Proposed deletion of Agra West
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Agra West, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Agra West
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Impressive work done
[edit]Hi,
I am really impressed by the number of articles you created related to UP (Dams, power plants, schools of Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow etc and several other pages related to Agra). Infact Indian content on Wikipedia needs numerous such articles on the lines of articles in category 'Neighbourhoods of Agra', as of now most Indian Wikipedian focus on articles that are at city level whereas we need local content as well. Ideally all Indian colleges, govt hospitals, dams, constituency, villages etc should have a page on Wikipedia (US related content have such pages till school level as well). Unfortunately I am pretty poor at page creation but I compensate that with category creation/categorization of pages, including hundreds of district level categories of several states of India (UP, Punjab, Haryana, HP, NE states, Uttrakhand etc). Vjdchauhan (talk) 06:11, 2 December 2008 (UTC).
Can you pl add article on Jhansi Fort and Sukwa-Dhukwa dam (near Babina)
[edit]Thanks. Vjdchauhan (talk) 07:16, 5 December 2008 (UTC).
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Jamni River, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.india9.com/i9show/Jamni-River-38527.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 04:46, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Tiger Fall
[edit]A tag has been placed on Tiger Fall requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I notice that this category you created is unpopulated (empty). In other words, no Wikipedia pages belong to it. If it remains unpopulated for four days, it may be deleted, without discussion, in accordance with Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#C1. I'm notifying you in case you wish to (re-)populate it by adding [[Category:Cities and Towns in Hathras District]] to articles/subcategories that belong in it.
I blanked the category page. This will not, in itself, cause the category to be deleted. It serves to document (in the page history) that the category was empty at the time of blanking and also to alert other watchers that the category is in jeopardy. You are welcome to revert the blanking if you wish. However, doing so will not prevent deletion if the category remains empty.
If you created the category in error, or it is no longer needed, you can speed up the deletion process by tagging it with {{db-author}}.
I am a human being, not a bot, so you can contact me if you have questions about this. Best regards, --Stepheng3 (talk) 18:22, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for uploading this media, It would be appreciated if you could add :
- 1-2 paragraphs explaining what is shown in the image.
- A location marker/geocode for the location shown.
As well as helping those categorising the image, it will help place the image in context and allow other users of the image (including academics) to make better use of the image :)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Langre ki Chauki has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unsourced. No reliable sources found.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Mccapra (talk) 19:21, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Schools in Allahabad
[edit]A tag has been placed on Category:Schools in Allahabad indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 17:11, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
