The article Major Matt Mason (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- A film that has not commenced filming, therefore not notable per WP:NFF
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

Just a heads-up. I tagged your article for its issues with sourcing. While the organization may well be notable, per WP:RS, articles found in wordpress.com are self-published and not reliable sources. Another concern is that citations to various school websites are not considered suitable independent secondary sources. I encourage you to find better sources with which to cite the article, else it might be sent to AFD. Good luck. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 23:37, 27 May 2012 (UTC)

Nonfree content on your userpage
Per the policies on the usage of non-free images on Wikipedia, non-free images are not allowed on pages outside of the article namespace, including userpages. An image on your user page is copyrighted and unlicensed, so I had to remove it. I've taken the liberty of substituting the closest free alternative I could turn up in a cursory search. You are, of course, free to remove it or to substitute any other free image. I'm sorry if you are upset by my editing your page without your permission, but this is a rule where Wikipedia allows no exceptions. I want to make sure you know that this isn't personal. No offense intended, but you seem to have confused merge with redirect at the discussion. While a WP:Merge of content could possibly overwhelm a target, setting a simple WP:Redirect to it does not. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 10:42, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
As your nomination has resulted in issues being addressed through regular editing, and the article is now an expandable and decently sourced stub, perhaps you might now consider a withdrawal? Regards, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 14:30, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- Well... This is embarrassing. I have no idea how to withdraw it. Instead of me having to look through the guidelines on how to do it, could you just kindly explain to me how it can be done? Bonkers The Clown (talk) 06:46, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
One way to make a withdrawal quickly obvious is to perform a strikethrough of your nom statement using "<s> </s>" and then wriring a new opinion stating your wish to withdraw... giving us something like
No citations. Besides, The Matrimony is not one of the films in the filmography section of the Fan Bing Bing article. Bonkers The Clown (talk) 06:05, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Withdraw my nomination All my concerns have been addressed. - Bonkers The Clown (talk) 0X:XX, XX June 2012
Or rather than a strikethhough, you may simply add a withdrawal statement at the bottom of the discussion as a new !vote thusly:
- Withdraw nomination All my concerns have been addressed. My thanks to those who improved the article. - Bonkers The Clown (talk) 0X:XX, XX June 2012
Then it is simply a matter of waiting for the discussion to be closed. I appreciate your asking. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 15:56, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Tay Chee Toh, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://infopedia.nl.sg/index.htm.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Your addition to Tay Chee Toh has been removed or altered, as it appears to closely paraphrase http://infopedia.nl.sg/articles/SIP_1883_2012-05-22.html, a copyrighted source. Limited close paraphrasing or quotation is appropriate within reason, so long as the material is clearly attributed in the text. However, longer paraphrases which are not attributed to their source may constitute copyright violation or plagiarism, and are not acceptable on Wikipedia. Such content cannot be hosted here for legal reasons; please do not upload it. You may use external websites or printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If you own the copyright to the text, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the copyright but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you.
Speedy deletion nomination of St George Baron Le Poer Crozier
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on St George Baron Le Poer Crozier requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. VQuakr (talk) 08:09, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Reasonable, but...
This edit would have been absolutely proper 3 or 4 years ago when sites were collected and considered under "Links normally to be avoided" at WP:ELNO. But what has been happening more and more of late is that many production companies are now actually taking advantage of Facebook popuarity and ease of use to use it as one of their "official sources" for the dissemination of information to as many people as possible in a no-cost viewer-friendly environment where they can also elicit feedback from their target demographic... much as the film's Grand Conspiracy Films LLC has done. If the removed link was to an "page" set up by article's subject and the content is controlled by the subject, on Facebook or not, it would then fall under WP:ELOFFICIAL and be exempt from the links normally to be avoided. From looking, it appears THIS was put up by the production's page, while this other one appears to be someone mirroring the Wikipedia page. The issue in this case is not of too great a concern, as the article should be incubated rather than returned to its author. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 22:30, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

