[edit]![](http://up.wiki.x.io/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/15/Ambox_warning_pn.svg/48px-Ambox_warning_pn.svg.png)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Willdabeast, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
- Provide a new username.
To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.
Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Fathoms Below (talk) 21:51, 21 January 2025 (UTC)![](http://up.wiki.x.io/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/cf/Appointment_green.svg/48px-Appointment_green.svg.png)

Below I attached an example of how I will make changes:
- Willdabeast are an American instrumental electronic music producer- duo based in Bellingham, WA that feature live horns in their recordings and performances and are also the co-founders of Grand Alliance Music[1]. They are the co-founders of the Michal Menert Big Band, Michal Menert and the Pretty Fantastics and one of the last artist to release on the Super Best Records label and who were an integral part of Menert's Pretty Fantastics, and Big Band era. As a horn section, the duo also recording several tracks on Menert's Space Jazz album [2] [3], as well as contributing writing and recording credits on the first Pretty Fantastics album '1'. Menert tours with a 7 piece band including MC, violin, and DJ and horns (Willdabeast).
- Willdabeast has toured the United States and has played live shows as a solo act and as part of the Michal Menert Big Band and Michal Menert's Pretty Fantastics [4].
- The group as a duo has played at a wide range of music festivals, including Summer Meltdown [5] Cascade Equinox Festival, APOG, CascadiaNW Arts and Music Festival, Bellingham Exit Festival[6], Shredded Beats Festival, Summer Camp Music Festival, Northwest Recess Festival and others. They have also been on stage as part of other performing acts as live such as Defunk [Shambhala (music festival 2019, Sonic Bloom Music Festival 2018], Michal Menert (Red Rocks Amphitheater 2016, 2018) among others. From 2014-2018, Willdabeast served as the principle horn players in several notable groups, performing and recording in: Snug Harbor (with Bernie Worrel), Yogoman Burning Man, and My Dad Bruce. Willdabeast has a long list of collaborations and has been issued recording credits on or with several contemporary musicians such as GRiZ, Defunk, Kaptain, Phunk Bias, Late Night Radio, Matt Van den Heuvel, Cosmos, more.
- The group has been part of several side projects including Chilldabeast, Sassabrass and also going simply by their given names Will Glazier and Dan de Lisle on occasion.
- Members
- Will Glazier– Trumpet/producer
- Dan de Lisle – Flute/Trombone
- Glazier holds a bachelor's degree from the Western Washington University[7], and de Lisle has been a touring musician, including with Willdabeast, Menert and Snug Harbor which is currently on hiatus.
- Early life
- Will Glazier [8] was born in Los Angeles, CA and spent his early years in Buffalo, NY as part of the ska/punk band Cherry Bing [9] in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with some members of Passion Pit and later Cute Is What We Aim For. Glazier's parents were professionals in academia and often encouraged his passions and hobbies through music at an early age, and would fill the house with avant-garde jazz and Western music. His father, Loss Glazier, had a passion for poetry, academics and world travel.
- In 2004, after several small tours and recordings, the band Cherry Bing was on the brink of signing their first label contract with Drive Thru Records. The group instead disbanded and a controversial second group (Cute Is What We Aim For) emerged from two existing members, Shaant Haciykan and Jeff Czum who went on to sign their own contract on Fueled by Ramen without any other members. The controversy sparked some local outrage within the group, which some attribute as an ultimate catalyst to Glazier's departure from the group and Western New York.
- In 2006, Glazier uprooted after almost 2 decades in Buffalo, NY and jumped coasts to Bellingham, WA to complete his recording and musical engineering degree at Western Washington University. Glazier began playing with many groups in the area including what would eventually become Snug Harbor, Yogoman Burning Band, Lucky Brown and the Funk Revolution, Mr. Feel Good and The Firm Believers, My Dad Bruce and more. For over a decade the group Snug Harbor performed as a 7 piece funk and soul revival group eventually becoming Michal Menert's backing band. In University studies, Glazier created the idea of Snug Harbor and in doing so, crossed paths with Dan de Lisle in a classroom. At this time, the two were complete strangers, but a passion of music led them together and in each iteration, the two have often been seen together as an inseparable unit ensemble.
- The pair, together with a guitar player (Matt van den Heuvel) and Menert, began making music for years together and launched what would eventually be known as the Michal Menert Big Band. Their first three shows were performed together Sonic Bloom[10], The Fillmore and Red Rocks Amphitheater.
- Side Projects
- Sassabrass
- The duo are part of jam band/electronica supergroup Sassabrass, composed of members from Willdabeast, Phunk Bias, and often featured guests.
- Chilldabeast
- The duo are part of Chilldabeast, a lo-fi, boom bap inspired chill hop group that focuses on downtempo and 'chill' versions of produced version of electronic based music productions.

I moved your unblock request to the bottom of the page. Please place new talk page postings at the bottom, so that discussions appear in the correct chronological order.
I also fixed your unblock request because it used square brackets and was missing two curly brackets at the end. The combination of these prevented the template from rendering properly, and admins would have never noticed your request.
Do you have any personal or professional connection to Grand Alliance Music and/or the members of Willdabeast? --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:45, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you.
- No I do not. I noticed errors in your site dating all the way back to the Michal Menert pages. They are in that band too and started that group but it won't let me update it. There's lots of rules to this I'm noticing. It's a lot. I'm doing my very best. No I don't. I'm a fan of Pretty Lights. These guys used to play music with them. I'm just trying to help people connect the dots. GrandAllianceMusic (talk) 20:57, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
- (Non-administrator comment) Just to clarify, one of the main reasons why you were blocked is that your username gave the impression that you were a music company/label – if you don't have any connection to them, it's good to know. I admit that some rules might be a bit confusing for beginners, here's a quick guide with the most important stuff if you want! Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 00:44, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
- I have performed the requested rename. I will leave it up to Fathoms Below as to whether to grant the unblock. --Ahecht (TALK
