come in the future, if any. Have a great weekend and summer.2601:581:8000:21B0:5594:DD9B:1332:2A0F (talk) 18:59, 4 August 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:11, 31 August 2018 (UTC)

First Event held in the Fiserv Fourm
Re: http://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Fiserv_Forum&diff=861914130&oldid=861755053
This event is significant and noteworthy because it is the very first event held in the facility.
The section "Concerts and events" doesn't discriminate between events that are open to the public, ticketed events, or private events. The very first event held is very significant, and should be listed.
As for the rest of the table, I would suggest that the first event of a certain type be listed, but all subsequent event be struck from the page, as digital noise. List the first concert, first comedian, first lecture, first Basketball game, etc... But no need to list all of the events. Just the significant ones, which would be the first ones.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.92.25.15 (talk) 08:56 22 October 2018 (UTC)
LAX and PHL FAA diagram updates
Hello and good day. Can you update (change) the FAA diagrams in the inboxes on right hand side for Los Angeles Int'l Airport and Philadelphia Int'l airports please. Look at reference sections of each article and look at the FAA diagrams dated October 11, 2018, both airports have had significant runway extensions and the FAA diagrams there now don't reflect that, are outdated. Thank you for your help and have a good day.2601:581:8000:21B0:304C:CD3D:3958:6A95 (talk) 15:05, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