The Joker
The Joker is a comic book character and the article looks at the comic book character. It is not there to examine people who may believe they are the character. At present we have no confirmation that James Eagan Holmes actually believes himself to be 'The Joker', just a report from two officers at the scene, and without context. Also he is not a 'real life' Joker, just a badly damaged human who commited a terrible crime. It's lazy journalism and sensationalism to state that he is. The inclusion of this information will not aid your understanding of the comic book character of the Joker, or the people who created him. You wouldn't find this information in an encyclopedia article on the subject of the Joker. Hope that helps.FruitMonkey (talk) 09:22, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

DYK nomination of United Overseas Bank
Hello! Your submission of United Overseas Bank at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Chris857 (talk) 23:56, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
This is with regards to your recent edit to the biography page on Lee Kuan Yew. Your recently inserted assertion is not backed up by any reliable sources and has been reverted. Please be careful with biographies of living persons as any unreferenced or poorly sourced material can be removed at sight by the editors of the project. Repeated violations of the biographies of living persons' policy can result in revocation of editing privileges. Thanks. — Nearly Headless Nick {c} 14:29, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- okay... So it was just because my edit was not referenced. But please see List of modern dictators. LKY is included. That is my rationale for including that small fact in the actual LKY article. Bonkers The Clown (talk) 14:36, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing out that page. I have removed LKY's entry from the list as it is a BLP violation. If you wish to discuss the contents of the page, I believe Talk:Lee Kuan Yew would be a more appropriate venue. — Nearly Headless Nick {c} 14:43, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- Okay. Thank you. Though I must add that there are sources backing up that claim. See Benevolent dictatorship. LKY also included there, but this page has a source backing up the claim that LKY is a dictator, unlike the former page. Alright.... I shall address new issues on lkys talk page now. Bonkers The Clown (talk) 14:46, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for pointing out yet another violation of WP:BLP. I have modified the page accordingly. Opinion editorials by journalists often make rhetorical claims and should not be used as sources for articles. Wikipedia will entertain a certain opinion by an author, journalist, expert or an academician only if it has received due weightage amongst reliable sources. — Nearly Headless Nick {c} 14:56, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- Okay. A real thanks for clarifying everything (as to why it's a BLP violation) Bonkers The Clown (talk) 14:58, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

List of unreleased Lady Gaga material
You moved this from List of unreleased Lady Gaga songs, with the edit summary, per WPSONGS, please can you show me the relevant section? Thanks. --Richhoncho (talk) 14:21, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
- The original page was not titled List of unreleased Lady Gaga songs, but instead just Unreleased Lady Gaga songs. [1] Per naming conventions, all list pages titles should start with "List of..." and hence the change. If your question is why I changed "songs" with "material", I did that as I think "material" can encompass other unreleased stuff, such as videos, books, etc., so that in the future, if theres any news on unreleased lady gaga videos, etc, there would be no need for a separate article. But if you think otherwise, I'd have no objection for a move to "List of unreleased Lady Gaga songs". Bonkers The Clown (talk) 04:23, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
- There is no categorization for unreleased lists, they are all in Category:Unreleased songs, presently there are; 6 List of unreleased songs, 3 List of unreleased material, and 3 unreleased this and that. Standardization of cat schemes is WP policy and not just WP:Songs, but your move doesn't actually standardize. I shall take up your offer and move to songs - "unreleased material" sounds so terminal! LOL. Cheers. --Richhoncho (talk) 07:55, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

I've removed your proposed merger to Judy Garland as the nomination was incomplete and unexplained. To suggest a merge, you will need to add a template at the target article as well. I'll remove them as well if not corrected shortly. Thanks. - SummerPhD (talk) 23:49, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

