This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.

The comment the reviewer left was:

This is advocacy for the society, not neutral history. Before doing anythign else, make certain that nothing i copied or closely paraphrased from any previous publication.

After that, the first step is to remove all adjectives, and phrases of praise or importance--the significance of the gorup should be shown by a brief neutral sourced description of the work it has done. The second step is reorganization. The background section should go after the history, and need only link to the articles on well-known developments, not discuss them. (In the later sections also it is not necessary to give the gneneral principles of Jewish charitable work--we have articles on the topic already) The third step remove mentions of people who were not primary leaders of the group--the general reader wil not be interested in them.

The net result should be an article about half the size. With every important concept specifically referenced -- if from a book, the page is necessary.

Addditional, the references speak primary about hte JDC. Is this one of the organization they sponsor? The relationship needs to be explained further
