Ikwerre people
[edit]What is your problem, dragging ethnicity that does not belong to you. Why won’t you let the ikwerre man tell his story. Ikwerre people are not and will never be Igbo. If an ikwerre man becomes President will you agree that an Igbo man has ruled Nigeria? Stay away from our page. Miztan9 (talk) 14:08, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Evafancy38 is been disruptive without leaving descriptions and clearly trying to change the narrative of a tribe. I will be reporting him to Wikipedia as a troll as he is not making any contribution to knowledge but bigotry. Miztan9 (talk) 14:28, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- Stop playing politics with Ikwerre people Evafancy38 (talk) 14:37, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- Stop playing politics with Ikwerre identity. Why did you change the initial history of Ikwerre? Evafancy38 (talk) 14:38, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- I am a son of Evo, A possible heir to the stool of Oha Evo and Nyewe-Eli Woji! Why should I want to distort the history of my people? The Ikwerre man has said it, the constitution of Nigeria has recognized us a distinct group but you igbos keep trying to annex us. Read up mutual intelligibility in linguistics. I gave you a clear example of Spanish and Portuguese they understand each other but yet a different language. We have a lot of them in Europe and you don’t see them annexing people. This is how the aborigines of Australia lost their language and trying to get them back. Let the Ikwerre man be, you are free to contribute to credible knowledge with descriptions and citations that is of ikwerre decent, else edit other pages and leave ikwerre people to tell ikwerre history, you can’t cry more than the bereaved. - You have no right to distort the history of people that have been in existence before you were born! Evafancy38 (talk) 08:02, 23 October 2024 (UTC)

- See the individual you expect us to "talk" with. People like him are out to distort the history of others to massage their ego.
- Google News search on the topic: https://www.google.com/search?q=ikwerre+people&tbm=nws ObiWali (talk) 03:02, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
- I have no knowledge of or interest in the topic. What you and the other editors involved are doing is edit warring, which is prohibited, as you've been informed of in the past several times. There are many constructive avenues to settle your dispute, namely having a good faith discussion on the article talk pages, or if you're unable to do so, the dispute resolution noticebaord. Continued edit warring, on the other hand, will more than likely lead to a block for those involved once an administrator sees what's been happening.
- Furthermore, the message in which you pinged me could be construed as a personal attack, and I would strongly encourage you to cut that out moving forward. LaffyTaffer (talk) 03:39, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
- Okay. Thank you. ObiWali (talk) 09:21, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ikwerre people. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. LaffyTaffer (talk) 15:53, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