You have still failed to address WP:UNDUE concerns. The "little known fact" does not have enough weight to be placed in the WP:LEDE section. That should not be too difficult to understand. Re: Dyk for the bullet vanishes
I am unable to swap the current hook for The Bullet Vanishes at this time because the alternate hook has not been approved by any reviewer (the alternate hook was proposed at the same time the original hook was approved[2]). As an alternative course of action, it would be possible to pull the hook and return the nomination to Template talk:Did you know. This would give you some time to find another reviewer willing to approve the alternate hook. The down side is there is no way to know how long this might take and it is possible a different set preparer could promote the hook and put you back in the position you are currently dealing with. --Allen3 talk 11:58, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for pitching in to answer questions at The Teahouse
Hey, thanks for helping pitch in to answer questions at the Teahouse. I noticed that you've responded to a question recently about removing article improvement tags. Just a few things to keep in mind when responding to questions there:
- Consider signing up as a Teahouse Host. It isn't strictly manadatory to do so, but it does allow the hosts of the Teahouse to coordinate and work together to keep the Teahouse running efficiently. You can do so at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Host start.
- Please also read Wikipedia:Teahouse/Host lounge/Expectations. We're trying to make the Teahouse different from other help boards at Wikipedia (like the Help Desk). There's nothing wrong with how questions are answered at the help desk, and indeed your most recent answers would have been fine there. However, we're trying to do something different at the Teahouse, and that includes the way in which we answer questions. We're trying to be a bit more welcoming and conversational, so it is usually best practice there to greet every question asker with a "Hello so-and-so" or "Welcome to the Teahouse so-and-so". Also, we're trying to explain answers in simple, but also complete and detailed, responses. It is important not to be too brief in one's response, especially when using "Wiki-jargon" that a new user may not be familiar with. Your recent answer included a response that said "Suree... Formatting, wikilinking... The usual cleanup." Well, the problem is that the new user may be unfamiliar with what formatting of a Wikipedia article entails, what "wikilinking" means and what is "usual" for Wikipedia. Just be sure to explain, in plain conversational language, exactly what sort of things need to be done and how to do it, and don't assume that a new user will know what the terms we use here every day even mean.
- Anyhoo, thanks again for pitching in to help, we definitely look forward to further help at The Teahouse, just keep in mind the above guidelines to ensure that the Teahouse works to maximum efficiency. Thanks! --Jayron32 12:45, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

Whack! You've been whacked with a wet trout. Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly. |
For trying to speedy an article that obviously didn't meet A1 criteria and compounding the felony by putting a "first article" template on the page of a user who has created several million articles. Joefromrandb (talk) 15:44, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Modulating stress responses by the UPRosome: A matter of life and death
Hello Bonkers The Clown. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Modulating stress responses by the UPRosome: A matter of life and death, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: this is probably OR, but not a test page - let the AfD take care of it. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 10:01, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hello JohnCD. Well, I wasn't really sure what to tag it for; it didn't seem like vandalism, didn't seem like nonsense, so eventually I settled for it being a test page. It does seem sensible to speedy it, but I'm sure you know better, so if you say so... Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 10:04, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Was there any need to name names?
Was there any need to name names like this, that seemed like a borderline personal attack. I don't know if guy is an WP:ILIKEIT fanboy, but I think you could have made your point without naming names like that. Because you called it a "nonsensical series", someone else could say:
"Also be wary for all those WP:IDONTLIKEIT votes that might appear later on... I know Captain Underpants haters (like User:Bonkers The Clown) can't bear to let such pages related to Captain Underpants stay... (But too bad.)"
Don't misunderstand me I'm not saying that that you are a WP:IDONTLIKEIT hater, I'm just saying that you wouldn't like it if someone treated you the way your treating Lerdthenerd. Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 10:35, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
- Didn't mean for it to be like a personal attack, I was just listing the reasons for retention and the uncredibility of the previous afd. Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 10:45, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
- But... I wouldn't mind if you were to call me a hater of Captain Underpants, because I am. (I think?) But point taken. Really didn't mean for my comment to be view negatively. Cheers. Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 10:45, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
- I was thinking that if you removed the name and the diff your post would be fine, but your solution works too. The dif is probably OK and text you removed is OK, it's just both together that's a problem. Also there's quite a difference between being a Captain Underpants hater and being an WP:IDONTLIKEIT hater. Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 11:08, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

Your rollback request
Hi Bonkers The Clown, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert any other type of edit - such as by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with - can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. If you think an edit should require a reason for reverting, use a manual edit summary instead of using the rollback tool. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 18:12, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

