Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Notice

The article Koushik Ghosh (mathematician) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Like most assistant professors he not appear to pass WP:PROF. Citations are too low for #C1, local awards are not enough for #C2, and editorial board membership (rather than editor-in-chief positions for a notable journal) are not enough for #C8. Publishing many works is not a notability criterion at all; it is the impact of the works that matters.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —David Eppstein (talk) 23:40, 15 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Souvik Bose has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Promotional writing with no refs to support any of the claims of notability. There need to be multiple independent in-depth sources about him, not just a pile of his primary-research publications claiming their own value.

Rahul Shrivastava moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Rahul Shrivastava, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
