  503 PDX Radio is a Portland, Oregon area radio station that was launched on May 24th, 2011 to fill the markets recent void of a Hip Hop/R&B Station. The shortened nickname for 503 PDX Radio is 503 fm. It is sometimes called 503 fm PDX Radio. 
  503 PDX Broadcasts in a Hip Hop/R&B/Reggae format, with Hip Hop being the main format; followed by R&B/Soul and then Reggae/Dancehall. It also plays some pop,soft rock,jazz,blues and funk randomly from time to time.
  The station started as an online station available worldwide through the Live365.com music service. Live365 is the online host and server of the station. Live365 is an ascap, BMI and sesac licensed company. Making 503 PDX Radio a 100% legal royalties paid radio station. Being legal the station considers itself a serious future threat in the Portland, Oregon ratings market as well as the online worldwide ratings. AS of March 9th, 2012 the station is currently 32nd in ratings of the more than 350 Hip Hop stations broadcasting worldwide on Live365. Overall the Station ranks #1877 of the moere than 7,000 total stations of any genre that broadcast worldwide on live365.