Ferlo Desert
HI Bonkers The Clown. I wanted to circle back with you regarding Ferlo Desert, which you tagged as a CSD. The article has subsequently been expanded, passed through the DYK nom process, and appeared on the main page. I'm not sure if you are aware that most geo articles are considered notable and should never be deleted? Many could benefit from expansion, but as long as they do exist on the planet, we keep them, even as stubs. As for this one, a desert which covers 1/3 of the country of Senegal, well, it certainly is an important article. Let me know if you'd like to collaborate on expanding geo articles in the future as I'm always happy to work with another editor in this regard... especially African, Asian, and South Am geo articles... avoiding systematic bias and all that. Cheers, --Rosiestep (talk) 21:51, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
It has been over ten days, yet you have not responded to the earlier note on problems with this DYK nomination. As you have been actively editing Wikipedia, it is important that you respond to this nomination; otherwise, it will soon be closed due to lack of interest. Hope to see you posting there by the end of the month. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:01, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Bonkers, are you going to try to complete the expansion of this article to the minimum 1500 characters, or have you abandoned it? If the latter, please let us know so we can delete it from the nominations page. Gatoclass (talk) 07:32, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- I don't wish to abandon it, but I can't find anything else... If nobody else would like to add in more, then I guess I'd just have to dump it. Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 12:17, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

bro go ahead and delete that article. although i don't see its entry on afd, so i can't very well go there and say this. i vaguely remember editing it like literal years ago, back when we had to be afraid of pterodactyl attacks and the like. so, you know, purge away. it's gross. xoxo ... aa:talk 23:15, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

DYK for Ah Boys to Men
On 7 December 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Ah Boys to Men, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the Singaporean army comedy Ah Boys to Men is meant to commemorate the 45th anniversary of Singapore's National Service? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ah Boys to Men. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Orphaned non-free media (File:Talesofsuspense61cover.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Talesofsuspense61cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:21, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

The article Trolls (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- WP:NFF - In the case of animated films, reliable sources must confirm that the film is clearly out of the pre-production process, meaning that the final animation frames are actively being drawn and/or rendered, and final recordings of voice-overs and music have commenced
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Onorem♠Dil 12:57, 15 December 2012 (UTC)

Are you stalking my edits? Will you nominate the posters and Homerun screenshots next? Have you written any GAs? --J.L.W.S. The Special One (talk) 12:13, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
- That's very bad-faith. Rules are rules, and perhaps you have yet to fully understand the non-free content policies. Posters, yes, can stay, but very often NOT screenshots of scenes. I was not stalking you, just that your edits were reflected on my Watchlist (I Not Stupid is in my Watchlist) and yes, thanks for alerting me... I WILL nominate the Homerun screenshots. Cheers. Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 14:30, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
- I Not Stupid and Homerun (film), the first two of my eleven GAs, were written in 2007, and the fair use rationales were prepared by an admin, User:Haemo. The non-free content policies have become far more restrictive over the years and I no longer upload images (whether free or non-free) for my GAs. Your pattern of edits did feel like stalking, but I accept your explanation. By the way, you botched up the nomination of the Homerun screenshots, and I doubt you understand our article inclusion policies. Removing valid prods by two different editors, for an article you created (Trolls (film)), is discouraged. Instead of creating many short articles and filing many deletion nominations, I suggest that you focus on writing quality articles (such as GAs) instead. --J.L.W.S. The Special One (talk) 14:22, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
- I very much do understand what should and what should not stay. They might have valid prods, but I too have a valid reason to keep. (Did you notice that I included a reason as to why I removed the prod tag in my edit summary?) If they (the prodders) still think otherwise, they could always proceed to take it to AfD (the standard protocol), but I don't see that happening. Just like the NFCC policies, the GA criteria now, as compared with the one a few years ago, is different. In fact, I don't really think I Not Stupid and Homerun really are GA quality, no offense. What qualified as a GA in 2007, 2008, might not be one today. On the short run, I am gunning for as many DYKs as possible... On the long run, maybe I'll start trying to write more "quality" articles like GAs. But not now. The botch-up of the nominations, I guess it's Twinkle acting up again. (I [an admittedly lazy clown] have not manually transcluded deletion nominations since I installed Twinkle) Cheers. Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 06:42, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- And why not, instead of looking at my short articles, look at my long ones? (One such article that I'm quite satisfied with would be Ah Boys to Men.) Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 06:42, 31 December 2012 (UTC)

Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:29, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

- The only worry is some of the sourcing. Amazon? A sales site? A filmography can be attributed to the films themselves, as one of the few primaries okay'd by practice within Project Film... and can no doubt be found on places other than sales sites, What'cha think? Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 18:57, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, some of the sources should be removed, like the Amazon one, which I did remove. Primary sources can be used for things relating to themselves only... And yes, I agree with your viewpoint. With bad sourcing cleared, I would (if I could) give a straight DYK tick! Cheers. Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 11:56, 30 December 2012 (UTC)

Beyond (2012 TV series)
An anon ip added the copyvio in the last day (see [3]) so I simply reverted that back to the (admittedly crummy) non-copyvio text. The article seems okay otherwise. Best, Mackensen (talk) 15:03, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to the 2013 WikiCup!
Hello Bonkers The Clown, and welcome to the 2013 WikiCup! Your submissions' page is here. The competition begins at midnight UTC. The first round will last until the end of February, at which point the top 64 scorers will advance to the second round. We will be in touch at the end of every month, and signups are going to remain open until the end of January; if you know of anyone else who may like to take part, please let them know! A few reminders: *The rules can be found here. There have been a few changes from last year, which are listed on that page. *Anything you submit must have been nominated and promoted in 2013, and you need to have completed significant work upon it in 2013. (The articles you review at good article reviews does not need to have been nominated in 2013, but you do need to have started the review in 2013.) We will be checking. *If you feel that another competitor is breaking the rules or abusing the competition in some way, please let a judge know. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Romeo Lahey, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Conservationist and Arthur Groom (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi Bonkers The Clown,
I noted that you have added a lot of maintenance tags to the article Catholic High School, Singapore recently. Since then, I have been trying to improve its quality. Also, feedback on how to further improve this article will be greatly appreciated.

denied page for The Tutorialists
I have a question about the above submission.
It's my 1st post for Wikipedia, I’ve edited other pages but this is the first time I’ve created one from scratch. I have added citations from outside sources and understand to this point why the article has been denied. However I was wondering if I categorized the page differently would that make a difference?! Right now I have it set up as a "Website" maybe that's part of my issue. I couldn't see where I could set it up as "entertainment."
I'm frankly at a loss as to what else I can put/say to make this article notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. I know there are other pages specially set up for "web series." Can you tell me what they did that I’m not doing?!
The page was for a web series (that I’m not affiliated with) so that they can be included in some of the web series lists or comedy shows throughout Wikipedia. The hope is to create a bigger following for the web series and the creators who are frankly trying to compete on a small budget and a small scale with those around them.
Thanks in advance for your help with this! Beaslma (talk) 13:18, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Marcy (beaslma)

List of Ken Films Super 8 Releases
Hi,
You recently declined my submission of http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/KEN_Films_Super_8_Releases.
Ken Films was a movie company specialised in disbribution of Super 8 movies. The company went out of business sometimes in the beginning of the eighties. It's extremely hard to find any information about this company although it for some time was, as I understand the biggest in it's area with releases such as Star Wars, Planet of the Apes and Alien. I've managed to find an old order catalog on Ebay and that is what I've used as reference.
I think this listing is important since it's such a big part of our movie history and more so because it today is so hard to find any information about Super 8 releases. Ken Films releases is also a very popular among movie collectors: http://8mmforum.film-tech.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi
My plan was to keep working with this page and expand it whenever I get hold on more material on the subject.
Unfortunately I have no idea how to get any more information on this company that I can use as reference material. Maybe you have som suggestion.

Moon Mason article declined
Hi Bonkers, Thank you for the feedback on Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Moon_Mason. This is my first article I have created and I will rewrite it to reduce the peacock terms. I acknowledge I went overboard stressing the notability because another Administrator deleted an article on Moon Mason back in 2010 and wanted me to convince him that he is a notable actor User_talk:Bwilkins#Request_to_undelete_Moon_Mason before allowing any page on him. I am happy to delete the whole Notability section or maybe move it to the article talk page. I have also noted that a new user called User_talk:MasonMavinMaden has hijacked the facebook links. This may be a fan with their own facebook page or the Moon parents. Philiashasspots (talk) 13:47, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Bonkers, I have reworked the entire article and tried to resubmit it. I'd value your feedback. Philiashasspots (talk) 15:44, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Bonkers, I have made the changes you requested. That does improve the article. Thanks. Do I need to delete the link to the cyworld website and youtube channel? I'm happy to, but think I should have something in the external link section. I believe they are the "Official" ones. I can't read Korean :-) I want to add a photo of Mason, but have not researched how to get a "public domain" one of him to add. Philiashasspots (talk) 13:22, 8 January 2013 (UTC)

Re: Dr. Richard L. Bruno
Richard Bruno's bio had been on WIKIPEDIA for many years, but was removed because of what was thought to be a copyright violation of his photograph. No such violation was present, just as there is no photograph copyright violation in this submission. All photographs are taken by me and are my property as Dr. Bruno's media consultant.
As for "notability," Dr. Richard L. Bruno was already notable by WIKIPEDIA standards, hence his previous inclusion. He is internationally known as the world’s foremost expert on Post-Polio Sequelae, which affects 20 million polio survivors world-wide. He is Chairperson of the International Post-Polio Task Force, Director of The Post-Polio Institute and International Centre for Polio Education. He provides the only hope for millions of polio survivors with Post-Polio Sequelae world-wide.
As for "sources," the original posted WIKIPEDIA entry on Dr. Bruno asked for clarification of sources, which was done in detail here. All of Dr. Bruno's listed articles are from peer-reviewed medical journals. Primary sources for Dr. Bruno's work include "Newsweek", “The New York Times", "Los Angeles Times", "USA Today," as well as through his appearances on NBC's "Today" Show and ABC's "Good Morning America", on CNN, the "CBS Evening News," ABC News "Nightline," on the BBC, CBC, National Public Radio and on The Discovery Channel and The Learning Channel, his listing in the Federal Register and being feted on the floor of the House of Representatives.

AFCBuddy - quick question.
Hiyas there Bonkers,
I noticed this diff which seems to be asking for AFCbuddy to generate your diffs. I also noticed you added your name to the list but removed yourself fairly soon afterwards. I was just wondering - do you want AFCBuddy to generate the diffs? Technically taken they are already generated for everyone, i am just not uploading them unless a user gives me permission to do so. If you want them automated, just give me a nudge, ill be happy to add them for you as well :) Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 15:53, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
- Ohhhhh. No wonder! Nudge nudge. You have my absolute permission to do so. To think I wondered why the results weren't showing.... Haha. :) Sure saves lots of time. Cheers. Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 10:52, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- Haha, ok, understood. I'll add you to the list of users then. If nothing prevents me from doing so i should be uploading a run later today. Once that is done you you should see the diffs with the new format . Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 11:17, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot! So I need not manually update my list? Good. Cheers.... Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 11:18, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Michael Falzon Actor - edit
Firstly thank you for your help. You have at least given me somewhere to work from - which is appreciated. I will try and be a bit more impartial. Was that the only problem? I had added a lot of detail after being told the subject wasn't "notable" I was attempting to impress on the reviewers his body of work, which may not have been evident from the original.
I have reinstated the original version, and will attempt to edit it some what less effusively, while still pointing out the importance of the roles he has had and the venues he has played.
Thanks

Articles for creation/Eden primary
Hi. Thanks for taking the time to review the proposed page for Eden Primary.
You've advised that I add citations to secondary reliable sources. I think this has already been done. The first reference is to a BBC National Radio programme that devoted approximately five minutes to the school, right at the start of the report, because it is a notable and significant organization. Reference 9 is to an article in the London Standard which is entirely about the school. The London Standard has a reputation and readership that take it far beyond being considered a local paper. Reference 6 is to an entire article about the school in The Jewish Chronicle, which is a national newspaper, not local.
If these are not sufficiently verifiable, independent and notable, then I would appreciate it if you could tell me why. By the way, I realise that you are working purely on a voluntary basis and I massively appreciate that - I certainly don't want to give you a hard time.
Many thanks

When editors participate in reviewing articles for creation, they become an obvious source of information for newcomers wishing to understand why someone rejected a submission and what improvements are necessary. Editing the declined article
Hi. I recently had an article declined (http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Chaudhury_A.K.M._Aminul_Haque) as its referencing was considered to be inadequate. Unfortunately, given the fact that very few documents in Bangladesh, pre-2000, have been digitized and that there are no newspaper online archives that go back so far, it is difficult to find adequate sources/references for the biography's content. However, I am in possession of hard copies of English-langugage newspapers from Bangladesh and other secondary sources that corroborate the content of the article. Would I be able to attach scanned copies of them?
I am of the opinion that the subject of this biography, as a former Minister (Adviser) of the Government of Bangladesh, high ranking civil servant, financial sector reformer and founder member of Bangladesh's largest and most prominent private university, North South University, is notable enough to be included in Wikipedia. The fact that many of the documents attesting to his notability are not available online should not deprive of it such a status.
Please do let me know if I would be able to take such an action. Thank you!
MorshedM (talk) 14:03, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hey MorshedM. Agreed. But nobody says that sources must be online. Offline source (like the ones you have) are equally fine. They, too, establish notability. Just make sure that they are verifable. Note to cite them properly and enclose them with the respective <ref> and </ref> tags. When all that is done, it looks like your article needs a lil' copyedit though. Cheers. Happy editing! McGill University academic dress
The article I wrote (http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/McGill_University_Academic_Dress) was initially declined. I do not understand why. The format and style is practically the same as those on Stanford University Academic Dress (http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Academic_regalia_of_Stanford_University) and the Cambridge University Academic Dress (http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Cambridge_Academic_Dress). There is no opinion expressed at all in my article and everything is extensively documented using secondary sources. Please advise.
Thanks. Waov12 (talk) 17:03, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- Appreciate your asking. The tone of your article (which I believe you have put heart and soul into) does not comply with our Manual of Style and to me, it reads like a promotional advert for the school. Finite lattice representation problem -- article declined
Dear Bonkers,
Thank you for reviewing my article submission on the finite lattice representation problem. You declined my submission on the grounds that, in your view, it "reads more like an essay than an encyclopedia article." You state that "Submissions should summarise information in secondary, reliable sources and not contain opinions or original research."
I have reworded a few sentences to try to make it clearer that I am not offering my own opinions or conclusions about this subject. Please reconsider the article and see that it does not offer my own opinion, nor does it cite any of my own original research. All of my references are to well established academic journals or books or PhD theses (none of which are authored by me), and these sources have gone through a very rigorous editorial/referee process.
As for notability, this subject qualifies for an article according to the Wikipedia guidelines ("if there are reliable sources (such as newspapers, journals, or books) with extensive information published over an extended period about a subject, then that subject is notable and you must cite such sources as part of the process of creating (or expanding) the Wikipedia article.")
Please let me know if there are any other changes required before the re-submitted article can be accepted.

Mahabalipuram monuments project
Hi B - We're just working it at our own pace. It may be a while before all the articles are ready to move into mainspace, but we'll eventually get there. That's the beauty of working in a sandbox. :) --Rosiestep (talk) 02:18, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
- Okie dokie, so that's your working style, I see. Sure thing. Understand. Cheers. :) Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 05:21, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
Creation of Trust money article
Hi Bonkers, You helped me just over a week ago with my first article - Moon Mason. (You helped me by rejecting it about 3 times - but gave constructive feedback which taught me a lot). I have just submitted my second article for creation. Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Trust_money. Feedback would be appreciated. It has not been reviewed yet. - No doubt honored. Sure thing, looking at it. :D Cheers. Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 05:23, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
Having fun?
I appreciate your assistance at User:MichaelQSchmidt/sandbox/Jami Floyd, specially as you have been finding stuff I had on my "to do" list. Excellent. Perhaps you could turn your attention to the Awards section and help expand, date, and cite some of them? For instance, I find sources speaking toward "two" Emmmy Awards, but was able to find and cite just one. Sources have mentioned that she received two CINE Golden Eagles, but I have not (yet) been able to find when and for what.... but I'm digging for those even now. Looks like we'll have shared DYK. Neat. Thanks much, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 05:59, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
- Glad to hear that, I am currently scouting for sources. Do wait. Thanks. :D Cheers. Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 07:42, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
Small Suggestion
Have you considered a talk page archive? it would make your page so much more User friendly, there's an ungodly amount of threads here lol...Hell In A Bucket (talk) 09:52, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
- Haha, thanks for that suggestion. Actually, I was thinking of archiving once it reached message #188. Oh well, then. #177 it is. Spring cleaning for the new year... :) Cheers. Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 09:55, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
